So, nothing on Jacob part using crooked way to claimed the Birthright he bought with Porridge? What do you mean by Birthright in the first instance.

You said Sarai was despised in her eye ba? Nothing on Sarai promoting adultery abi? I thought angel confirmed the birth of Ishmael, then why send him away even if you must pursue the woman?

If the wall of Jericho... Well, let me leave it. I am NOT questioning God. God FORBID! But I think beyond being a called a Christian... WHY Christianity? In all ramification? May I ask you, what if you were born into Hinduism or some other religion what will be your fate?

Religion / Questions For My Pastor On Christianity by Doxadious(m): 10:54am On May 24, 2020
Of late, I am finding it difficult to participate in religious activities... I am becoming intolerant of church things.. They just bore me.

I guess because I have accumulated so much questions for many years in my heart that no one has given me solid answers. For the records, I started playing piano for my church at 12... I led others... But I realised I am not settled down with some things they taught me from the Bible.

1. Story of Esau
You told me that Esau sold his BIRTH RIGHT by "begging" food from his brother. Wait. How many children, or how many of us did not beg or collect food from our house younger bro or sis while growing?

Jacob deceived his old man to steal from his brother... Yet we saw "Esau I have hated, Jacob have I loved". Even after everything, Esau still loved his brother yet his offsprings were always detested. Haba! Why Is this legally correct?

2. Ishmael Story and Sarai

And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction. ..

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. [10] Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. Genesis 21: 9 - 10

Wait.. Na Sarai ask this woman to go in with her husband. Ishmael was confirmed by angel. How, how old was Ishmael when he mock Sarai? Can't Sarai scold the child? Rather you sent him away from his inheritance... Labeled him "Egyptian".

wilderness of Beer–sheba. [15] And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. [16] And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him , and lift up her voice, and wept. [17] And God heard the voice of the lad;

You sent them away with just Bottle of water... Isn't this singular act the cause of the wahala of Islam and Christianity today? They won't let me have a Muslim girl before religion... OK.

Now is this legally correct?

3. Wall of Jericho

Wetin the wall do Isrealites You are the one going up and down causing mayhem on people in their own territories... You went round the walls 7 times! Abi how many? Why not just round it and continue your journey on the other side You attack everyone and anyone on your way... Why?

Answer me sir.

4....

Before I continue... Because I still get many to ask you... Like 30 questions.

Answer this ones.

Its unlikely to work due to:
1. Both parents are unlikely to be on the same page.
2. Religious and cultural differences.
3. You both are young and broke.
4. Peer pressure

Best decision - let her go or probably remain friends.

Good news - you are likely to find Someone like or even better than her.

Be wise.

Modified: since you have already decided to stick to her why bring it here? Smh

Well, I brought it here to hear witty opinions like this from more matured or experienced minds.

Thanks.

Epistasis:
Marriage is more than infatuations bro.
Be realistic and don't be carried away by the joy of the moment. Marrying a core Muslim won't be easy, the love will fade when challenges arise.
Think it through, all the best!

Since you can't get ago of her and if she gives in, you can practise interfaith marriage. A lot of couple are doing it and it is popular in the west where she comes from. I see problem coming from your side because your family might want to ensure that she is of similar faith to them. Have you discussed the possibility of converting her to your religion in other to smoothen and obviate this barrier in the marriage process. My point is premised on the unprecedented fluidity of religious conversions in the west in a way that doesn't happen in other places in Nigeria.

Don't ever pretend that interfaith marriage has no consequences. It is more manageable if it is what both parties bargained for and are willing to make adjustment to accommodate one another. In this way, nobody will complain of being emasculated.

Thanks for your reply

Trust you are finding ways to cope during this period. Meanwhile, I want to hear your 2 cents on this please... I really appreciate your time.

I am currently dating a Muslim lady. I have known her for about 5 years now. But we just started dating late last year. Before now, I have asked her out twice but she refused.

I am not a good narrator. In synopsis, I really love her... She has it all... I mean from character to planning, to concern, to caring, hardworking, jovial... I so much love this lady like I can't believe myself loving a lady like this. I see her and I am just happy no matter how angry I am or bothered.

She has shown her strong love for me too as well... Come see how she will be contributing and making plans together.

Now, we are scared of the big hurdle ahead of us. She is from a core Muslim background. I am from a core Christian background. To add to this, She is from the West while I am from Benin. No common grounds in both religion and ethnicity.

My friends are beginning to probe if this relationship can overcome the strong cord of family ties and religion.

I get exhausted just thinking of losing her to start another commitment again. We have asked close friends in our circles... Some of them gave support, others detested our relationship. But we are bracing up to forge ahead.

Is religion that really a stumbling block in relationship? I am open-hearted... I want to really weigh in on what I am up against.

This is a Whatsapp Chat with concerned friend giving her opinion.

Politics / Share Your Experience: INEC Ad-Hoc Staff by Doxadious(m): 11:05am On Feb 16, 2019
The experience I had wasn't funny at all. My RAC is at Govt. Technical College Ikotun for WARD 4 Alimosho. Aside from the sleeping outside, the cold and anxiety, I sustained injury under my feet currently.

At around 2am, there was a suddenly noise at the main Gates and everybody starting scampering for safety. The crowd was great running from the gate. I was half-asleep-half-awake. I jumped up and started running with the speed of light to avoid been stampeded and to avoid stories that touch.

We got tired of running, we stopped and started asking what happened. Only to find out it was a FALSE ALARM. Then, I noticed I was bleeding. Some staff have misplaced their phones in the confusion. Luckily for me, an alaja, a corp member that slept beside me helped me with my phone. It was kind of orchestrated to take people's valuables.

Among other things, the list has been manipulated. I saw my name on Thursday when the list first came out. I also got the SMS. But some people said names have been removed. A friend of mine said my name is not on the new list. However, I saw my name in the PDF with list of Poll Officials and their Polling Units with Corp Members. So I have nothing to worry about...

P.S: Training Allowance has not BEEN PAID!

Share your experience.
