It’s been close to four days since i heard the horrible news and saw the pictures of what happened to you, and still cannot get it off my mind and thoughts. What a world! What a life!, How cruel and how wicked.

Son, We failed you, and for this i ask that you forgive us. As a nation, we have failed you, As a people, we have failed you. As parents, we have failed you and as Neighbors, we have failed you.

We had only one job - To give you a hope and a future, but rather, you were taken away in such gruesome and callous capacity. It was our duty to keep you off such wicked and unreasonable men, but we failed at that task. It was our duty to create a world where such acts would not exist but our selfishness and greed has created a dark dark world. You deserved an opportunity to life at its fullest but you were not even given a chance to dream your own dreams.

Worse still is the fact that your ravaged, lifeless body was displayed to the world without any form of respect, placing no value on you. All focus and attention was on the killer and what he had done, rather not on you - OUR SON.

Let me take a moment to let you know that you are more than any sensational story that we will share on blogs or discuss for the first few minutes after hearing it. You’re our son and you will be remembered for what you could have become.

You were Young, Helpless and Defenseless and we failed to give you the necessary protection you deserved.

You will not be forgotten.

Many thanks for your insightful and detailed information. I have read a lot of US owners complain of the same issue as well. I will run the scan as advised and take things from there.

I am tilting towards using the car until it has to be changed rather than rebuild. Out of curiosity, I was thinking of changing the valve seals first and continue using until I change the engine, perhaps it will reduce the ridiculous oil consumption.

Your thoughts?

May I kindly solicit your assistance with regards to a vehicle I bought in April 2013.

I bought the Camry 07 after running a VIN Check on it and it came with a clean title, It had actually spent only 2 months in Nigeria at my time of purchase.

I noticed after a few months that the engine oil gets short after a couple of months depending on usage, I made enquiries and was told of several causes but was reluctant to have the engine opened.

Fast forward 15-18 months after purchase, issue persists, a small noise from the engine when running while parked. There was also a period 4 months ago when one of the plugs refuses to fire, this has since stopped though.

My question is what do I do? Some mechanics have offered to "ring" for 60k-90k, while another engine is quoted at 200k to 220k which is a lot for me right now. Engine runs quite fine actually and does not smoke, aside from when parked for a few days and smoke just last a minute or so.

Please do advise on best way out of this situation. Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

PS. I work on the island and stay on the mainland, I do 3MB daily and need a very dependable car for my commute.

Nostalgic stuff right there for me. We walked those streets back in the days, Road One, Amphi, White House, New Buka (as it was before it changed in 98/99 or there about). Time spent there are forever priceless.

I am a football lover and after a hectic week, I kick back and watch a lot of footie just like many Nigerians.

For some of us, the analysis before the game is just as juicy,that's why it's so annoying when they impose the supersports nigeria studio on us. There was a time when 210 would show the ITV analysts and 213 would show ikpeba and co.

Was watching a couple of hours ago and Andy Townsend and his team were about to start discussing RDM and Hughes, and within a blink, Chisom was on the screen.

With all due respect to the Nigerian analysts, I still believe we should be given the priviledge of choosing which we want to watch.

It could be a long shot, but I feel we can demand that they air both studios, at least we shell out 11k monthly majorly for the footie.

One thing i have to say is this, It's possible to look back at these times and moments in some months or years to come, and boldly declare that "Even though it was rough, hard and hopeless, I came out just fine".......YES it's very possible and the only way i know is through God and his Word. Cling unto him and seek comfort in him.

It most probably won't be an easy process, but you will have a reason to believe for a happy life at the end of the day. I pray for strength and grace with you.

Firstly, Noone is defending anyone or anything here, I believe this is a simple case of people giving their opinions about an issue, though with different levels of information.

I do not know if people paid to be at the venue or not, and quite frankly i don't care, But i wonder what's wrong in asking people to register for a token fee to enter venue "A", so as to encourage the use of Venues "B-Z"

If that place was free for all, One can only imagine what it would have been like, Some people have mentioned crowd management, Trust me, you have no idea, This isn't the stadium with several entrances and exit, it's simply an auditorium where a message aired around the world was being beamed.

Lastly, I don't think it's wise for any of us to emphatically say he isn't a real man of God, Wisdom simply tells you to let God decide that, but in the interim, there are people who will criticize, castigate and always see something wrong, while there are those who will listen to what the man has to say without a pre-exisiting disposition and receive benefits. As it has always been from the days of Jesus, it's left for each individual to decide which side of the divide he wishes to dwell.

Firstly, I wonder why you are so passionate about this issue, it really beats me, you really should calm down, The things of the spirit can not be comprehended by the human mind,however i am hoping these words being shared can get you to think outside the box.You said :

You have expressely stated that people go to church because of what they can get, be it healing,wealth etc. Well i will tell you categorically that i got saved over 10 yrs ago when i was hooked on drugs and on my way out of school, Yes, i needed help and ran to church, I ran to the church that i knew nothing about, I got salvation that embodies more than what led me there in the first instance.

My point, if our problems and issues are the catalysts that lead us to God, then my man, it well would be worth it. The western countries that you have mentioned are enslaved by their freedom, look around and u will realize this. Remember the words of Jesus "it will be easier for an elephant to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to see the kingdom of God"  know why, because the wealthy man has no needs, he trusts and believes in himself, Mark my words, we thrive in our frailties.

Last word, Have you noticed that you have done so much research and put so much effort only to be negative and "destructive" I don't think thats a way to live.
