https://www.nairaland.com/7355662/what-duration-notice-period-resignationGood morning fam, After my resignation on 24-09-2022 which I posted here. Some faulted me for not taking my salary and leave without notice Yea I felt bad but I served in a very vital department that I had alot of their properties in my care. And the firm is known for taking up cases like this up and declaring you "missing" with your pictures all over their branches. This can tarnish one's image or even cause my new employer to dismiss me , so I had to do all neccessary documentation After my resignation The HR asked me to send my IDs, handbooks and other documents to the HQ in the East instead of the one here in Lagos where i stay I sent it accross to them , after some weeks when I called to know if they recieved it She told me that they got only the handbook and nothing else (I sealed all these together) I stood my ground and was ready to travel for this After two weeks, she admitted that they have seen every of the documents My new job took my time because I have been on training I never called to ask of my salary, when I in Dec, she assured me that they are working on it On Monday this week, I was ready to meet the MD because of this issue I called the lady again, she was ranting that i should allow them to work on my benefits and all that , I raised my voice too and told her that I only worked with them for 6 months , i really wonder what benefits she is calculating and I am ready to meet the MD because of this and that she should have it on mind that I am not forfeiting this salary for ANYTHING. She dropped the call, later the secretary called me to assure me that they are working on it Yesterday my pension account was credited I have to wait for my salary at the end of this month I will be patient till March , because she once told me that it is after 6 months I should be worried not "disturbing" her everyday Till then |
Politics › Re: Second Niger Bridge Users Will Pay Toll - FG by dosage150(m): 7:47am On Dec 22, 2022 |
Wagwanbrethren: Governments constantly run a budget deficit, at every level. So for those who might say 'how about tax' no, taxes aren't always enough.
Toll bridges are a little different. Big bridges are incredibly expensive to construct, so the builders need a way to recuperate that enormous loss of cash. Whether the bridge was built by a government, the private sector, or a partnership of the two, projects like that are only viable if they can partially pay for themselves through tolls. For example, the Ambassador Bridge (the busiest crossing on the USA_ Canada states border) is 100% privately owned, and earns the owner about $60,000,000 per year in revenue. In theory, the tolls pay for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades for the road. In practice, however, abuses occurs. Occasionally the toll money goes to projects besides the road itself. But generally the toll roads are better maintained and thus less wear and tear on.
Truth is, government has to recover part of the cost of making new highways. It must not be forever. After 10 years it should be discontinued. It depends on how construction and maintenance was financed. Every so often, the taxpayers agree to build a bridge. Other times they may object to the cost and only agree to partial funding. In that case, people using the bridge are charged a toll until the costs are paid off. In some cases, it’s never paid off. You are just mad, why is other govt infrastructures not tolled except the one in the east? |

Snapchat: The first time I saw this picture this evening was on a Messi fanpage on Facebook. The caption was nice and sweet with love-eye emoji.
I come talk say make I click the players individual account to read the comments.
On Messi's page, the comment were nice. Replies like “2 GOATs” “Idolos” with Portugal and Argentina’s flags everywhere.
Later checked Pendu’s page, my God, his fanboys are actually brainless. I saw comments like “the one on the right is the goat” “Messi is lucky” and other childish tantrums.
Even if you want to feel for Penaldo, you just can’t. Pendu deserves everything he’s going through and his asslickers will be the end of him. The way some of you reason sucks , |

naijadude7: But it is very sad. These women are the future mothers, aunties, grandmothers, etc. They will shape the next generation of men and women. We don't want future Nigerians to be professional beggars.
Now, many of these women don't even understand shame. They are totally shameless. You can't say "Hello" to a naija woman these days without her hitting you up for money. "I need cash". "I am broke". "I am struggling o". They usually start out begging indirectly, and you can only ignore them for so long before they come right out and start pestering you for dough, right left and in between. It is very irritating and annoying. It might even be OK with family members and acquaintances that you've known for a while. In many cases, you just met these grown a** women who don't even begin to understand what it means to grow up and take responsibility for their own friggin' lives. They somehow take you to be an ATM which exists only to dole out money each time they ask you. It is difficult to respect a beggar, no matter how sophisticated the beggar might look. Naija women should get their acts together, and become more dignified. Begging men for money is humiliating and shameful. Even ones that are doing well, One once told me "I feel differently happy receiving money from a man" At this point now I don't even know how many of them that really need help Chatted with one in a bus going to Island We exchanged contact Bro that night , Her gas finished |

KINGinVAHALA: This bittered and sadistic woman talks too much. If she wants to know how pathetic the police are, she should damn all consequences and come to Lagos to stage her rally or whatever at Lekki toll gate. No sane human allows the destruction of his/her home a second time, including her. She should follow them to Anambra or rather invite them to her state and let them stage the protest together. I call on the Nigeria Police, Lagos division to as a matter of fact shot to kill on sight anyone that tries to destroy either private or government properties like they did the first time. Anambra state is boiling with daily killings by unknown gunmen whom are known iPod members and whom Obi has soft spots for, none of that concerns them, it’s destroying Lagos a second time built by Tinubu that matters to them Wicked soul I wonder how devilish and dark your heart is Cos of politics you are calling for killing of your brothers Where is love in Nigeria |
