dedollarman:
OK their major political candidate is buhari but few for Atiku remember all atiku need is to divide the votes of north west and north east the block vote from south east and south south will compliment it
The the vote from north Central will compliment the vote from south west
Aside Plateau and maybe Benue (both with little margin), which of Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger and FCT can Atiku win? Stop deceiving yourself, only Southeast is kinda sure for Atiku, Buhari is sure of at least 35 to 40% of the votes in South South.

All polls conducted online even hardcore Apc members and loyalist was won hands down by Atiku and some idiot will still come here to preach Sai Berber will win in a free and fair election
Funny and childish analysis.

Have you seen what the good people of Kano are saying? If you've not, kindly click on this link to see for yourself. https://www.nairaland.com/5034212/watch-reactions-some-people-kano#75905906

Those are the real voters on ground not the fictitious likes and shares online.

Out of the 14 men interviewed, only 4 of them were "atikulooted", the rest are with Baba. That's Kano that's capable of bringing 2.5m votes. Women were not even interviewed. If 35 people were to be interviewed in Kano, Atiku wouldn't get more than 9 of them, how does he then intend to win the elections?

These are the real voters. 98% of them don't even know about the existence of nairaland. You think they'll use your nairaland' likes and shares to form a general opinion? Woman with brain. What if it had favoured Atiku, would you have been saying this? Saturday is near though.

You interviewed a few people in just one location of Kano and formed your opinion on that! Continue, Saturday is around the corner!
If you hope to win by doing this, I'd advise you to write your will before leaving home.

PoliticsRe: Watch The Reactions Of Some People In Kano, Buhari Or Atiku? by donphiilopus(m):
After watching the clip up to 2:35mins, I decided to post my comment.

I always laugh whenever I see some people who know nothing about Northern politics come here to tell us how Atiku would get up to 40% of the votes cast in Kano. Highest the guy can get is 19%.

I'm not here to write epistle tonight. Even if I do, they'd still continue to deceive themselves even when it's glaring that Atiku would lose this election.

Atiku himself in his press statement today already accepted that Northwest, Southwest and Northeast (which happens to be his region) are all Buhari's strongholds. Then what are we still fighting for when Atiku has already conceded defeat?

Let Saturday quickly come and go. I'm getting ready to laugh at most people who think nairaland' "likes and shares" win elections. Assuming all those people that click likes and shares on nairaland are all in Nigeria and have PVC's, just three polling units in Yobe would dwarf their votes. grin cheesy
PoliticsRe: No Matter What Happen This Saturday, Buhari Won't Be Returning As President by donphiilopus(m):
When Atiku has already admitted that Buhari is stronger than him in Northwest, Northeast and Southwest? Add about four states plus FCT in the North Central and Edo in the South South to Buhari's states then remove only Taraba and maybe Adamawa and tell me how Atiku would win.

With Atiku's press statement today, he has already conceded defeat to Buhari.

SarkinYarki:
Why Buhari's Shoot at Sight Order Is Coup Against the Electoral Act

I find it very worrisome that President Buhari is once again attempting to rape our laws like he had always done in the past ..

In 1983 is raped our laws by illegally removing an elected democratic govt despite what our constitution said about the ways a Nigerian President could be removed..

Just recently Buhari again attempted to use the the DSS to forcefully remove the Legislative leadership contrary to what out constitution stated .

Again the president tried to remove a serving CJN and appoint his own using imaginary powers he didn't have a problem that has now left our Judciary in tatters with with two CJNs

Why Today's Call Is Another Attempt to Suspend The Electoral Act.

The Nigeria Electoral Act is a set of laws that govern the conduct of Nigerian elections and there is no where in that electoral act where the death penalty is suggested for any Electoral crime at all, in Fact the law is even very clear on the fate of Ballot Snatchers under it and I quote

Section 129 (4) of the Electoral Act states, “Any person who snatches or destroys any election material commits an offence and is liable on conviction to 24 months imprisonment.”

In terms of electoral violence, the act stipulates in Section 131 that anyone found culpable “is liable on conviction to a fine of N1,000, 000 or imprisonment for a term of three years.”

Buharis statement is nothing but a clear suspension of our electoral act, infact a coup against the electoral act that was put in place to protect the electoral process and by making such a statement Buhari is attempting to suspend the act to give rise to anarchy and Jungle justice which will eventually cumulate into gross human rights abuse and intimidation of voters significant enough to alter the result of the exercise in Buhari favour..

Buharis statement must rejected by anyone who has a conscience and the fear of God .

Many thanks....SarkinYarki Bello
Enough of the epistle. You mistakenly try this, you go six feet below.

Whoever wanna snatch a ballot box should write his will before embarking on the journey.

That aside, I've sat down to do some analysis and I discovered there's no way Atiku would get up to what Jonathan polled in 2015. I see Buhari polling 15.9m votes while Atiku would poll about 11.9m votes even after giving him an edge over Buhari in Adamawa.

Even if I'm to deduct 1.6m votes from that of Buhari and give Atiku the votes, it would still be 14.3m votes for Buhari and 13.5m votes for Atiku.

Y'all can bookmark this post. Except the process is flawed, there's no way Atiku can defeat Buhari in this election.

I’m not impressed with APC’s response so far. The party must take drastic measures between today and Friday to avoid being rigged out on Saturday by PDP and the compromised INEC. PDP is not playing by the rules, APC should stop them using every means possible. I don’t understand why the party has not mounted a nationwide campaign for the removal of Okechukwu Ibeanu and REC’s of states where card readers, ballot papers and other sensitive materials have disappeared or got burnt. PDP had compromise the electoral process through crooked INEC officials, APC must respond in kind ASAP.
I learnt there was a pro-Biafran article written by the INEC committee chairman on logistics, Prof. Okechukwu Ibeanu in 2015.

https://opinion.premiumtimesng.com/2015/12/05/resolving-the-igbo-non-question-pitfalls-of-jibos-single-strand-ethnic-narrative-by-okechukwu-ibeanu/

How a secessionist was saddled with the responsibility of INEC logistics for this year's general election remains a mystery to me.

You are a good observer OP. In 2015, after looking at several poll conducted here in nairaland favouring Buhari, I concluded that He would win and it went that way. Now in 2019, same polls are been conducted in favour of Atiku. I have been telling my fellow PMB supporters that it will take a monumental rigging for PMB to win tomorrows election.

People can argue that likes/shares don't win election but a sample is a portion of a population that represents the whole population.

Let's see what tommorow holds for Nigeria.
Who are your "fellow" Buhari' supporters? Do you wanna see your anti-Buhari posts here? You don't need to lie to us to prove a point.

Nasarawa fell to PDP because of almakura's nonchalance. They allowed pdp to cause mayhem in in their strongholds thereby creating grounds for INEC to cancel alot of votes(over 15k in some areas). What almakura should have used their own thugs on the side of pdp strongholds too.
But he's too soft and we lost nasarawa.

Hypocrites.

For many years many of you said Buhari was too old until you had to canvas for Atiku yourselves.

Fulani was your problem.

No, Northerners were your problem.

Then it became Muslims.

Now you are canvasing for the same.

Shameless people.
I just tire bro.

Same people that insulted us for supporting an aged Buhari back then are now singing a different song now. They're only insulting CNN because their candidate is affected by the tweet. Had it been the tweet read "76yr old Nigerian leader seeks reelection against a 52yr old Atiku", they would have hauled insults at Buhari forgetting that Trump is of the same age range.

Hypocritical lots.

Get up to a million in Delta? Seems you don't know how they're canvassing for Buhari in Delta because they believe Ogboru stands a chance only when Buhari wins his election. Did you believe Magnus Abe could win that rerun election then? That's what would happen there come Saturday. Results are gonna be written there as usual. As for Anambra, there's no way a candidate can get up to a million vote there.
PoliticsRe: PDP Sues INEC For Insisting On Card Reader by donphiilopus(m): 4:00pm On Feb 13, 2019
Are they no longer certain of 80% of votes in Edo, 70% in Katsina, 75% in Kano, 80% in Lagos and 100% in Rivers? Very funny set of peeps.

With what I've been getting from my friends in Delta, Atiku would be very lucky to win there. If at all he wins, it would be 55:45%. This state gave PDP more than 1.2m votes in 2015 while Buhari could only manage to secure around 49k votes that year.

I stand to be corrected though but there's no state in Nigeria where PDP is certain of a million vote come Saturday. Their defeat is becoming visible, audible, vocal and perceivable to them reason they've been approaching different courts lately for infinitesimal issues. I won't be surprised to see them in the basketball court soon. grin
