MightySparrow:Good day We haven't done it since then It's a Teaching Hospital, so the free date for us was on April 3rd. You can see the above update so far Thanks for the encouragement 🙏 |
Misternas89:Thank you so much for asking. It has not been easy time for me as I am tensed ![]() The surgery was scheduled for 3rd of April,2025, she has changed into the hospital's robe , everything is ready however her BP was really high (170 plus). The Anesthesiologist advised against the surgery due to the high blood pressure and we were referred to see a Cardiologist After seeing the Cardiologist with her ECG results , there were no anomalies. However her BP drugs was changed by the Doc. She is currently on diet to eat more of protein, veggies and fruits while reducing intake of starchy foods On 22nd if the public holiday did not affect, she will see the doctor again , if the BP is stable , then a new date for the surgery will be fixed It is down to 149 this evening she checked |

😂 I don't know why people do as if they won't die or death is contagious Most of us wear cloths left by our loved ones- Sweater wore by granny when she died, I am still wearing it till date, my mum and her siblings still wears her cloths It's someone that is a mortician - you run away from them? It's someone is Doc or nurse that were attending to the person before he or she died- they are sent to exile? Most people has bought Accident cars- probably the victim died , but car is repaired and sold out What of the hospital beds?- they keep throwing each of them away ? In one way or the other, what you are using today that was used by someone, the person may have died , that's just it I believe they are are washed and used again for another patient except if it has to do with fluids that pose risk to health , they may be discarded In my own opinion |

Hello doctors, My mother has been diagnosed with umbilical hernia. When the pain comes, it is unbearable and makes her very uncomfortable. At first, we thought it was an ulcer. After trying several medications and home treatments without relief, we took her to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor recommended an ultrasound scan. After reviewing the scan results, the doctor diagnosed her with an umbilical hernia and scheduled her for surgery to repair it. She was also diagnosed with fibroids while growing up, but due to financial constraints, she has been managing the condition without treatment. I advised her to inform the doctor about it during her consultation. After examining her, the doctor said both the hernia and fibroids could be treated in the same surgery. Her pain comes and goes, so we have advised her to rest while waiting for the surgery. I have a few questions: 1. The hospital she was diagnosed in is a general hospital, but I am taking her to a University Teaching Hospital for surgery in the coming weeks. Is this a better option or should we consider a private hospital? 2. Will there be any side effects if both the hernia is repaired and the fibroids are removed at the same time or is there anything we should expect as method for the Fibroid surgery is Hysterectomy (uterus being removed)? Thank you for your contributions. |

Knowing your HIV statues is one step in the right direction to fight and manage this virus. No matter how attractive someone may appear, it's impossible to determine their HIV or STI status with the naked eye. You can take pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) if you think you are exposed within 72hours. So this morning I got OraQuick HIV Self-test kit. The 20 minutes it took to get the results felt like an eternity. Thankfully, the test came back negative. 😂 Risk Events for HIV. 1. Unprotected sex (virginal, oral or anal) with someone whose statues is unknown 2. Multiple Sex partners 3. Shared needles or syringes 4. Shared sharp self care devices like hair clippers or nail clippers How can I reduce the risk of getting HIV? 1. Get tested for HIV. ... 2. Choose less risky sexual behaviors. ... 3. Use condoms every time you have sex. ... 4. Limit your number of sexual partners. ... 5. Talk to your health care provider about pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) if you are exposed 6. Do not share needles or other Sharp objects To use an OraQuick HIV test, you can follow these steps: 1. Read the instructions The test kit comes with detailed instructions that you should read and follow carefully. 2. Swab your gums Gently swab the flat pad on the test stick once along your upper gums and once along your lower gums. 3. Insert the swab Put the test stick into the test tube, making sure the flat pad is in the liquid. 4. Wait Wait 20–40 minutes before reading the results. The test window will turn pink for a few minutes.

Try and get the PC into Windows Recovery environment You can try the following options 1) Boot into safe mode (if that does not work) 2) uninstall both quality and feature updates(maybe an update caused it) 3) System restore ( if there's a restore point to rollback to) If all option fails Try to 1) Reset the pc with option to keep files( if that fails) 3) Reset the pc and wipe everything ( you can enslave your hard drive and back up your important files before this) And this fails Please backup your files and reinstall the Windows Then update all your pc drivers All the best |
