It wasn't ordinary or natural. It was deeply rooted and planned out in the realm of the spirit. Even many so called Christian were hypnotized and swayed to join the SAI BABA Slogan. To God be the Glory, some of us were not deceived.
My question to Dele now is, can this apology return our naira to 190 to 1dollar, fuel to 97 per liter, What about those that lost their jobs? Actually, any body that was born before 1984 and still supported Buhari's second coming must accept that they were truly under a spell.

Politics / Dele Momodu Apologizes To Nigerians For Supporting Buhari by DonXavi(m): 2:49pm On Feb 23, 2021
Dele Momodu wrote.
"Today, I am now reasonably convinced that the entire melodrama was meticulously planned and masterfully executed in order for some people to paint President Goodluck Jonathan as pathetically incompetent, and the reason his government must be sacked urgently.
I confess to believing the full narrative at the time, like most Nigerians, hence my almost fanatical support for Major General Muhammadu Buhari, in that sad period of our nascent democracy.
I wish to express my sincere apologies once again for believing that tale by moonlight and for being amongst those who plunged Nigeria into this unmitigated disaster from which we may not fully recover in decades to come unless God decides to deliver us miraculously. " - Hope For Nigeria

Religion / Jesus Christ Is Saves An Atheist by DonXavi(m): 3:09pm On Feb 15, 2021
JESUS CHRIST IS SAVING LIVES! COME TO JESUS NOW!
“This was a few years ago. I was gothic and worshipped the devil. I was an atheist so I didn't believe Satan was real, so this was more of a rebellion against religion. How wrong I was, Satan is very real and is deceiving and manipulating everyone on the planet. Last December I finally reached out to God and He turned my whole life around. He led me to His Son Jesus Christ in Sept 2019 and I was born again. In the last year I have stopped living a sinful life and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. All of my addictions and toxic behaviors fell from my life instantly. I suddenly wanted to be a good person and I turned from all things evil. I stopped watching horror movies, I stopped listening to heavy metal, I stopped drinking and doing drugs, I stopped partying, I stopped letting toxic people into my life, I stopped swearing, I stopped lying, I stopped cheating, I stopped fornicating, I stopped taking the Lord's name in vain, I stopped being a terrible person and I started to trust in God!!! I cannot even express how much Jesus has changed my life. Praise the Lord and His power to create a child of God from being a child of the devil.
Believe on Jesus now and be set free. Salvation is a free Gift from the Lord! Turn to Him for eternal Life!
Praise Jesus, my Lord, my Savior, my King. Thank you Jesus for saving me. I love you forever. Amen.”

Religion / Re: What Happens When A Believer "Dies In Sin"? A Biblical Exposition Of What Sin Is by DonXavi(m): 3:34pm On Feb 04, 2021
jiggaz:
What Happens When A Believer “Dies In Sin”. A Biblical Exposition Of What Sin Really Is And What Jesus Did To It

A Bible Study by Prince Gabriel Okocha

One of the most common question I get asked after teaching on the wonderful gift of Salvation given to us in Christ is, “What if the believer dies in sin?”

The other formats the question usually comes in includes, “what will happen to a Christian who died in sin?”, “where will a Christian who died in sin go to?” Oftentimes, they usually expect me to say “Hell”.

While I am aware some people ask these questions with the intent of trapping you into saying something they will cherry-pick and use against you, I am also aware some do so out of the sincerity of heart, to learn the truth of God’s word. However, the question wouldn’t have even been an issue in the first place if we had taken some time to study what the Bible has to say concerning sin.

What does the Bible call sin?

There are two of them. Unfortunately, the first is where most people stop at. I implore you to not learn about the first alone but also pay enough attention to the second.

The first thing the Bible refers to as sin is wrongdoing or wrong acts. That is not rocket science. Nearly everyone knows this. The wrong acts here includes lying, cheating, stealing, idol worship, fornication etc. But that is not all there is to sin. As a matter of fact, these wrongdoings are better referred to as sins.

The second thing the Bible calls sin which is actually the main thing the sacrifice of Jesus dealt with on the cross, is the evil “nature” passed onto every man from Adam. This nature is the main thing that separated us from God, or you can say “killed us spiritually” since spiritual death is simply a separation from God. It qualified every man a sinner even without doing anything evil.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned

The sin nature is what produces the sins (the wrong acts) we see present in the world. As long as a man has not received or accepted the sacrifice of Jesus for himself personally, this nature is still very much active in him. It can drive him to do anything, all manner of evil, without remorse. It is just his nature.

Apostle Paul explains it better like this;

Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Did you notice in that verse 3 how he referred to us before encountering Christ as the Children of wrath by nature? He took time to explain that the reason we committed all manner of sins as in wrong acts, was because we had the nature of sin within us. As long as that nature was within us, we could do anything, anytime, anywhere.

Without minding what anyone would say or do.
In his prophetic explanation of the reason for Christ’s coming, John the Baptists tells us clearly “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1 :29)

What sin was he talking about? Lying, stealing or fornication? Not exactly.
He was referring to the root of sins which is sin itself, i.e the nature.

So how will Jesus take away that sin seeing that He was not born into it like every other man? How will take it away if he never had it in the first place?

On the cross Jesus willingly had His nature of righteousness stripped from Him and took upon Himself that sin nature and became “sin” or a “sinner” like every other man. Not by evil actions but by nature.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

In His death, he died bearing that sin nature in Himself for all who would believe and come to God through Him. He died and was buried with it. But in His resurrection, He resurrected a new man, with a new nature- the nature of righteousness.

This new nature of righteousness is automatically reproduced in all who receives it by Faith in His death, burial and resurrection for them. By receiving it through faith, they become qualified to be called Righteous men, even without doing any good thing at the moment. They become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

So, the major thing the Bible refers to as sin in the Bible is the nature of sin. That is what makes a man a sinner before God. As long as you don’t have this nature any more through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus, you are not a sinner anymore. You may still do some bad stuffs occasionally, but that doesn’t make you a sinner again in God’s eyes.

In the same way, you can do all the good things in the world, help the poor, pray etc as many times as you lie. As long as you have not accepted the sacrifice of Jesus for yourself, you are not a righteous man. You are a sinner in God’s eyes. If you die that way, you will perish in Hell.

So what will happen to a Christian who dies in sin (nature)?

First the Christian can never die in that state seeing that His sin nature has been taken away by Jesus according John 1:29. He has a new nature in him which is the nature of righteousness. Also if he dies committing a sin (wrongdoing), apostle John tells us his fate.

1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

That scripture is not only valid when the Christian is alive, it is valid as long as the word of God is valid. That is forever, and ever , and ever! When the Christian is present on this earth or gone.
That is what the Bible teaches. Not that he will end up in Hell even after being born again in the image of God. There is no single scripture in the Bible that supports that notion that if a sinful believer dies, he will end up in hell. If that were to be the case then everyone will end up there since there are over 613 sins that we can consciously or unconsciously commit before dying. Saying we didn’t do any of it intentionally is not a valid excuse before God. Claiming ignorance does not also work with Him.

Our only hope is His words, His sacrifice and forgiveness. At all times.
Should we then take that as a license to go on sin rampage? God forbid! Apostle Paul tells us:

Col 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Col 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him

He says “put off” all forms of wrongdoings. That is, stop them.
Why? Because you no longer have the “old man” which is the nature of sin in you. You now have the “new man” which is created in the image of God. In righteousness and true holiness.

So, for the man in Christ, the nature of sin has been dealt with once and for all, and his entire wrongdoings has been completely forgiven. This is the Gospel. This is what the Bible teaches.
I hope this blesses you! Glory to God

The Nigerian government is truly not serious in addressing the issue. I could remember reading on the pages of newspaper sometimes ago, as according to one of the victims of kidnappers, who narrated his experience to PREMIUM TIMES, he said one of the bandits told him to tell the world that the present federal government failed them because they promise jobs to Nigerians during their campaign but there's no such jobs coming....This is one of the reasons the bandits gave. There could be other underlying motives - even political, but with what I see Sheikh Gumi doing, I expect that a serious federal government should by now constitute a high-powered committee comprising of top Islamic clerics in the country to meet with willing factions of the bandits (with Sheikh Gumi leading the Committee) and see to the possibility of brokering peace in the overall and collective benefit of the Northern region. The Northern region is falling apart and at supersonic speed, and it looks we don't have a serious federal government to salvage the situation. And the man in the Villa is claiming to be from the North. What a crying shame. As a serious government they should also take the same peace initiative to Eastern region to know what their grievances are and look for a way to tackle it. But, they won't do that because they are unserious.

In continuation of his peace efforts, Sheikh Ahmad Gummi was in Zamfara State where he met with bandits and their leaders aimed at persuading them to abandon criminality and return to the path of God by respecting the sanctity of life.
Creating awareness by preaching the words of God is another means of changing behaviour. Dr. Ahmad Gummi is doing just that, despite the fact that his efforts are fraught with risks.
However, sacrifices of this nature are necessary in the face of existential threats posed by banditry. Gummi knew the risks from the beginning, but he was undaunted.
I commend his patriotism, courage and sacrifice. May God reward him abundantly for his patriotic efforts and protect him from harm and unseen hands of evil. Amin.

Is Nigeria as a Nation not practicing freedom of worship anymore or is Bauchi not part of Nigeria? Shebi this same idiots were criticizing Gov Wike Some time ago for saying River State is a Christian State, their bases of argument being that Nigeria practices Freedom of Worship hence what Wike said being unlawful. And One Lady that says she's an Activist was busy Condemning the Killing of Fulani's Cows(which am not in support by the way) Today by ESN as being unlawful bla blah blah. How come I've never heard any Northerner or Muslims Condemn the destruction of people's Goods running into Millions just because someone wants to practice Sharia. What happened to the Freedom of worship? So because you don't drink alcohol gives you the right to destroy people's business in the name of Religion? Over here in the South Muslims sometimes block the Road just cause they want to pray thereby causing Traffic everywhere ,how many times have we Christians challenged them for doing that? because by right you're not suppose to block the Road why worshipping as we Christians worship in the Church. You see Many things is really wrong with Muslims and they only tend to quote Nigerian Constitution when it Favors them and FG on the other hand always turn a blind eye to these things which is really unfair.

It is southerners that sells alcohol in the north and these good for nothing northerners are busy destroying people’s livelihoods. When a cow is killed in the south they will start foaming from the mouth. This is just one example of the imbalance in the Zoo. They keep telling you they want unity, one Nigeria and such other empty slogans yet they are busy showing you who owns the country. Foolish politicians in the south can’t say a word.

The Bauchi State Hisbah Command said it confiscated 260 crates of alcoholic drinks from hotels and night clubs.

Malam Aminu Balarabe Isah, the Permanent Commissioner in charge of Hisbah and Sharia implementation, who disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday, said it was part of its effort to enforce Sharia Islamic code.

He said 216 crates were confiscated in Misau local government area and 44 in Bauchi club and some beer parlours located in Dass park in Bauchi metropolis.

“We will continue to conduct our search to fish out perpetrators of such misdemeanors.
“We will also be seeking for a court order to destroy the items as the subsisting Sharia law implemented in 2003 prohibits sales and consumption of alcoholic drinks.

“No fewer than six operators of beer parlours were also arrested during the patrol and they would soon be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others,” he said.

He however urged the state government to hasten the appointment of the state Hisbah Board, as well as provide additional financial support to the department.

Religion / Re: 7 Reasons A Christian Should Not Take Alcohol by DonXavi(m): 11:24am On Jan 25, 2021
jesusjnr2020:
7 Reasons Why A Christian Should Not Take Alcohol

1. It is misleading and deceptive.

It has the tendency to make people become vulnerable to sin and to fall into temptations.

Proverbs 20:1 (KJV)

Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

2. It is addictive.

It's easy to say "take a little", but many who have become addicted to alcohol today didn't start by taking much. And once one becomes addicted to it, it's hard to come out of it. That's how many found themselves trapped today. So don't start what you can't finish.

Isaiah 5:22 (KJV)

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

3. It impairs people's judgment.

Isaiah 28:7 (KJV)

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

Proverbs 31:4-5 (KJV)

It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

4. It's not meant for the consecrated.

In the church or the House of God in the old testament, it was prohibited for the consecrated.

Leviticus 10:8-10 (KJV)

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,
Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

Ezekiel 44:20-21 (KJV)

Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.
Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.

If that's anything to go by, then every individual in the church or House of God of the new testament is not supposed to take alcohol, since the church ought to be a gathering of priests.

5. It does more harm than good.

Whatever benefits there were of taking alcohol, health experts advise that it's best to avoid taking alcohol at all, because it does more harm than good to one's health. It's not even a necessity to begin with, which makes it even more avoidable.

6. It's a counterfeit intoxicating spirit to the original which is the Spirit of God.

Luke 1:15 (KJV)

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

Ephesians 5:18 (KJV)

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

The above sayings show that they both have a similar function in the respect of intoxication, however alcohol is the counterfeit while the Holy Spirit is the Original. It's actually the lack of the original that makes people go for the counterfeit which is alcohol, but if e no be the Spirit of God, e no fit be like the Spirit of God. Hence the garbage that comes with taking alcohol, because it's the counterfeit and hence of inferior quality when compared to the Original which is the Holy Spirit. That's why the difference was clearly distinguished in those sayings, and the advise not to be drunk with alcohol but with the Spirit of God, because the difference is very clear. Hence every Christian ought to be filled with the Spirit of God and not alcohol. And when one has the Spirit of God, he wouldn't need alcohol for anything, because any good thing alcohol could give to him, the Spirit of God would give him more of it, and even those good things alcohol lacks and cannot give, like the power to heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, cure the lepers etc. So why would a Spirit-filled Christian want to get high on the counterfeit, when he's already got the Original in the person of the Holy Spirit?

7. It causes spiritual drowsiness.

It makes people to fall asleep and not watch as Jesus had commanded us to do, and that would be one of the reasons many would not be prepared and miss the rapture or His second coming.

Luke 21:34 (KJV)

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Matthew 24:48-51 (KJV)

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So let alcohol not be the reason you miss heaven.

God bless.
That's a good one

Exactly.

I am sure the police tortured the poor guy to get the useless confession from him. Imagine the very stupid and senseless confession;

How can such an "illiterate" superimpose a picture of the chief on a sex background? Even Hollywood film editors with sophisticated equipments would find it difficult doing such a perfect editing job.

Then the charge"defamation of character" is a farce. I am sure the guy did not employ the services of a lawyer. A lawyer newly called to the bar would destroy the case. Blackmail and extortion - yes, but defamation of character - hell no.

After viewing the actual video, I confirmed that the boy was wrongly accused and charged. If you Look in the mirror at the headboard of the bed, you will see a reflection of the old man receiving what looked like a BJ. Confirming the video was real and authentic. There was no editing anywhere.
There is something fishy here, I just watched the video and it's real. it's not picture as the accused boy confessed. I think the boy's confession and the court judgement are all staged to save the commissioner's damaged reputation.

They should not forget that ultimately power belongs to the people and that the day the people will rise to say enough is enough, no one can stop them. I am sorry for posting and sharing false information. I sincerely apologise from the depths of my heart.

The palace of the Oba of Eko was not looted as I had posted some days ago.

The videos that made the rounds of the Oba Akiolu's palace looting, vandalizing and carrying of a coffin with Dollars in it were actually doctored. Every one of them.

The supposedly Staff of office that was taken/stolen was also a doctored clip. No one stole his staff. The oba is quietly and peacefully sitting in his palace waiting for a judicial panel to be set that will look into moving his palace to the posh Banana Island.

Those videos were put out in public space to deceive and incite the indigenes of Eko against peaceful citizens.

Has BMC's BBC of debunkers been able to debunk the videos and chaos around our cities yet? Abi, Those ones are not doctored but nursed abi engineered sef?

See ehn, we can all be mad in this country.
