This is hate speech coming from a whole presidential advisor. Let me ask him; How many people were killed in 2011 when Buhari lost to Jonathan? Still Nigerians voted for Buhari in 2015. How many people including military and police men have been killed by Boko Haram and the Fula.ni bandits? With all these atrocities happening in the North, does it now mean that Northerners shouldn't contest election again in Nigeria? What's the fuss about Igbos for? There is nothing like platter of gold here, they have waited patiently and now is their time. Where is the conscience of pastor Femi? We have to show the Igbos that they are not second class citizens if truly we are committed to one Nigeria. Justice, equity and fairness is what binds a nation together, in any nation where there is lack of any of this, peace can never be sustained in that nation. 4 Likes 3 Shares |
Politics / Femi Adesin - Igbo People Calling Nigeria Zoo, Shooting Civilians, Security Agen by DonXavi(m): 1:04pm On Sep 30, 2022 |
Igbo People Calling Nigeria Zoo, Shooting Civilians, Security Agents But Want Presidency On A Platter Of Gold –Buhari’s Aide, Femi Adesina He added that the people of the South East region have not been marginalised by the Buhari-led government as claimed. Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity has condemned the rising cases of kidnapping and killings in the South-East zone. Adesina said this in an article on his official Facebook page on Thursday titled, “I Miss The South East We Used To Know. He added that the people of the South East region have not been marginalised by the Buhari-led government as claimed. The presidential spokesperson also berated those calling the country a zoo, shooting security agents and civilians but expect leadership on a platter of gold. He said, “Some people glibly say; it’s because we’ve been marginalized. Really? So, the medicine for headache is now to cut off the head? Is that not self-immolation, and cutting the nose to spite the face? And if you talk of grudges, is there no part of the country that doesn’t have its grudges? So the next thing would be to visit murder and mayhem on society, killing the very people that are allegedly being shortchanged? It doesn’t make sense. “In my days in active journalism (I return soon, mark my words), I had always written that there must be fairness and equity in how leaders emerged, particularly for the position of President. The South East, just like other parts of the country, must produce the number one citizen. But it must be by a combination of factors. Good politics, building alliances, negotiation, deft footworks. “You can’t call the country a zoo, shooting security agents and civilians to kingdom-come, and then expect leadership on a platter of gold. It’s not done anywhere in the world. Yes, there would be a President of Igbo extraction in this country, but it won’t be by intimidation or bullying. We will all team up to produce such leadership.” According to him, each time he reads about killings by gunmen in the region, he goes into the doldrums. “I get mortified by the sheer waste of precious lives, the wantonness, malevolence and viciousness of it all. And I mean killings on both sides. The innocent law enforcement agents, mowed down in cold blood, and the misguided, brainwashed gunmen, who more often than not do not get away with their evil acts. MAD. Mutual Assured Destruction. That’s what usually happens. “I then tell myself. This is not the South East we used to know. What happened? How did grace turn to disgrace? How did young men, who used to be moved, motivated by sonorous songs and choruses suddenly become bloodthirsty hounds, not distinguishing between friends and foes, good and evil? How do you claim you want to liberate a people, after first shooting them to ribbons? How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isaiah 14:12). “The South East we used to know had Voice of the Cross. Oh, what a group of gospel singers! It had Sir Warrior, Oliver De Coque, Oriental Brothers, and many others. They would sing, and inspire you, and transport your mind to nobler things. Now, the soulful tunes have given way to the staccato sound of gunfire. What went wrong? “Let Reverend Sisters in the Convents, with their white attires sing those Igbo gospel songs, and nobody could convince you that they were not angels direct from above. Let the men, old, young, play the drums and other musical instruments, sing in baritone, and heaven would come down, and glory would fill your soul. Let a preacher from the region take the pulpit, and he intersperses his sermon with heavenly songs, which the congregation would respond rapturously to. That was the South East we knew, and not the current killing fields. “On Tuesday, this week, a combined security team of soldiers and policemen was stationed at Obeagu-Amodu, along Amechi-Agbani road in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State. The security agents were the husbands of some women, fathers of some children, or they themselves were grown sons of some fathers and mothers. They had dreams, visions, even expecting Christmas soon. “They committed no crime. Rather, they were helping to keep society safe, keeping criminals at bay. Suddenly, like fiends from the bottom of hell, young men in two Lexus SUV and one Sienna Bus emerged, and opened fire on them. About three soldiers were said to have been killed, many others wounded, while the attackers themselves were shot in return, two were killed, and the others fled, with gunshot wounds. They would probably go home to die. Over what? For what reason? Futility. A pipe dream. Hundreds of such attacks have happened in the region over the past two years or so. Ironically, most of the people gunned down were indigenes of the area. Killing the same people you claim you want to liberate. It makes no sense. “The following day, at least five soldiers and a civilian were reportedly killed along the Umunze-Umunneochi road in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, by gunmen who had lay ambush for them. Madness. Sheer lunacy. “I was at a church service somewhere in the western part of the country recently. The chorus leader was obviously Igbo. It showed in his choice of songs, his intonation, and the dance steps! And could the young man sing, and dance, to boot. Nightingale. The expansive altar was not big enough a dance hall for him. At a stage, he jumped down from the elevated platform, and pirouetted round the auditorium. He carried everybody along, and we were in the Spirit, singing and dancing as if we had no other care in the world. That was an archetype of the South East we used to know. Godly, enterprising people, vigorous dancers. What then happened, that a good number of the young men are now ogres, fierce man-eating creatures, in the name of a security network? Oh, I miss the South East we used to know. “Sometime in June last year, Dr Joe Nwodo was being buried in Ukehe Nsukka area of Enugu State. I was in the team nominated to represent the President at the event. The delegation was headed by Labour and Employment Minister, Dr Chris Ngige. Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, Foreign Affairs Minister was there, Minister Sharon Ikeazor, and Senator Ita Enang, too. Come and see the armada of security convoy that led us into and out of Ukehe Nsukka from the Enugu Airport. Eight vans and buses in front, another eight behind. Filled with soldiers, mobile policemen, men of the Department of State Service (DSS), all armed to the teeth. Yes, there was a palpable sense of security, but I couldn’t help but ask myself; over what? Just because we were coming to represent the President at a burial ceremony? It wasn’t necessary, but then, if it wasn’t done, the burial that could have been done would be more than one. Why, why, why? That was not the South East we used to know,” he said. “President Muhammadu Buhari has done a lot for the country, particularly in the area of infrastructure. And no region has been left behind. Not the North, or the South, and South East particularly. Two weeks ago, we had a chronicle of great works done, and being done in that part of the country on this page. No leader ever solves all the problems in a country. He will come, do his bit, and somebody else succeeds him, and continues. History will ultimately be kind to Buhari, in that he came, he saw, and conquered to the best of resources available. “How I used to enjoy visits to South East in the past. How many times have I attended the Ezumezu (traditional homecoming) held in Igbere, in Abia State. How many Igbotonma (age grade retirement) have I attended, without looking over my shoulders. But not anymore. What has happened to our dear South East? What subsists there now is an evil wind that blows no good. May evil be defeated, and may the good old days return to all parts of our country. Amen x7,” he concluded https://saharareporters.com/2022/09/30/igbo-people-calling-nigeria-zoo-shooting-civilians-security-agents-want-presidency 2 Likes

Second Niger bridge and Rehabilitation of the Enugu international Airport that are the only projects APC federal government can show in the entire South East region for 7 years, now let us compare with Duara that is just a town in Kastina state that is found in the North West Region. The list goes down to over 25 projects in Duara alone. Not the entire North or West o. 6 Likes

Those with gullible mindset are saying that Igbos are not appreciating Buhari. How can Igbos appreciate him when he put toll to get the expenses back with profits? It is only in Igbo land they can marginalize and expect praises for what they have done differently from other regions. They should come out openly and mention other region where they are collecting toll. Hopeless government. 23 Likes 1 Share |

LOKO OWETO BRIDGE VS THE SECOND NIGER BRIDGE .. ✍️This is the 2.2km Loko-Oweto Bridge that connects Benue to Nassarawa ( Both State in the North Central)... ✍️It was done and dusted without any noise and fanfare... it is also not tolled. ✍️The Construction of this Bridge started in 2011 and was completed and delivered in 2020. This Bridge is not in any form or manner tolled . ✍️This Bridge is way longer than the Second Niger Bridge that connects the south west and south south to the south east ✍️I never saw any news in the media asking the indigenes of Benue and Nassarawa state to carry gay cows and atilogwu dance to go and thank Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari ✍️But, everyday human beings with grey matter in their cranium ( abi is it pig pooh pooh?), will always remind us to dobale before Buhari for allowing the continuation of work on the 1.6km Second Niger Bridge that will be tolled and levied ... ✍️The FGN and her private sector partners, who funded the construction of this Second Niger Bridge at an outrageously overinvoiced cost, when compared to the longer Loko -Oweto Bridge, will toll it to recover the cost of construction from us plus profit over a period of 30 years plus . ✍️Me and other Bridge users will pay for the cost of this Bridge plus margin, via tolling, despite the fact that it was done with part of the oil revenue from my Imo state and our taxes ✍️Please next time, as a southern Nigerian ( from SW, SS and SE,) before you post the picture of the uncompleted Second Niger Bridge and ask us to dobale before Buhari, take a good look at the picture of this LOKO OWETE Bridge , stare into the mirror, look at the person staring back at you... do you know who he is ? Pray4meJC:I encourage you my brother to keep going on, on that path you've chosen in prosecuting this battle, heaven has already announced your victory... I experienced all what you have narrated here. I used to dream seeing myself walking and missing my way, stranded and finding the way ahead blocked, seeing myself walking through cemetery with many tombs with dead people, climbing stairs that had blocked ends with no way to go forward, seeing myself walking through very tick darkness, seeing myself naked defecating, and sometimes in very dirty latrines, the list is endless. I thank God that you and not spiritually lost or a novice, you already have the formula for your deliverance and that is holding unto JESUS. (I did this same thing you are doing, I deleted all the worldly music I had and I stopped watching anything that did not glorified God. I took charge of my thought process and never entertained any dirty thoughts) Please, don't give God time of when you want Him to do it, just keep trusting Him, the bible says that a day is like a thousand years to our God and a thousand years is like a day to Him. If he did it for me, he will equally to it for you, he is not a partial God. His word says in Psalms 91: 14 - 16 - Because you have set your love upon me, therefore will I deliver you: I will set you on high, because you have known my name. You shall call upon me, and I will answer you: I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you, and honor you With long life will I satisfy you, and show you my salvation. Numbers 23: 19 - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? . 1 Like |

Pray4meJC:I will say that you are on the right path with the way you are going about this. Increase your night prayers, increase your fasting life, make sure you join the workforce in church, dedicate your time in working faithfully for him in a living church, God will surely take you to your place of victory. I had all these experiences you are having now and even more, I was seeing myself back in places I lived like 30 years ago and schools I attended many years ago. But I thank God that He has delivered me and given me victory over them all. |

Pray4meJC:I just want to encourage you to hold onto God stronger than anything else, sell yourself out totally to Him, that is the only solution to your problem. I passed this same thing you are passing through, even worse, but God delivered me and gave me victory over them. Let me tell you a bit of my story: I used to watch porn a lot, and I also used to be a chronic womanizer, I masturbated anytime the thought came into my head. In 2009 I started having strong wet dreams, anytime I closed my eyes I would see different women coming to make love to me, I wake up to see myself wet. These women came in different form and shapes, it got to a point that even without these women coming, I would still wake up and see myself wet. Later on it started affecting my finances. That year I travelled to the US for business, because I was into car business. I invested more than 60 thousand dollars in importing cars, the cars arrived safely, and as they were being conveyed from the port to the city in a convoy, some armed robbers gave them a chase and some of the cars fell into a ditch and got damaged. And some of the cars, while bringing them down to the East they were siezed by the Customs on the highway, they alleged that the clearing agents I used did not follow the right channel in clearing those cars legally, and that was how all my investment went down the drain. I went down to zero financially in a very short period that I could hardly eat 3 times in a month. I started having acute insomnia, I could longer sleep, I passed more than seven year without experiencing what it means to sleep at night. I was having serious nightmares, I was seeing myself eating in the dream, I was seeing myself roaming around naked, I was being attacked by different types of demonic beings, I was having dreams that I could not have words to explain. Nobody around me could understand me. The thoughts of suicide were very strong, but I resisted them. My relationship with my then fiancé who I intended to get married to ended. When all these things were happening I had already stopped masturbating, even when the thoughts came I resisted them. I deleted all the pornographic materials at my disposal. I started watching Emmanuel TV. As these demons caused me insomnia that I could not sleep at nights, I decided to be using those nights as nights of warfare prayers. I started fasting during the day and did vigil during the nights. I told the devil; you see, as you have taken away my sleep, I will use those sleepless night to battle you and your kingdom in prayers, and that was exactly what I did. I fasted everyday and did vigil for more than 7 years non stop. To cut the story short, at last God gave me victory over them, I no longer have those types of dreams, and the Lord has restored all that I lost. financially I am now better than before and I am now married to a beautiful wife with 2 beautiful and wonderful kids. What the devil thought he could use to destroy me actually drew me closer to God, right now now my relationship with God is stronger than ever. So my brother, I use my testimony to encourage you to fight on and never relent as long as Jesus is fighting by your side, your victory is sure. 1 Like |
