Look at the useless people Atiku surrounded himself with. Tambuwal, Sule Lamido, Ayu, Saraki, Dino Melaye.

How exactly was he expecting to win
If Peter Obi didn't contest independently, Atiku would have won with this same team of politicians you are ridiculing.

Tambuwal singlehandedly fought to retain Sokoto against the Buhari Mai Gaskiya wave in 2019. He was the only elected PDP Governor in the NW zone and he ensured to deliver more than 25% of Sokoto votes to Atiku in 2019 against a formidable Buhari.

APC - 460,302 ✅

PDP - 275,776
I knew this one will be a cakewalk.

APC is taking minimum of 5 out of the 7 NW states. Infact, It can go as high as winning the whole 7 sev.

Lagos Governorship final results;

APC: 739,526

LP: 296,832

PDP: 63,849
Looks like APC didn't even need all the rubbish and disgusting shit they did Yesterday, they'd have won easily nonetheless considering this devastating margin.

The thuggery institution must be put to work no matter what, I guess?

It may seem as if this lends credence to some reports I've been seeing about Tinubu calling and sending 'pacifists' to Obi to beg him to let go of the court case and accept the presidential result

If that is true, it'll be interesting to see what plays out in the coming months in light of the bolded above.
The bolded is an outright Lie.

You are falling for Twitter propaganda.

I don't think there's any.

With the precedence we have in the South, it won't be long before someone reminds her that her Husband's mother's father's cousin is not from the state, so should not be voted for

GRV and Akeredolu's wife comes to mind
Yeah. That's another problem.

As a female politician, which state will accept you to be their Governor - the state of your origin? Or the state of your husband's origin? All these can still be overlooked for Legislative seats like senate and HOR, but a position as significant as Governorship will sure raise eyebrows.

If a woman contest in her state of origin, she will be reminded that she now belongs to her husband, if she contests in her husband's state of origin, she will be told she doesn't belong there.

If somehow, all these are avoided by even marrying from your own state, then you are welcomed with the "Why should a woman become a governor when there is a man?" rhetorics. The wahala go too much.

INEC has declared 2 house of assembly seats for LP so far!
Say what you will but an 8 month old movement that is permeating the whole Nigerian political space is a huge stride and achievement.

Festac and satellite town about to experience quality representation in Lagos assembly.
This is a very big achievement.

APC cleared all State House of Assembly seats in 2019. They cleared everything. Good thing that has changed this time around.

From Tinubu’s director of media

🤭
That messaging is too dangerous coming from someone in Tinubu's circle. APC Lagos are not even hiding their desperation anymore.

The funny thing is : there is a new growing demography of young Yoruba voters who are liberal, friends with people of other ethnic groups, and inclined to vote against APC. If APC does not woo these people to their side through progressive policy and development, these people will vote against them 10 times out of 10. So, APC's base is getting depleted year after year.

This method of pitting Yoruba vs Igbo (or other ethnic group) is getting outdated gradually and won't be sustainable in the long run. Too Clear.

States that have produced a total of 1m votes plus since 1999

Compare 2003 with 2023 how many states were churning out huge numbers until PVC came into existence

6 states in 1999
18 states in 2003
Not enough data released for 2007
15 states in 2011
9 states in 2015
7 states in 2019
5 states in 2023

This shows how reduced votes writing has become over the years
At the moment, States capable of returning one million votes or more in Nigeria should not be more than 7 states. But that list spanning from over 20 years ago has over 21 states. Shows how inflation of votes was a normal routine before now.

I believe BVAS is the ultimate game changer in this 2023 election anyway. Unlike before when politicians collude with INEC officials and other party agents perpetuate unimaginable levels of rigging through vote writing and vote inflation. Now, you need to accredit actual real voters with the BVAS to kind of legitimise your rigging because votes can't be higher than the number of accredited voters on BVAS. Though the possibility of rigging has not been totally erased, but it has clearly reduced.

Despite card readers, the 2015 election that ushered in Buhari was also crazy. No way those numbers from NW and NE is totally genuine. People came out to vote Buhari overwhelmingly indeed but the number was thoroughly inflated to balance out GEJ anticipated rigged votes from SS and SE. Those were dark days.

The door doesn't get shut to anybody.

Since 1999, the country gets worse and worse. Its no brainer that Buhari will be a hero before 2027

Nigerians will always wail for a saviour, and any critic stands a chance.

He did well without no Governor or Senator; winning 12 states, and falling short of 2 million votes, all in 8 months.

Lets watch and see sha
Search for Messiah cannot erode the "rotational Presidency" tradition in Nigeria but I get your point nonetheless.

Very much expected

They have done extremely well for an 8 month movement.

If Obi no decamp, he has a high chance of ruling this country.
I don't think LP can win a National election in 2027 without a considerable number of Governors. He should form a "coalition" with PDP. Notice I didn't say "decamp"?

Because after 2027, the door gets shut at him till 2039.

LP performing scandalously nationwide.

Being the only Christian frontrunner really helped Peter Obi especially after an 8 year Presidency by a Muslim.

As it stands, LP isn't winning any Governorship seat outside SE.

Out of the 3 in SE, They can't get more than 2.

Looking like PDP cleared 25/26 House of Assembly seats in Osun.

Appeal and Supreme Court should dismiss APC and Oyetola's case no matter how credible it is.

The Presidential, Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly election results have legitimised Adeleke's government. No need fighting a lost battle.
