XAUTrader4L:
Check the long/short position tool on tradingview, it should corroborate what am saying. It uses ticks for pips.

The best explanation I can give u is,
From ur screenshot I can approximate ur entry to be around 1820.
Price is around 1794 at the time of typing.
Your approximate profit pips is 260 x 0.25 = $650.
But going by your own explanation, then u should be having around $6500 profit.

So boss @Xautrader4L , which estimate is correct?

XAUTrader4L:
About 2000+ pips so far

200+ pips sir

infofirst:
Daily seems to be the generally acceptwd best tf for analysis. Sometimes @meshpips suggested weekly to be best. And I tend to agree with him but in all, the higher tf are all good. And its good to always scalp in their direction when you choose to scalp.

That's why I still don't understand scalpers,
If you scalp in the direction of the trend then why not jx swing or trade intra day

infofirst:
There will be another this week still....

And then almost everything fails one way or the other in this market be it candlesticks with all confirmation, patterns, structures etc.
I strongly think risk and money management is the only one that hardly fails.

Offcourse nothing is guaranteed., Buh having all these gives that extra edge over the market

I think its more of volume adjusted price

XAUTrader4L:
Boss man, mehn that is what gold can do. i will wait for extra confirmation before entering any trade again. better for me to do that and walk away with my smaller profit than allow it bite me again lol.

That's d candlestick confirmation I was talking about...

Buh then again we all trade differently

Edd1e:
Everyone trades differrent. As for me, i don't care about chart pattern, candle sticks, order bkocks, blah blah.
Ionly watch out for levels, red and green candles and some other things

What do u make of the chart below?

The key is having a trading edge

The red and green candles at key levels is what I'm talking about sef...

Is that a Renko chart abi heiken ashi...don't really know much about em sha

Theyoungmaster:
Please who knows where I can get daily figures for financial institution orders? I want to factor it into my analysis.

Cftc,gov/MarketReports/CommitmentsofTraders/index.htm

Replace the comma with dot

I've observed that most traders here don't factor in candlestick formation for their entries..

I May be wrong sha. Just my observation
