Since 2017, feature phone has taken back to its feet following the rise of the smartphone. If you ever enjoyed using one in the old times, then you wouldn’t mind having another one for at least, a second phone. To make this option a lot interesting, what about a feature phone with a smart OS like the ‘KaiOS’ that offers a touch of smart features just like you have it on your Android phones.

No mean feat, this innovation has seen KaiOS silently become the world’s third most popular mobile OS, behind Android and iOS, in the space of barely a year since in it launched in 2017.

While the KaiOS may sound really strange to some people, its believed to have overtaken Apple iOS is some locations like in India, to become the second most recognizable OS after AndroidOS. It’s no wonder that MTN is looking to replicate that success by being technically the first brand to bring KaiOS to Africa. It will not be attempting this alone. Hardware partnerships have already been sealed with Chinese companies like China Mobile and Unisoc to manufacture the phone’s hardware and chipset.

The lady known as Kgomotso Christopher from South Africa is the voice that says on the network, "you have insufficient funds please recharge“ among other services offered by MTN..

Her identity was recently unveiled as many internet users were surprised to have finally linked the face to the voice which they thought was a white woman.

A resident of Lagos state is currently seeking help to recover his car after it was stolen while he was in church on October 28th.

Mr Kolade said his wife had gone to the church situated at Anthony village with the car and had parked it on the street close to their church. Two men who drove in a white car, vandalised his car and drove off with it.
Thankfully, a CCTV car installed around the area captured the moment the two elderly men stole the car.

In conversation with newsmen, Mr Gbadamosi said
My wife on the 28th of October went to our church at Anthony on Ajike Faramobi Street with my blue Toyota Corolla car, my kids and a boy that lives with me.

All doors were properly locked and all the keys in her possession. After service, I got a call from her that she couldn’t find the car where it was parked (which of course is the designated church car park in an adjoining street called Alhaja Oluwakemi Street). It was at that point that I got over and we looked at the CCTV footages. This revealed how it was stolen by these 2 elderly men most likely in their 50’s.

The Chasis no is JTDBR32E730017617. Toyota Corolla 2003 with Reg no EKY 716 EP. Checks also confirmed they have been around for about 3 hours scanning through the area before they perpetrated their evil. My wife got to church around 9:40 a.m while they had been around since 7 a.m.

A lady who escaped mishap which happened at her shop in Asaba, Delta state - has taken to social media to thank God especially at this 'crucial' time of the year.

It was gathered that a speeding driver ran a Toyota Venza car into her shop on Monday, November 12, after losing control of the vehicle. 

The impact of the accident was great that the car destroyed the shop and almost all the goods inside. The front part of the vehicle was also damaged in the process. 

The excited woman identified as Raymond Esther Ogochukwu, took to Facebook yesterday to share pictures of the accident and wrote; 

With my mouth, will I make known your faithfulness to my Generation oh Lord! This happened to my Shop but God kept me, his mercies kept me. Am grateful Oh Lord I can't keep calm any more.  Monday, November 12 2018. God is great..
