The Igbo's need to realize that unity is the key to obtaining development. America instead of breaking up decided to Unite and form a powerful and developed country. Nigeria is the next big power to emerge from Africa. We need all regions of the country to contribute it's qouta to hasten development. The British Empire merged us because of the diversity and potentials we have which shows we have a promising future. Biafra is not what the Igbo's should demand but presidency so they can have a sense of inclusion in the Nigerian project

What you are suggesting would have been practicable if Nigeria treated every region the same. You don't expect people to be calm and not revolt when they are being considered and treated as conquered people. You should also learn from the same America you are using as an example. America also fought a civil war but never marginalized the conquered after the war.

That's his cup of tea. Buhari's government is a reactive one, he should be proactive in his decisions and policies. All this back and forth policies do not show buhari as a leader who knows what he is doing. Trial and error is not what we need at this time.

This is a step in the right direction.
If this foundation is solidly laid and the opportunities harnessed it'll help bring out the dormant talent and skills that abound in the south east and the igbo nation in general.

It's time we stopped waiting for the Nigerian government to do anything meaningful in the south east because looking at the way the successive governments have treated the south east you'll discover that south east is being considered as a conquered territory in the Nigerian setting.

Buhari was literally speaking here about a meal a day, but because people were carried away and were not paying attention to really understand in which context Buhari was speaking, they rushed and voted him in.
