Although no life was lost today as a Lagbus heading to apapa wharf lost control and rammed into a toyota forerunner SUV along barracks this morning. passengers on board had it that brake failure was the cause.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THUGS in oshodi.
Oshodi, a notorious place to be, more especially at the wrong hour.
At every crook and corner of the place, bustop, bridge etc you'll spot them. THUGS, agberos, touts and the like.
Personally I've heard so much about this place, even before I came to Lagos my very first time, but It never occurred to me that I'll cross their path someday.
It all happened during the rush hour today when we were waiting to pay for our fare to apapa via BRT when one the area boys came behind d guy in front of me and unzipped his bag and spilled d contents. I immediately alerted him and pointed at d culprit (a mistake I made) which didn't end well for him. D thug picked offence that I wrongly accused him and came for my head. I immediately left d queue when I noticed d stone in his hand coming towards me. I had to board another bus to mile 2 and then to apapa.
I wonder what would have become of me if I hadn't left that area that moment. Maybe in d hospital or something but thank God I'm back in one piece.

A piece of advice to all lagosians and first timers in Lasgidi: neva intervene into someone else's matter especially when it comes to pick pockets. You might end up being a guinea pig for the day.

Military men on rampage in my home town Amaekpu Ohafia.
Amaekpu Ohafia in Abia State is on fire as I write this. A serious reform is needed in the military.
A festival turns bloody as soldiers started flogging villagers celebrating festival in my home town.
A caller who narrated the story explained that soldiers who claimed they were blocked by masquerades while celebrating cultural festival started flogging everyone at sight. The situation went haywire as youths engaged the military and started fighting back.
A caller also claimed that the rampaging soldiers are beating both old and young as the military has taken over a peaceful community.
Asked if there is any casualty, he said that people have gone to hide and gunshots ongoing at the moment ,so its difficult to know whether there's a casualty.
Presently, a soldier has been wounded while one man daggered by a military man is said to be in a thin line between life and death.
A third caller just confirmed some number of casualties though soldiers have taken over the community, its difficult to know the exact number of persons.
Its getting out of hand.
Hope my hometown is not facing another kind of Zaria massacre.

So, I have this girl I've been dating (I want to believe) since the wee days of October last year. But that's not the problem.
Thing is this girl is boring. You might want to ask why I came to such conclusion but believe me when i say she's boring, this girl is super boring.

We live in the same city (about 1247m according to gmaps) apart and I've not been able to see her because she tells me how the people she stays with which she refers to as close relatives always questions her movement and since we're only dating its not enough for her to take excuses from them to see me.

Okay, I get it you can't see me, this chick doesn't chat with me like she is dating me, she once told me that she doesn't believe in love may be because of her experience with her ex (my assumption). She's not contributing when we're making calls, when i ask her she'll say I've said it all. I keep wondering if all I say is correct or she is not just attached to me enough to have a decent conversation with me or its the naija girls factor and how bad they are in holding conversation or she is just plain naive about everything.

Not seeing her is making me mad at her that most times we end up quarreling on whatsapp to the extent that I've discontinued the use of whatsapp as a mode of conversation.
