afam4eva: I want to join the school of thought who believe that this project is not viable and a total waste of fund. is there a rule that says that this railway cannot extend to Abuja? Lagos is no doubt the economic and commercial capital of Nigeria but why Ibadan? What happens there? What population of Nigerians live there? I even heard someone saying that Ibadan is the largest city in west Africa. Is that now a criteria for citing a project? I will favour a Lagos-Ibadan-Abuja rail project or a Lagos-Benin-Asaba-Onitsha-Enugu than this one. The amount also sounds astronomical to me. smh.
Peeps pls dnt argue with him. He's definately insane.
afam4eva: I don't know when states like Ekiti will start getting their priorities right. Wetin concern Ekiti with technology. they should focus on Agriculture and stop fooling themselves and NIgerians.

PoliticsELECTION 2012: Nicki Minaj Denies Mitt Romney Endorsement by Dotman01(op): 7:44pm On Sep 11, 2012
Nicki Minaj is not a Mitt Romney fan after all. After some confused remarks
by Barack Obama, Minaj has made it clear that she never meant to endorse the Republican candidate for US
president. "Now I can tell my grandchildren that
the 1st black President of the United States took the time to address a Nicki Minaj question," Minaj said on Twitter. "Thank you for understanding my
creative humor & sarcasm Mr.
President, the smart ones always do." Republican rap fans had a rare moment of excitement last week,
when Minaj appeared to endorse
Romney in a new Lil Wayne song. "I'm a Republican," she spat, "Voting for
Mitt Romney/ You lazy bitches are
fucking up the economy/ Out in Miami
I be chillin' with a zombie." On Monday Obama addressed the
issue in an interview with Florida radio station Power 95.3 FM. "Yeah, I'm not sure [an endorsement is] actually what
happened," he said. "I think she had a
song on there, a little rap that said that.
But she likes to play different
characters. So I don't know what's
going on there." Indeed, Minaj is famous for her rap
personas, including Roman Zolanski,
for which her new album is named.
The lyric in question seems to be
dialogue between a Republican,
saying they will vote for Romney, and Minaj, who accuses the conservatives
of ruining the economy. "Love &
support," Minaj tweeted Obama. "I don't think [my daughters] really
listen to Nicki Minaj that much," Obama
said. "But let's face it, they are now
hipper than me. There's a certain point
where your kids get old enough
where they're hipper than you are."

He may not be the best president nigeria can offer but to a large extent he is doing better than most past presidents
gej was the worst governor, name any tangible project he executed,

But nigeria is 160million made up 250ethnic groups with different ideologies.
and am very sure all these 250 ethnic groups are LARGELY present in lagos.

u were the one that mentioned cabals.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Declines Oba’s Chieftaincy Title by Dotman01(m): 11:28am On Sep 09, 2012
centje: you'v got to stop criticising negatively. All those heap of insults isnt civil. Calling her asewo is uncalled for unless you have concrete proof.

Presidency is surrounded with alot of forces. And in nigeria case, you will have to battle with not only numerous ethnic groups but with cabal of wealthy elites. It will take more than human effort to overcome these forces. Goodluck have alot of good policies and projects. But these cabals can buy off the whole national assembly or various govt agencies and any such good policies or projects, not in their favour, will never be see the light of the day. Jst watch how oil subsidy probe is goin. Check out what is happening in privatisation of power and so on.
Am not saying fashola wont be able to rule nigeria but bn successful as a governor does not automatically mean he can do better than our past or present president.
cabals are not the one feeding themselfs with #1 billion worth of food annually.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Declines Oba’s Chieftaincy Title by Dotman01(m): 10:57am On Sep 09, 2012
centje: it's far easier to govern a state, than to govern nigeria especially as she is presently.
Hell no. . . Lagos isnt an ordinary state. A state with population more than Togo and Benin rep.

D’Banj was a Special
Guest at Ludacris’ 7th Annual Luda
Day Weekend, 2012 Posted on Thursday, September 6th,
2012 at 2:25 AM By Onos O Chris “Ludacris” Bridges kicks off his 7th annual “Luda Day weekend” this year with giving back to the community, which he says is the most gratifying component of his five day event. “Supporting our youth includes educating and empowering them about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle-responsible dating, greener communities, and healthy eating habits. Eating right and exercise promote good habits, both mentally and physically. We want to show young people that physical activity and eating well can be fun and a part of your everyday life.” The annual event shows a different side to the Grammy-winning rapper as he drops the mic and calls on his friends for a weekend full of charity and good cause… and a little (a lot of) fun. The 7th Annual LudaDay Weekend Event involved: Thursday, August 30th - “Welcome to Atlanta Dinner” Friday, August 31st - “Luda Salutes the DJs & Media Appreciation”; “The Healthy Life Styles event” which served as the launch of two new programs organized by The Ludacris Foundation including the Choose Well Campaign and the Financial Literacy Program. Saturday, September 1st – “Luda & Friends College Campus Takeover” & “LudaDay Party” Sunday, September 2nd - “Ludacris (Team Luda) vs. Kevin Hart (Team Hart)” Celebrity Basketball Game at Morehouse College, Forbes Arena. Monday, September 3rd – “Splash Waterfalls 2012 The World Famous Private Mansion Pool Party” And, D’Banj was one of the special guests. Here are some photos of D’Banj during the annual event. Also, the charity basketball game featured the likes of Kevin Hart, Pusha T, Ma$e and many more make appearances. “First of all I want to thank everybody for buying tickets to this game. We raised over $30,000 for Ludacris foundations and that goes right back in the hood and goes back to the city of Atlanta that’s been supporting me since day one.” – Ludacris
