Glad to know you're from Edo State. The biggest loser in this contest is Senator Domingo Obende representing Edo North. When he sought re-election, Oshiomole betrayed him. He has been a Senator since 2011 and I've been projecting him for the Senate Presidency before the Primaries. If Oshiomole had allowed him to win the Primaries, he would have been the only APC Senator from the two regions, ie, SE/SS because the APC Candidate, Francis Alimikhena won the Election here. But being a 1st term Senator, he wouldn't have the legislative experience to seek for the Office of the President of the Senate or other Principal Positions. Oshiomole's selfish interest beclouded his sense of reasoning... He knows APC would win the Presidency and if Domingo should win, he might be made the President of the Senate or other Principal Officer, as such, Oshiomole wouldn't be able to get the Senate Ticket come 2019!!

I was telling my that maybe the SS just threw their chance of becoming the senate president away. APC may likely be the majority in the senate which means David Mark cannot be the senate president. It would have been an almost automatic/unchallenged opportunity for Magnus Abey (I assume he contested for senatorial seat) if he was not rigged out by GEJ backed Wike.

Now with the President coming from the north and Vice from SW and no APC senator from SS and SE, it looks like Saraki may take the seat his father once sat as the senate president.

Nice one. I would wanna let you know that APC produces one Senator in the SS, ie, my Senatorial District (Edo North), Francis Alimekhena.. If the incumbent (Domingo Obende) had won his Primaries, alongside Chris Ngige and Magnus Abe including one other Senator from Rivers, I'm very certain we would have got the Senate Presidency Slot. But since Alimekhena is going as a 1st term Senator, he may not be given any Principal Position or he would be treated like Hosea Ayoola Agboola of Oyo North who won the only PDP Senate Seat in the Southwest then!

Obviously elections are not free and fair in most places. Both APC and PDP did rigged. Nevertheless, in my opinion if a free and fair election is held APC will win. However, I'm not a fan of GEJ but he will remain in office come May 29th.

I guess you're a member of the Omega Fire Ministry. If you truly a member, I would understand your sentiments. One of my baes (a member of the Omega Fire Ministry) told me Buhari can never win or rule Nigeria but since it has dawned on her, she's now saying Buhari would win but would not rule. She believes whatever her Pastor says. So lemme just assume that you're also a member of that Church!

Stupidity is when you say we should wait for INEC to announce the official result when the result doesn't favour you but celebrate when it favours you. BTW, I thought you said Buhari would not be able to secure 25% of the votes in Edo State!

APC is gonna clear Egbira land, no doubt. I trust my brothers from another State. Almost 98% of the Egbiras who voted in my PU voted Buhari. I love those people because they truly want Change!

Yea... That's why I'm very perplexed. I thought they said most of them believe we're infidels and wouldn't like Christians to rule/lead them. Most of them who are of that opinion would have a different perspective about the Northern Muslims after seeing this result.

Thought APC was an Islamic Party. How come they fielded a Christian against a PDP Muslim in a (core) Northern State (though Middle belt)?!

What's this one saying? That doesn't in any way affect or concern me because GMB won my PU by a whopping 24 votes. He had 122 votes while Jonathan had 98, so why all the noise? BTW, by what margin compared to 2011?

NB: Buhari had 0 vote at my PU during the 2011 General Election.

What's this one saying? One of the results I just got/saw from Lagos suggests that Buhari is winning. He had 62 while Jonathan had 38. So stop the false celebration!
