European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Man Utd Vs Spurs: Amount Of Injury Time An Insult - Sir Alex Ferguson by Dotman01(op): 10:24pm On Sep 29, 2012
obviously this baba needs to go and retire jare, He
has to accept this. United didn't
score from minute 53 to minute 94.
Any more time would'nt have
changed the outcome jor.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Man Utd Vs Spurs: Amount Of Injury Time An Insult - Sir Alex Ferguson by Dotman01(op): 10:20pm On Sep 29, 2012
Manchester United manager Sir Alex
Ferguson said the four minutes of
injury time added to his team's defeat
by Tottenham was an "insult". Clint Dempsey scored the winner as
Spurs won 3-2 to win at Old Trafford
for the first time in 23 years. Ferguson said: "It was disappointing
because the record has been fantastic. "They gave us four minutes [injury
time], that's an insult to the game. It
denies you a proper chance to win a
football match." Andre Villas Boas's side went two
goals ahead as Jan Vertonghen
scored within two minutes and Gareth
Bale added another in the first half,
before a frantic period after the break
where three goals came in two minutes. Nani reduced the deficit but a minute
later Dempsey made it 3-1 and,
although Shinji Kagawa closed the gap
once more, Spurs defended stoutly to
hang on. Ferguson told BBC Sport: "There were
six substitutions, the trainer came on,
so that's four minutes right away and
the goalkeeper must have wasted
about two or three minutes and they
took their time at every goal kick. "That's obvious to everyone today
and it's a flaw in the game that the
referee is responsible for time
keeping. It's ridiculous that it's 2012
and the referee still has control of
that." Manchester United have now lost two
of their six Premier League games, and
sit third in the table behind leaders
Chelsea and Everton. Ferguson said he was pleased with the
second half performance where
Wayne Rooney hit the post from a
free-kick, while Michael Carrick had a
header come back off the bar. But the Scot said his side paid for a
poor first-half showing where both
Vertonghen and Bale carved through
the hosts's defence. "The most important thing was the
first half," Ferguson added. "We didn't
start, we were lackadaisical and lost a
goal after two minutes, and you give
yourself an uphill fight with that
situation. "In the second half we were terrific, it
was a great performance by them, and
we were unlucky not to win it... and if
we had held the scoreline at 2-1 for a
few minutes I think we would have
won the match."

Mannylex: This man is under a curse, that needs to be broken. "yoke of poverty" in his life must be broken and destroyed by fire! Don't they have MFM there? grin
guy are u serious at all? According to you:
-he's under curse cos he's giving back to the community.
-he's under curse cos he's donating 90% of his salary for the betterment of his people.
The Uruguayan is not the first president
to donate his salary. U.S. President John
F. Kennedy, who came from wealth,
donated his salary when in office, as
did President Herbert Hoover. Hoover,
who grew up poor, decided to never accept money for public service, so he
could not be accused of corruption.

O boi. . . With this kind irrational thinking of urs. . . u really need to visit that MFM.

dirifred: with the violent interest in Nigeria for presidency, a president like this will not last an hour before he is MURDERED. If your president is this poor, will you be proud?
why not. . . . He's 'poor' by choice. The level of curroption has dropped drastically. As u can see from the news, uruguay is the 2nd least corrupt country in south america. Isnt that a great achievement?

Donates 90% of his salary, his senator wife donates part of her salary too, he has no bank account, lives in a farmhouse, drives a 'beetle' car. . . The question is, can this happen in Nigeria?

Meet the “Poorest President” in the
World – Uruguayan President José
Mujica Drives a Volkswagen Beetle
& Donates 90% of his Salary to
Charity Posted on Thursday, September 27th,
2012 at 9:26 AM By Adeola Adeyemo While our Nigerian leaders are being berated for refusing to declare their assets publicly and demanding astronomical pay rise to add to the already exorbitant allowances they receive
, the President of Uruguay, José Mujica is getting world wide recognition and respect for donating 90 percent of his earnings to charitable causes. He has earned what most people would call an enviable reputation as the “poorest,” or the “most generous,”
president in the world. His nickname, “el presidente mas pobre” translates to “poorest president”. The President said in a recent interview that the only big item he owns is his Volkswagen Beetle car, valued at $1,945 dollars (about N308,283) . He earns a salary of $ 12,500 a month (N1,981,250), but only keeps $1,250(N198,125) for himself, donating the rest to charity. He lives in a farmhouse which is under his wife’s name, Lucía Topolansky, a Senator, who also donates part of her salary. The 77 year-old who has been Uruguay’s president since March 1, 2010 told El Mundo, “I do fine with that amount; I have to do fine because there are many Uruguayans who live with much less.” It was also reported that under his stewardship, Uruguay has become known for low levels of corruption. The South American country ranks as the second least corrupt country in Latin America in Transparency International’s global corruption index. Yahoo News reported that the President has no bank accounts, no debts, and he enjoys the companionship of his dog, Manuela. When his term is over, the President hopes to rest even more peacefully in his farmhouse, along with his wife and his inseparable dog. There is something about leading by example. When you do, it becomes easier for other people to follow.

chopped of his own dreads and while we were yet to get over that, ‘I
celebrate’ crooner, Waconzy even
took his own further by not onlt
cutting off his dreads but also dyeing
his hair blonde. This one should be the most
surprising and who else would give us
this type of shock effect than the
Akpako master himself, Terry G. The
singer was seen wearing a new look
which makes him look very much like a gentle R&B singer – yes, I know,
looks don’t make singers but his
persona as a weird, ‘crazy’ and
energetic performer was sort of
attached to that old look. Tell us what you think about the new
look Terry G.

Music/RadioMay D To Join Chocolate City by Dotman01(op): 11:23pm On Sep 22, 2012
Just last month, Ile Ijo crooner, May D was unceremoniously dropped from Square records owned by pop duo Psquare and managed by their elder brother, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye. The singer himself acknowledged that much when he said the news was strange to him as he read it online like everybody else.

seems the singer has put that entire episode behind him and is set to ink a new deal with Jos based music group – Chocolate City that has artistes such as Brymo, Iceprince, Jesse Jags, MI Abaga and Pryse on its label.

The speculation increased some few hours ago when MI tweeted via his handle @MI_Abaga “It almost sounds like May D is saying… ‘As a choc boy! I go de…….’” Now, we know May D’s club hit ‘Ile Ijo’ has a line that sings ‘As a sure boy, I go de….’ was that what MI was drawing similarities with or was he letting us in on a brewing music deal between his record label and May D? Time will tell.
