ACT 3 -SCENE 3
(Mr and Mrs Michael Noah were startle as Jeffrey dash into their sitting room)
JEFFREY- Where is your that useless daughter?
MICHAEL- Jeffrey, what is it? Why do you come to my house like a thief?
JEFFREY- Tell your useless, slowpoke, seductress daughter that...
BOSE- (fuming with indignation) hold it there Jeff.
JEFFREY- (blurted) Am not your robot. Tell her, if anything happen to Katerina, no place in this planet earth will contain her except six feet below.
MICHAEL- (confuse) Why are you threatening us? Who is Katerina?
BOSE- She is a low life...
JEFFREY- That low life has a quality of a good wife unlike your daughter who want to tie her neck to a man who doesn't want her.
BOSE- Whether you like it or not, you are going to marry her, because if you were a responsible man, she couldn't be carrying your child.
MICHAEL- What are you insinuating?
BOSE- Belinda is pregnant and he is the one responsible for it.
CURTAIN FALL
(Bruno in Oscar's office)
BRUNO- Like I was saying, I like you and your work alot. You are my role model. That is why I want your autograph.
OSCAR- Which media do you represent?
BRUNO- Yellow bell Tv station.
BRUNO- (suprise) Really! How come have never seen you broadcasting.
BRUNO- (scratch his bald head in search of word) you know, is not all of us that broadcast. Am a journalist. I bring the information for the broadcasters.
OSCAR- (nodded in understanding) I see. My story is a very boring one which I never want to tell someone but since you insist, I will go ahead.
BRUNO- (on his recorder) Thank you sir.
OSCAR- I am Oscar Noel from Blessed Trinity Orphanage. I don't know who my parent are but I know, one day, I will meet them. I will ask them why they abandon me. Perhap they have reasons. I will forgive them. The matron who took care of me said, I was brought by one Mrs Emerald, who found me on a bush path. When I was two years old, she stopped visiting me. I wish to see her and thank her for given me a second chance in life. She is the reason why I am who I am today.
BRUNO- How did you become an engineer?
OSCAR- I had faith in God. I was the most brilliant in my secondary school days. When study Oversea limited agent came and give four scholarship form to our school, the principal choose me among three other boys. I had the highest mark and so I was awarded a scholarship to study abroad.
BRUNO- Your story is really touching. You are really lucky.
OSCAR- (smile) Am lucky my mother did not abort me. That is the only reason I will forgive her.
BRUNO- Are you in a relationship?
OSCAR- It's complicated.
CURTAIN FALL

'No...' Sarah screamed. Her body belong to me. I gave her my children. She either give them back to me or I will kill her.'
'It is enough, you demon. Her body is the temple of the living God. You have no power to posses her. For what agreement had the temple of God with an idols? She is the temple of the living God. God dwells in her. I bind you in Jesus name. I command you to leave this body in Jesus name.'
'Amen.' everyone was praying fervently.
Sarah staggered about.
'I command the fire of the living God to consume you in Jesus name. Holy ghost...'
'Fire, fire, fire...' everyone responded simultaneously.
Sarah screamed and fell down. She felt like she was in a burning furnace as she crawled on the ground. Hot tears rolling down her face.
Blessed laid his hand on her and she blackout.
They sang praises to God and thank Him for delivering them.
Blessed ordered that Amy and Rachel's dread be shaved. He told them that their father would be back.
Ubong felt like a fulfilled man when Pastor Blessed said that Amy can now get married.
END OF CHAPTER 24

'I don't know. She woke up this morning and started to convulse. She does not allowed me to take her to the hospital.'
'Is okay. I will be there as soon as possible. Are you not going for the super eagle competition?' Amy asked. She did not want her mother's situation to hinder his dream career.
'I have cancelled my flight. Mother's health is more important than any other thing.'
'Please take good care of her. Am on my way.' The call went dead.
She narrated everything to them. One hour thirty minutes, they were at Oron. Amy ran and held her mother. She was speechless. Rachel and Valerie were sobbing while Ubong leaned on the wall.
Paul had a date with Inem so he wasn't at home.
Blessed stared at Sarah. She understood what she was going through. She had sacrificed herself to the demons because of Amy's refusal to take up her cup. Amy was supposed to take up her cup willingly and not by forced.
'The devil is a lair, he must not prevail.' Blessed said. 'If you know you are not strong enough in the lord, please leave us.' He said looking at everyone in the house. 'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the rulers,against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in high places.'When no one left, he continued. 'If you are ready to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, to denounce your sin, the devil, to give your spirit, soul, body and mind to Him, I want you to be on your knees.'
Valerie, Ubong, Rachel and Shalimar knelt.
'There is no love like the love of the lord. Consider the pain he went through at Gethsemene, the pain He recieved when they speared His side. Water and blood came out. The spit on Him. The gave Him vinegar to drink mingled with gall instead of water. They place a thorn on His head, blood oozed out. He carried our cross so we may gain salvation. And all He is asking is for us to forsake our sin. He is able and just to forgive us if we come to Him wholeheartedly.'
Everyone was weeping and confessing his or her sin silently.
'Lord Jesus, remember me. 2x
I don't wanna be the same again
Lord Jesus, remember me.' Daisy sang.
Everyone followed.
'Lord Jesus, here are your children. They have come to you with a concrite heart. Dear lord, you said on the cross of calvary that it is finish, that the blood which oozed out of your body will purge us of our iniquities. Lord accept them as your children, forgive their sin, create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them in Jesus name.'
'Amen.' Everyone chorus. They hugged each other as a fresh hope of salvation dawned on them. The felt renew.
'Send down you power
We pray thee o Lord
Send your holy ghost
We say amen.'
As they were singing continually, Sarah who had looked so pale like there was no life in her started coughing out blood.
Amy rushed to her but Pastor Blessed rebuked her.
'Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against wiles of the devil.'
Everyone started praying fervently.
'Stop.' Sarah rose up and screamed. Her eyes looked so red like people that puffed marijuana.
Everyone was scared except Pastor Blessed. Things like that were not new to him.
'Who are you?' Blessed commanded.
Sarah walked closer to him, so she could strangled him.
'I bind you in Jesus name. Speak up, you demons.'
Sarah stopped abruptly,s trembling. Her eyes were tightly closed. 'We are legion, progeny of the Tethys, the Greek goddess of river.'
'What are you doing in this body?
'She sacrifice herself to us to set her children free.' Said as coarse voiced from Sarah. 'I have destroy her totally. I make her in- laws hate her. I took away her husband's brain.'
'Where is her husband now?' Blessed commanded.
'He is far away. He can never get home. His brain is right here in my palm. Very soon, I will make her miserable. Her spirit, soul and body belong to me. She is mine. She can never be set free.' Sarah was sweating profusely.
Amy and Rachel were shocked to the marrow by the sudden revelation about her father whom they thought had died.
'The bible said that the devil cometh to kill, steal and to destroy but I come in the name of Jesus that they might have life and have it more abundantly.'

EMERALD- What have you gotten?
BRUNO- (give pictures to her) here, this pictures will confirm my investigation.
EMERALD- (Looking through the pictures) Who are this people?
BRUNO- This is Audrey James, Denis's girlfriend and their son. They are planning to elope with your money.
EMERALD- Am not surprise. I knew he is a cheating son of a bitch. That explain his behaviour recently. Anyway, he doesn't have right over my property anymore. He has fail woefully. I have another task for you.
BRUNO- What is that ma'am?
EMERALD- Have done many wrong things in the past, and am ready to start correcting them now before nemesis catch up with me. I had a son twenty eight years ago. I abandon him at Blessed Trinity Orphanage. His name is Oscar Neol. That is the name I fake for him. I opened an account and deposited huge amount of money for his upkeep. I personally warned the matron not to give him out for adoption no matter what. I don't know if he is still using that name.
BRUNO- I get it. There is this Oscar Neol that has been awarded a contract to repair Destiny Island bridge.
EMERALD- (suprise) Are you for real? Have you seen his autograph?
BRUNO- His autograph is all about his academic prowess and business achievement but nothing about his family.
CURTAIN FALL
(At Dbest general hospital. Katerina open her eyes. Her vision blur as tears rolled down freely)
STELLA- (console her) please dear, don't cry again. We are here for you.
KATERINA- (sobbing) where is Babra? She was like my biological mother. She save me from those cruelsmme men who abducted me. She save my life.
STELLA- Please hallucinating. Everything will be alright.
(Just then, Jeffrey walk in)
KATERINA- What are you doing here?
JEFFREY- Please Katerina, am sorry. Please listen to my side of the story.
KATERINA- Get out of here. I don't want to set my eyes on you, you traitor.
JEFFREY- (kneel down) katerina please, I know have wrong you but...
STELLA- (who has been watching the whole drama cut in) What is going on here?
KATERINA- You think you can trample on my emotions and still walk in here and talk gibberish. I hate John Benson's family. You people think because you are rich, you can do whatever you like to me. (Stella was confuse) I hate you J.J. Benson. (she wipe her tears off and walk out on them in search of her long lost family)

ACT 3- SCENE 2
(Jeffrey and Katerina in Elshadia restaurant)
KATERINA- Jeff, we have been here for more than thirty minutes, yet you haven't said anything. What is going on? Why are you being so silence? Com'on, you can confide in me. (she tap his hand) Are you here?
JEFFREY- (jerk out of his reverie) Oh... Kate.
KATERINA- (feel his skin) Are you alright? Your temperature is rising.
JEFFREY- (stutter) Am...fine kate.
KATERINA- What is it that you wanted to tell me?
JEFFREY- (smile nervously and pat her check) Oh honey! Is nothing. I just want us to spend this weekend together. I really miss you.
KATERINA- (smile) you are so sweet. I miss you too.
(They toast their wine glass and take a swig of the red wine. Belinda, who has been watching them from one end of the restaurant walk into them. Jeffrey begin to shiver)
KATERINA- Belin, what are you doing here? Come and join us.
BELINDA- Am here to tell you what your so call lover could not tell you.
KATERINA- (become curious) And what is that?
JEFFREY- Belinda, please let me handle this by myself.
KATERINA- (eyes well-up) handle what? What is going on here?
BELINDA- I can see how you have been handling it. Do you understand what it means, if this pregnancy shows without us getting married? The scandals? Everything our parent work hard for will be ruin. Their political ambition will be ruin because of your foolishness.
KATERINA- (trying to recover from the shock) What pregnancy? Jeff, tell me this is not true. ( She stare at him. Tears roll down her face)
JEFFREY- (hung his head in shame and frustration) I'm sorry. Is a mistake.
KATERINA- So is true. You were cheating on me all this while. I gave you my heart but you just decided to dump it in the dust-bin and walk away.
JEFFREY- Please allow me to explain.
KATERINA- (stand up and pick her hand bag) Explain what?
BELINDA- (cut in) That while you were waiting to consummate your love on your wedding night, he was busy showing me the most romantic experience I have never had. And the truth is, I was betroth to Jeff right from birth. So you were just a camouflage.
JEFFREY- Shut up Belinda and get out of here.
BELINDA- And if I don't, what will you do?
(Katerina could not contain the pain anymore. As she walk away, her phone ring. She pick the call)
KATERINA- hello, what is it?
(After listening to what the caller say, she scream, her phone fall down and shatter. She fall down and pass out. Jeffrey and Belinda rush her to the nearest hospital)

JEFFREY- (hold his cheek) Don't you ever dare me again. Am not a woman beater, if not, only God knows what I could have done to you. (he squeeze her hand)
BELINDA- (groan in pain) Stop it Jeff. You are hurting me.
JEFFREY- (let go of her hand) That is for underestimating me. Now drop the bomb. Am getting out of here.
BELINDA- (angry) Fine, if that is how you want it. Am pregnant Jeff. Am carrying your child.
(Jeffrey slap her. Costumers turn and watch the scene in amusement)

EMERALD- (rub her blurry eyes with the back of her hand) Oh Denis! You are back.
DENIS- (growl) let me have my breakfast
EMERALD- Oh! Give me few minutes. The table will be set.
DENIS- What! Have you lost your senses? (Emerald tremble) Of what use are you to me? You cannot give me an offspring yet you cannot prepare my breakfast. You are so useless. Barren woman.(he hiss. As he walk toward Emerald, she slap him)
EMERALD- (sob) How dare you say that to me? Am not barren. Am I? Are you not the one who asked me to do family planning because you weren't ready to have a child yet. And how many babies have I aborted because of you. Just to prove that I love you. And now you want to me to bear the burden alone by neglecting me. You are such an ingrate.
(hold his cheek) you slap me, Emerald. You are leaving this house right now.
EMERALD- You rather leave because I own this house.
DENIS- So be it. Am leaving this God forsaking house for you. Am sick and tired of your presence. (he try to leave but Emerald grab his shirt)
EMERALD- (sob) you cannot leave me like this. You did this to me. How do you expect me to survive alone? You are my only family.
DENIS- (growl) I don't care.

Jack had been pleading with Amy to forgive him.
Amy had learnt in the bible that it was not just a sin but a very big burden to hold grudge against one another. If God would forgive our sin, who are we not to forgive one another. She taught Jack about the bible and also narrated her story to him.
Jack became born-again.
Amy was supposed to meet Pastor Blessed in the church but Shalimar story made her forgot about it.
Blessed had no choice than to visit her.
Shalimar told them how her meeting with her family turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to her. she had been transformed into a wonderful woman.
Daisy announced to them that she was expecting a baby very soon.
They were celebrating when Blessed came knocking.
Shalimar opened the door and hugged him.
Amy remembered she had an appointment with him. Then, she wondered why Shalimar was hugging him.
They exchanged pleasantries.
'Meet Pastor Blessed. The man who save my life.' Shalimar said.
'Now I understand.' Amy smiled. ' he is the pastor helping me in my spiritual growth.'
'That is a coincidence.' Shalimar said.
'won't yo give your visitor a sit?' Daisy cut in.
'Oh sorry! Take a pew.' shalimar offered
'Thank you.' Blessed sat down in a brown plastic chair.
'I guess you forgot we were having an appointment today.' Blessed said to Amy.
'Oh am sorry! I totally forgot.' Amy replied.
'Can we start now?' Blessed asked.
'Off course.' Daisy replied.
He prayed before saying the topic. 'Good news to mankind.'
Before he could started preaching, Amy's phone rang. He permitted her to pick the call.
'Hi brother.' she place the phone on her ear.
'Amy, mother is dying. Come home now.' Ubong said in fret.
'Jesus Christ! What happen?' Amy jumped to her feet.
Her roommates and Blessed were startled by shrieked.

Dave is a fool for thinking suicide is the best solution to his problem. I can imagine what is soul is going now. Total damnation. Mud trying to swallow him the way Glowingscenes narrated in episode 32 of her story[SWITCHED]

Amy was confused as she stood rooted. She had never experience anything like that. Who could have believed a snake lived in her body. She had to do something or else she could forever blamed herself for causing Jack's death even if he was the one who wanted to destroy her life and tarnishing her image but what could she do? She had no controlled over the viper and Jack had suddenly stopped screaming. She kept on contemplating till she remembered a verse she read in the bible. In the of Jesus every knee must bow, every tongue must confess that Jesus is lord. But Jack had screamed Jesus but nothing happened.
'Act 19:15.' A little voiced whispered to her. Perhap it was her mind playing tricks on her but she had just got an answered to her worries. I know Jesus, I know paul but who are you? They evil spirit said to them.
'Jesus.' Amy screamed with total faith and confident.
The viper hissed aloud and turned to her. It was loosing it strenght. That name was too powerful. It had no strenght to crush Jack again. It had to un-coiled and returned to where it came from.
Amy's body.
Amy swallowed hard as the viper disappeared into her body. She rushed and shook Jack violently. He was fighting for breath. She was sure that nothing could happened to him. As she left, she dialled emergency number.
As Amy was about crossing the road, she got a glimpsed of someone hugging Inem. She thought it was Paul but he had never visited her. Before she could reached home, the man drove off. She met Inem waving in a puerile manner.
'Was that Paul?' Amy could see the excitement in Inem's eyes.
'Yes. Do you know him?' she was puzzled.
'No, I don't.' Amy sneered. 'I thought you and my brother were dating.'
Inem puckered her lips. There was no need to be bad-tempered with her. She was innocent. She thought.
'No, we are not dating. We are strictly on platonic friend zone. He makes it cleared that he was in love with someone else.'
Amy was baffled. Ubong had not introduced her to any girl. 'And who is this girl? Have you seen him with her?'
'Who else but you?' Inem snapped and walked away.
Amy was befogged. She thought Paul had given up on her. Perhap there was hope for them. After all, she had just witness a miracle that happened in the name of Jesus.
With God, nothing is impossible.

Amy comported herself. She must not allowed him to use her fear against her. She clasped her hand as she walked around Jack.
Jack pointed his gun at her. He was so befogged. He wondered what gave her the effrontery to still talked at gun point.
'you are a fool from the pit of helluvia. Shoot me, you wimp. Am already tired of life. You good for nothing psychopath.' She loose her packed dreadlock.
Jack was so provoke. No woman had ever dared him. He was about hitting her when something got his sight.
Amy had a diadem in her head and was adorned with tiara. Her energy was rising. The temperature in the room was abnormally hot.
Amy felt a new verve in her but she was fighting with it. The crown had suddenly turned to a viper.
'Jesus christ!' Jack shrieked. His gun fell from his hand. He was perspiring severely and shuddering with fear.
'Run, run for your life.' Amy managed to say.
The worst mistake Jack ever make in his life was locking themselves inside a room. Before he could unlocked the door with a shaky hand and the key falling down umpteen times, the viper coiled around him, twisting him. He screamed for help but to no availed.
Few bones cracked as he struggled for life.
