Sir Joebie... I bet you that if Rashford was the one with Kelechi-like scoring stats The Man U and EPL fanboys will swing it like a double-edge sword and put it up our throats and shove it in our faces.... looollll

Even when it comes to International goals, Nacho trumps Rashford and here they are avoiding that route also.... Hahahahahahahahaha... bunch of Wailing dollopheads...... sorry I mean wailing Red devilheads... grin

P.S: Make no mistake about it... I got no EPL or European Club... so this is not hate. I even have a few favorite players in Man utd... I said that earlier to a certain Dope or something... what is his moniker again? (will check and modify)
*modified* DopeJemi smiley

I just hate it when Euro Club apologists cannot see past their club allegiances... lol... really myopic and irritating in soccer analysis.
how far have you seen past your country's allegiance?

When he comes back and does so... una go gree?? cheesy When he was tearing up scoring stats in Europe in the EPL and the League cup and the FA Cup all with little game time una gree then? wink Confess oooo.... no lie ooo... now you making this statement... Very easy because he just dey come back from injury abi?

no wahala.... Hindsight is always the best analyst... lol

And about Zlatan and Rashford... There was no Lukaku oooo....

But now there is Lukaku and then Zlatan returns by January as United's new no.10... mehn... i will be praying for Rashford if i were you... wink
funny enough, I was in favor of iheanacho's numbers for Man City when I had an argument with Chelsea fans on their thread, I won't argue against the fact that iheanacho did so much in such little time

I do not drown my head with playing time. I am interested in quality. Rashford can have the glory. I am more interested in what Nacho does in the near future because I see his finishing quality. Even Guardiola confirms it. When Nacho plays for a side that creates chances, I expect fireworks.

I still remember arguing for Lukaku when he was in Chelsea with people criticising him. Even Chelsea fans. One even called him the worst signing Chelsea ever made. I knew him at Anderlecht. Watched him against Ajax. He was a kid then. I think still in high school. I knew he was quality.

When he got a good (note this) chance, he took it. Not all chances/playing time are good chances. It must have the right blend.
So what hasn't Rashford done or what doesn't he have in all that you have mentioned?

Loooollll... is that your problem? Starts? Ohhh because You never hear of Zlatan's return by January ba? Hahahaha... cheesy

Your new 10 Zlatan will return and I wonder if you will still sound so confident then... wink

mister I don't do bets.... but When Nacho is in his best physical condition, you will see a real player despite Leicester's not-so-inspiring style... mark this space. Hahahahahahahahaha....
when we bought Zlatan, many thought that was the end of rashford in the starting 11, fast forward to the end of last season, he was starting finals with Zlatan

I don't doubt Iheanacho's quality, there was a time I wanted him in Man Utd, but right now as it stands, Rashford is the better player until Kelechi comes back and proves otherwise

Anybody comparing Rashford with Asensio must be high on Kunu. Please go and Google Asensio vs Macedonia during one of the U21 games and tell me Rashford can even dream of such performance.

This is the hype I am talking about. Because Manchester United gives him playing time, he is the real deal since Giggs.

Allow the young man work hard for his future. Leave the hype.
I am not even on the hype train, my point is, right now, presently, rashford is the better player, nobody cares why iheanacho is not playing, nobody cares why he was on the bench for city before he got shipped out, heck! I was one of the few who wanted him to join another club so he could prove Guardiola wrong

under pellegrini, I was of the opinion that he was better than rashford, that was me calling a spade a spade, but right now, rashford has developed and still is while iheanacho on the other isn't due to maybe injuries, lack of playing time

Right now as it stands, Rashford is the better player

*yawns* I didn't even bother finishing this crap you wrote down there...

I stopped when you said "bench again"... like seriously ... this guy didn't have a preseason and in hia first game for them had an assist for the winning goal and moments later, he picks up a toe injury... wow! he only just made his first start last week against Huddersfield I think... so what is your problem? cheesy

Shakes and the club have been working so hard to get Nacho into the best physical shape and up his fitness level because of the injury and because he was behind in fitness and physical conditioning having not had a preseason... or you wanna throw that out the window?

U think the club will risk starting a player who is still building his fitness levels... na wa ooo... don't you understand some science in the beautiful game? or maybe you just watch Man Utd with some popcorn and coke and shout goals and don't give a hoot about some other aspects of the game.

He got his first start against Huddersfield.. and he played in an U-23 game before that to help build his fitness level. I personally gave Nacho a timeline of this Month end till early october to be almost ready or at 100% physically and fitness wise... So why don't you give him a break? and also try to be holistic in your views of Nacho's situation instead of just blabbing because you wanna defend your beloved Rashford... lol
I'll like you to put your money where your mouth is

iheanacho won't start as much games for Leicester City as rashford will for Man Utd

500 dollars

I am tired of long epistles

Oga, it's mostly subjective. Rankings etc. For us here we will keep ringing about the minute to goal ratio because that stat no be beans, and it supports our argument

You don't go to a Man U thread and say a damn thing about any of their special players and get away scott-free.

This is a pro-Nigeria thread. Should a Ghanian come here and say any trash about our players, he will get enough rain of abuses.

Anyone who comes here and chooses to talk down on our players should not expect a different treatment. If you really think Rashford is better you can keep that argument within yourself, else expect anything here.

Just as England holds dearly their own, we also hold dearly ours.

But let's call a spade, a spade. Iheanacho is class. He has scored more goals for Nigeria than Rashford has for England. And Rashford will most likely never win a senior international trophy. But guess who definitely will, before he hangs his boots? grin

So if you like keep using England celebrated ManU as your yardstick. Now, does it hold?
what is that international trophy kelechi will win before rashford? Nigeria's lack of quality strikers is the reason why kelechi can start for the eagles, was it not ighalo that led the line against Cameroon, fncking ighalo

in a team that has vardy, Harry Kane, Rashford still starts, in a team that has ibrahimovic, Lukaku, martial, rashford still starts but when it was just Aguero and Wilfred bony, Kelechi couldn't start

Hmmmmm... another quote on this rashford ish... seems I hurt. a lot of man Utd fans today... loll... na wa ooo.. make una calm down naa... cheesy

Last time it was Mikel that brought scores of monikers to this thread now, it is Nacho and rashford... Hahahahahahahahaha.... I see a trend... wink

Anyway....

But he made The Top 10 in the Golden boy awards last year... wink

He made the UK Telegraph's prestigious list of world's best 50 young players U-21... a list topped by Mbappe and Donnarumma.

He also makes the Top 3 of the EPL's deadliest forwards in terms of Clinical scoring ratios.

And yes I saw that interview by CR7... good for him... I didn't read or see him mention Gabby Jesus, Paul Pogba, Harry Kane, Paulo Dybala, or even Marco Veratti or Isco... does it mean they are sh**ty too? cheesy
Recall Rinaldo also said "and some others"..

Ohhh it is because he mentioned Rashford huh? Same Ronaldo who went to man mark Iheanacho himself for a last minute cornerkick for Man City in the 2015/2016 UCL semi 2nd leg in the same period that Nacho was commanding stats which made him the Deadliest and most clinical forward in Europe... lol

Oga... tell me something else.
iheanacho is so good he is playing from the bench at Leicester City, fncking Leicester City, Rashford will walk into their first team

best young talents in the world, kelechi is missing, gold boy nko, kelechi is missing, nobody calls kelechi anymore when they talk about the best young talents in the world, if you say kelechi is better than rashford then he is also better than mbappe, dembele, Asensio because these are players rashford is being compared with

Last time I checked I don't see Rashford in the top 5 even of EPL's deadliest forwards....

But that list has Gabby Jesus topping it now, Followed by Aguero... and guess who comes next? Iheanacho... oya cringe again... cheesy

Rashford better indeed... Hahahahahahahahaha.... what do you expect to hear from EPL core apologists and man Utd faithfuls? The truth? grin grin

I don't see iheanacho's name in the top 10 best young talent in the world, I don't see iheanacho's name among the nominees for the golden boy award, I didn't see iheanacho's name when Ronaldo mentioned the top 7 players in the world that can take over from him when he retires

City has made too many changes and buys recently and it will take them time to settle.

Man Utd in the last 2 seasons bought like 6 players, thats like half the number City bought in the last 2 seasons so its obvious Man utd has the more settled squad
how can an unsettled team go 7 games without losing, same point and goals with a team that's settled? how does that add up Dayokanu?

it is not a fact that it takes time to settle when you buy lots of players, neither is it a fact that that it takes lesser time to settle when you buy fewer players, Van gaal bought Di Maria, Shaw, Herrera but still wasn't settled

both teams have won the same number of games, have the same number of points, scored the same number of goals and you say one is unsettled because of the number of players they added, the stat doesn't show they are unsettled, they can't have the same numbers with a settled team and still be unsettled, is it when they start losing they will become settled? because I don't quite get your logic, if they are unsettled it should be showing in their games not the number of players they bought and right now it isn't

Man Utd has the best chance to win the league, they are favourites. I have said this before. They have the best squad, their team is young and are settled
so that Man City team isn't settled? or what are you saying, didn't they just trash a team 6nil and put 5 past Liverpool, they have the same number of points, scored the same number of goals with Man Utd but it's just Man Utd that is settled?

how so?

Yeah, that's true.

And his close control is top notch. The dribble that led to the shot the keeper pushed out just before his goal...
And the way he took the ball in his stride as if it's normal even though the return pass from Rashford was a tad too heavy.
I hope he continues like this without distractions. No Samantha or heartbreak or any other careless issues from nowhere and he will be a force to reckon with.

But what does that say about his mentality?
I think that pass was for Herrera
