For you to type dis and gather many likes shows the kind of senseless people will have in this country.

A married woman cries out for help against sexual harassment, you said she is chasing clout. When such allegations or accusations springs up, the senate should be able to set up committee to look into it.

The same Akpabio has been making unnecessary comments concerning Naija citizens, and also being in numerous scandals of lately and yet you are indirectly defending him.

Don't worry, wait till it happens your wife or sisters, you can then say they are chasing clout.
Its unfortuanate her cry out seems more like shifting goal post ... an altercation happened in the house, and from the look of things she seems to be the one wrong

suddenly she brings sexual harassment to blanket the real issue ... when tree fall on tree which one sensible person go 1st carry smiley

Why won't they be weary when they are all sexual predators and guilty, 99% of Nigeria men are sexual predators. If you know what career women are facing in this country you won't be saying this.

You called it a naive move because you are a Nigerian like them. If this happened abroad will all know the story wil be different.

Yeye men.
lol ! and as a matter of fact n experience i can tell you women feel dey have spiritual problem when Men are not ogling or sexually attracted to her cheesy

During buhari tenure How much was school fees and house rent compared to now?

These farmers pay the same high bill everyone is paying, where will they get the money from? Definitely from their produce.

Tackle the root of the sickness, the symptoms will vanish
You are deviating, house rent and school fee under buhari is lower compared to now. agreed

We are not denying the necessity for prices increase But the bone of contention is our local market are "OverPriced , what i find more annoying is the fact that; For every increase in price comes with a decrease in quantity and quality of any local product.

cost of production should be the one dictating Prices, not lifestyle, taste or family problem which seems to be the case

The favorable solution to meet standard of living is upscale productivity, producing more increases your turn over rate but Nigeria trader see overstating price as a sure path to make quick profit

inflating prices to amass turnover is like pooing where you sleep .. the smell will affect people around and You tew.
if you sell yam nd inflate price you will meet me that sell egg there undecided even gas seller they wait for us cheesy its a vicious cycle of karma

where their is inflation, a hike is tenable but Over pricing as we have seen here is what i condemn
BusinessRe: Naira Down To N1,510/$ In Parallel Market by donself9: 9:38am On Mar 04, 2025
DeLaRue:
Crude oil price at the international market has been falling in recent days and weeks.

Good news - Dangote and other refineries will probably reduce petrol price again within the next 2 - 3 weeks.

Bad news - Naira will start falling (slowly) because falling crude oil price means Nigeria's crude related earnings will fall.

The United States economy is also weakning and may go into recession. A weakened US economy combined with warmer weather in the US and Europe will likely mean less demand for crude and continuing reduction in crude oil prices in the coming weeks and months.

If crude oil price hits $65 per barrel, petrol prices in Nigeria could fall to around N750 per litre.

But naira may fall to around N1600.

Hmm
Oga, dem no dey use big prick threaten old grandma ... Nigerians are at that stage

we have seen dollar almost cross to 2k and fuel price was above 900 ..

if Pms should come as low as 750 and dollar at ticks 1600 it will still reflect + impact ... power is the main catalyst in production

If there's no importation of fuel, Dangote won't be reducing price like he is doing now

Why is he not reducing the price of cement? Government should stop the policy of banning importation
On cement matter i want to believe Dangote is transfering the undisclosed burden govt is placing on him to the buyers.

Local production should be leverage inclined, where we dont have leverages like rice, it is more logical to import
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Agricultural Imports Policy Is Suicidal by donself9: 8:18am On Mar 04, 2025

The major problem is the high cost of living, inflation.

They will sell at normal price if there's no high inflation, so we can't blame them dat much.

FG should do the needful, bring down inflation, subsidize agricultural production and encourage massive investment in the sector until supply exceed demand.
Even @high cost of living, still on still most of the price hikes are greed incline,

i dont know of a time we agreed cost of living was low in Nigeria, before Buhari close our boarder to foster local production, our local farm products were more affordable

Even if FG bring down inflation and all, Our farmers n middlemen greed wont let it yield, in Nigeria," ise kekere owo nla" is what we all desire

They should gettat arraherrrrshocked

We are too wicked in this country, a pal in taraba told me how farmers were balling. I know middle men(worse) who have made fortunes on sales of rice, beans and corn. Our beef and chicken are too expensive.

We need the imports oOoOO, see as Dangote refinery is giving importers hot hot 🥵🔥💥💣💯. That's the only way to get true value for goods and services. It's only in Nigeria that economic principles are defied 😕
This is just our truth, we know there are challenges But the larger part of the inflation is greed inclined, those middlemen have corrupt local farmers completely just like house agents are opening landlords' eye

I will always commend Dangote for what he is doing in the oil market, he could have join them nd be cashing out big big ... give Nigerians a freehand and they will abuse it next min
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Agricultural Imports Policy Is Suicidal by donself9:
Since Nigeria has refuse to be compatable with standard economy policies then we might as well adjust to remodelling base on local pecularity

Buhari gave the head away for agricultural development, almost 10yrs downline no significant growth no gain, same stories and excuses from farmers while people are suffering, local rice is more expensive than quality foreign rice undecided whats the point

insecurity might be a challenge, but our farmers and middlemen are not sincere, what we see is conniving and exploiting poor Nigerians

If our farmers and local traders can cite the dollar as an excuse to hike prices, then we might as well move to importation,

As an Igbo woman, I’ll tell you it’s not about Igbo women being the most faithful or whatever.

Marriage comes with a lot of ties. It’s physical, emotional, psychological and of course family ties, formed connections and roots. Doing it with one person is more than enough. Even in the case of till death do us part, who wants to do that all over again? Your kids will now have multiple sets of grandparents? That’s why I don’t understand polygamous marriages.
Lets not leave snake nd be shooting earthworm, the limiting factor for marriage or re marriage is the
RIGID CUSTOMS & TRADITION of igboland, revolting against kinsmen stand sometimes come with consequences or sanction

Those ladies with children marry non-Igbos mostly. Honestly, I think Igbo men mostly go fresh ladies and these other tribes have tendencies to still fall in love. If you are a single mother, the chances of an Igbo guy marrying you is very slim compared to these tribes I mentioned.

I am not saying this to disparage the Igbos to be honest, just an observation. If the husband dies and the Igbo lady has children, there are tendencies that she may remain unmarried for life. I think they stay with their husband more and find it hard to move on when the relationship ends. It might be a cultural thing though.
You are aint far from the truth, culture/customs are strong influence when it comes to marriages and remarry

Southwest to the best of my knowledge are the most liberalized from shackles of customs/culture and on a thought some part of Southsouth you mentioned are relative to southwest ...
You can easily find a yoruba marry a after one woman cos family/kinsmen allow full autonomy

As for South east, there customs/tradition are rigid-like, and rebelling against your kinsmen advisory mostly come with consequences

You can see a yoruba boy live all his life in Lagos or kaduna, but can still get privilege in his state of origin at any time, But a igbo man that dare to stay away from is hometown knows he stands no privilege among his kinsmen.

Regional flexibility is key to the discourse

Every thing you said I agree o except that one that you said that assuming he was in a range rover and still can't resist the urge to steal would have had spiritual inclinations... mba, I disagree.

Poor man dey steal rich they steal and they are both demonic possession of the human spirit especially in this boy's case cos me sef try reason am but can't help but come to the conclusion. The idle mind is a DEVIL'S abode, whether rich or poor o. The only difference is the magnitude of what they stole or can steal, afterall, our rich politicians without ideologies are milking the country dry in millions and billions.

Afterall said, you are right. Money over everything reigns supreme in Nigeria and guess what, at its very core is greed and selfishness. Discontentment in every nook and cranny of the country. Falsehood and lack of integrity. Taking advantage of one another at any cost even if it takes away life. It's so sad and those in authority are making it worse. Honestly, I feel sorry for the country and I do pray for it.
Oga i think you are just being over religious here, i agree a rich man can also "steal" But what you fail to reason is that,

A rich man that drives range would properly move to steals millions or gold But where a rich man is caught stealing chicken, power bank, or television thats odd, when you steal what you dont need to survive then we can weigh in "kleptomania or spiritual influence"

Can a rich man be idle sha ! shocked educate me

With the way Govt is reinforcing poverty across the nation it unfortunate "Money over everything" wont stop ... survival is key and people would do just anything to survive and earn respect/relevance in a society like ours.

I am shocked no one spoke about psychological therapy or spiritual deliverance for him.

This shows backward, ignorance, myopic, the Nigerian society is.

As I told some people.

Nigeria is cursed and everyone is suffering while trying to push the blame and aggression on one another.

Even common sense should tell you guys above me that there is more to it than meet the eye.

The cursed society will also carry out their generational curse by locking the guy up.

It's just a shame, this country is going down and down the drain.

You'll be surprised how this guy would flourish if he leaves Nigeria for a year.

A country where everyone is bound to fail except they leave to another country. You hear a lot of great ideas on Radio and TV but when those Men face reality, they get confused.

What a shameful and horrible story Nigeria is.

There are spirits and demons in Nigeria that makes people think and want the neighbours downfall for no significant reason and more so sensationalise the downfall.

True Christike love is lacking, even in churches.

Everyone is all Man to selfish self. It goes on and on.

You never see sincerity and Truth in the intent of what anyone is doing.

Night club locations competing with Church locations, yet the many churches don't have any significant impact on the character of the average citizen.

Even in myself, I feel these forces trying to frustrate the Good Plan that God has for me in this country.

Sincerely speaking, we need to humble ourselves and Pray and turn from our wicked ways and seek God's face, so that He'll hear from Heaven and heal our Land.
Oga you aint making sense,
1. 1st of all, Nigerians or a typical Nigerian is not wired for therapy
2. the chances that an idle poor man steals is spiritual is decimal low

If the guy had parked range rover or benz to go steal TV maybe common sense for tell us there is more to it

The guy is yoruba, in yoruba land ti iya ati baba ba bi e dá wa tun tun ara e bi i.e should your parent born you well you go further to rebirth yourselve well.
the mere thought of not wanting to disappoint the governor suppose deter him

Nigeria is not cursed, Our society was only founded wrongly on the basis of Money over everything, there is no country in the world that worship money more than Nigeria.

This mindset of yours is shallow. What's the need for making beautiful kids when you've got nothing to care for them?? This is why many guys believe that an average lady lacks the capacity for rational thoughts.

I'll rather make kids who are not so beautiful but would have money to enjoy good things of life than birth poverty-stricken fine-looking kids.
Your reasoning is beneath myopic, the lady you quoted she is not a Nigerian, money is not a centre of worship
