harkintem: I will advise you not to use your Fx if you’re paying from Nigeria and you want to book Lufthansa airline to Canada. There are date for Lufthansa airline that are less than 900k (paying with naira account). $3100 is too expensive Aswear, how will you book economy class flight to canada $3,000. I can help you book for cheaper flights if you don’t know how to

Summerbutterfly: Hello people,
So i submitted an application for a visitor visa alongside my mom and dad last year June ( 16TH June 2022).
Since we submitted the application we are just getting a feedback today for the first time in 11months
For my application it was rejected because the visa officer does not believe that I don’t have any visa rejections in the past ( i have a robust travel history, I’ve been to at least 20 countries in the last 10-15 years, US included), and honestly I’ve never been rejected a visa in the past. My question is, should i appeal the decision and attach all my previous visas ? (I’m honestly not desperate to get the visa but I don’t see the basis of the rejection). Also, i would like to add that every other aspect of my application is fully covered …i.e i have family ties as my husband and daughter will be in Nigeria, i am also fully employed at a government facility and i believe i have attached enough proof of funds.
My mum’s and Dad’s application is still being processed.
Kindly advise.
P.s : we applied as a family because we plan on visiting my brother who is a student in Vancouver. |

Nedu19: Background Verification started showing "In Progress" on the 3rd of April. However, this has not reflected on the timeline.
IRCC seem to be a bit slow on Spousal Sponsorship approvals at the moment.
Do you know if I can query IRCC via a webform eventhough my application is still within processing time for SS? Exactly, They will tell you that your application is still within the processing time and that they are working on it. What about your eligibility, has it started? |

Hi guys,
I am trying to track my application as the principal applicant, but my representative keeps telling me that “if he gives me the code as directed, he will no longer have access to my file”
Please how true is that? Can’t we both track my application?

Tiwatope12: Yes o, I tried to track it o, it said its either details are incorrect or the application isn't on their system yet.
My details are very correct, the whole process is exhausting abeg You need to input your details just as it appears on your passport. If you have a middle name, add it to the first name. |

Tiwatope12: For family sponsorship I received a mail from them in June 2022 that my application for Resident permit has been received‚ I was asked to pay for biotmerics of which I did. Around September, additional documents were requested and till this moment I haven't heard anything from them and I haven't even gotten a biometric instruction letter yet. Any advise please? What additional document was requested? |

Yaltz: Here is my case
Thank for the info on the group Please I want more information here is my case
I did a non appearance marriage certificate 2 years ago for my wife bcuz of her NYSC while I was in Europe
In December, we had our marriage but we didn’t do Ikoyi bcuz we thought we had a real certificate. Since 2 months ago I have been asking the lawyer that processed it for the scratch card na so I Dey hear different story ooo say there is nothing like non appearance marriage.
I was just confused why the werey lawyer didn’t tell us from the beginning and it all bcuz I wasn’t in naija If you are applying to relocate to Canada, you maybe ask for a valid marriage certificate. And that can be gotten from any federal government approved marriage registry(See attached) Even with this, you still need to provide pictures of proof of marriage. There is no such thing as non-appearance marriage. More reason pictures of wedding is mandatory.

Makibarbie: @lekan please while going through application history, the last update from ircc earlier this month stated that “we sent a message about your application read carefully and take appropriate action as necessary” I didn’t get any message from them prior to now and I have been trying to sign up with my Uci all along but i was only able to do that this night and seeing this last update from them without me getting any email as regards this is getting me worried. My spouse eligibility is completed, my biometric is completed from my last (v application)
Do you think this message could be medical request? Does this request only comes as a mail or is there any other way i can check this?
Please anyone with answers can respond. Why not drop a breakdown of your application and dates so far Medical request comes from a month and two weeks after biometric instructions and you have a maximum of 30days from date of request to submit your medical |

lekanlaniyan: Well, below is what I can say for now:
1. The application is still in progress. 2. Still waiting for the Eligibility and Background verification to be completed.
How is your application going too? It's exactly 2months since medical passed. Still hoping to hear from them

lekanlaniyan: I am June 2022 applicant, and all the above process has been carried out.
Usually, it takes within 2-4months + for your Eligibility and Background Verification to be completed.
Then you will get Pre-arrival email, COPR, and International Passport Requests.
Success. Have you heard from them? |

Looking for info on how can I send passport directly to either Accra or Kenya rather than going through VFS Lagos or Abuja as I heard they can be slow. I'll probably have to send it to Accra if I'm doing it directly because my VO is in Accra. I'd appreciate any help pls. Thanks! Please what do you mean “Proof of contact & “funds””? Is proof of funds required for a sponsorship visa? |
