YesDaddyTill203: Most of the same people who will come here to complain about this system are the same who think that Kanu should be allowed to walk free. Their level of hypocrisy is just astonishing.
You are ok with allowing the head of a terrorist organization to walk free, but the foot soldiers should all be jailed for life. How many thousands of foot soldiers are you going to jail for life? Can the country even afford to imprison thousands of these so-called repentant terrorists for many years to come?
The answer is no. What you do is you find those among them that can be rehabilitated and allow them a second chance. The ones that you do not give second chances are their bosses, like Kanu and many of those Boko Haram leaders that have been killed over the years.
After any major war, foot soldiers are often allowed to walk free, but their leaders are the ones that can never be allowed to walk away.
Only you and your government are calling I.POB a terrorist organization. No other country in the world considers them as such; I.POB has offices and branches in most countries of the world, holds meetings and protests openly, and none of those countries bother them because they don't consider them terrorists. Can you say the same about Boko Haram and similar groups? Your government's labeling I.POB a terrorist group is like defaming a dog to get it killed. You are very hypocritical people.
Is Cameroon Copying Equatorial Guinea in Making the President's Son Vice President?
Yes, as of early April 2026, reports indicate that Cameroon is implementing a political restructuring that closely mirrors that of Equatorial Guinea, by moving to create a Vice President position and appointing the president's son to the role, effectively setting up a hereditary succession plan.
According to reports, this move in Cameroon directly echoes the situation in Equatorial Guinea, where President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has held power since 1979 and appointed his son, Teodorin Nguema Obiang Mangue, as Vice President in 2016 to secure a family dynasty.
Key Details on the Situation in Cameroon (April 2026): Appointment of Son: Reports state that 93-year-old President Paul Biya, who has ruled since 1982, appointed his son, Franck Emmanuel Biya, as Vice President through a decree, consolidating power by also making him Head of the Armed Forces. Constitutional Shift: Parliament approved a constitutional amendment to reintroduce the Vice President role, which was abolished in 1972. Under this new law, the appointed Vice President is positioned to automatically take over in the event of the president's death, resignation, or incapacitation, bypassing an immediate election. Succession Concerns: Critics have condemned the move, accusing the regime of securing a dynastic succession similar to that in Equatorial Guinea.
heysquare: One thing you failed to understand about numbers recorded is that the 24 people recorded cases in your region might be probably be Igbos alone while those people recorded in Southwest might not be only Yorubas due to large presence of other tribes.
Have you observed that the only records that you see SE doing badly is the one compiled in Nigeria The ones they don't have power to compile SE always comes out in flying colors. Please my SE people this is not a good results oo!, 24 is too much let's work on it to make it zero till eternity
This is a good development. The youth have awakened; pregnancy cannot be hidden for long. Those who lived by the propaganda that said the Igbos have no access to the sea and are confined only to the five eastern states can now go and hug a transformer.
Osun state governor Ademola Adeleke was asked to deliver welcome speech but he was busy singing and dancing. First Lady angrily went to him and asked him to focus on his written speech or leave the stage.
Ade dancer was really embarrassed
This Tinubu wife is very controlling and overbearing! What kind of shameful display is this? Being the president's wife doesn't give you the right to come to a state and start ordering the governor around. If the way the governor does things bothers you, you should just put up with it for the 10 or 15 minutes he's on the microphone. imagine if Patiance Jonathan did this kind of thing.
DrMB: 40+ years in power? What's the first word that comes to mind when you see leaders like https://otcs-eg.moc.com/otcs/llisapi.dll/open/33775148 (43 years) and Paul Biya (43 years) on this list? Looking at the backgrounds, mostly military or militia, do you think a long tenure is more common or easier to achieve when coming from a non-civilian background? Share your thoughts! 👇
There is a wrong information here about Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has actually been in power from 3rd of August 1979 till date, making it a total of 46 years. He is the only president on earth who has his son as his vice president.

I tried to go back to the past by asking AI if there was ever a time Wike praised Peter Obi on his performance in education. Below is the AI Overview:
Yes, there was a time when Nyesom Wike, as the Minister of State for Education, he publicly applauded Peter Obi for his support of education during Obi's tenure as governor of Anambra State. Wike's previous praise for Obi In 2013, Wike praised Obi's educational initiatives while attending an event in Anambra. He was reported to have said: "Not just Anambra, but the entire country should be proud of Governor Obi". He described Obi's work in education and his support for schools as "impressive" and "worth replicating". The commendation included a commitment from the federal government to implement similar initiatives in unity schools, beginning with Anambra. Wike joined Obi at a groundbreaking ceremony for a vocational school in Uga, a project cited as evidence of Obi's influence in securing federal projects for his state.
We can now see that these politicians are double mouthed
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike has cautioned former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi over his recent criticism of the state of public schools in the FCT.
In a statement released on Thursday, October 16, by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike advised Obi to focus on rebuilding his political career instead of “seeking media attention by turning himself into a critic of everything, including the most ridiculous.”
Obi, during a visit to LEA Primary School in Kapwa, Abuja, had described the condition of public schools in the FCT as “a national disgrace” and an example of Nigeria’s “hollow commitment to education.”
Responding, Olayinka said the FCT Administration under Wike was focused on “real and verifiable development,” not what he called the “Mad Man Advice Induced Beer Parlour Development” that allegedly characterised Obi’s eight years as Anambra governor. “In the FCT, real and verifiable development is taking place. Seventy-three schools are presently being renovated across the six Area Councils, while twenty-one have been completely renovated,” he stated.
While acknowledging that some schools in the FCT still require government attention, Olayinka insisted that Wike’s administration has made significant progress. “Unlike Obi, who did nothing to uplift the education sector as Governor of Anambra State, the Wike-led FCTA has been building and renovating schools. A total of 102 contracts have been awarded for school renovations, and as of today, twenty-one have been completed while work continues on others,” he said. He challenged Obi to disclose how many schools he built during his tenure, arguing that if the former governor had truly delivered the level of transformation he often claims, “Anambra State would have become a reference point in development.”
“As Governor of Anambra State for eight years, he chose to keep the state’s money in his own bank instead of using it to build schools, roads, hospitals, and other infrastructure. Today, Anambra is still suffering from the effects of his eight years of misgovernance, with his successors trying to fix the rot he left behind,” Olayinka alleged.
He further dismissed Obi as an “Internally Displaced Politician (IDP)” searching for relevance. “It is funny that someone who should be worried that he doesn’t even have a platform for the 2027 election has turned himself into a political wanderer,” he said.
Olayinka also questioned Obi’s political future, asking: “Under which party is Mr. One Shoe contesting the 2027 presidential election? Will any party still give him a presidential ticket simply because he can lie about having one shoe and one wristwatch, as the Labour Party did in 2023?”
By the way I don't think the course is irrelevant as some people above claim.
Its actually a good and sustainable course. Many people are more comfortable getting lost in the crowd. MI called it crowd mentality.
Nice one. Congratulations to her!
Many people don't know that this course is very good. I work in the Health, Environment, and Safety department of a multinational oil and gas company, and most of my colleagues in the environmental section of our department studied the same course.
