And who told you cases will not be worse by January, how do you know if by January the second wave of the coronavirus won't have eaten deep in the UK or in the world in general thereby limiting students planning to go by then. Just plan your studies anytime you see fit and let those who are planning to study now to do so STENON: For those applying for student visa... Please if you are tired of staying in Nigeria, abeg make una defer till January. I won't encourage anyone to consider study plan for September/October. |

You're right, though it will be expensive than the usual mattfeuter: Student travel is essential. Visit isn’t.
Many airlines will sell tickets to students, workers and resident permit holders. |

Most schools are opening by October so it basically won't really affect international students, we just pray they won't extend it beyond this Dejavu31: Hmmm in regards to visa services I Don’t think it Will affect it because visa services resumed in India with airspace still close. Fingers crossed |

I don't think there is any bias here, a lot of people do test negative immediately from the results with no complications. I wish everything works out fine with you and I wish your results finally come out as negative. adeniyy01: Thank you baba, I was at IOM centre today for further test, we were three with the same issues. They said the results would be out in 8weeks if the result is negative. Baba, no be small coughe today oo.. they asked us to laugh to produce mucous. I pray for better outcome tho. My school resumes 5th of Oct.. am thinking of differ admission till January but I will hold on till next month end..it seems IOM people are biased to people without scholarship. I will make my deposit this Friday nd keep my fingers cross |

Why will schools send enquiry emails to banks, to enquire what, that the account is genuine or what, I don't know about your school but the schools I know of don't send anything, they just request for your statement of account and see if there are enough funds for at least 28 days, theyill issue your CAS addictiv: One major issue that causes delay in CAS is our Nigerian banks taking too long to respond to the enquiry email sent to them by the schools. Some banks don't even respond to the email at all. So I think we should also try to find out banks that respond quickly and prepare for the process using those banks. |

If the name omitted is the middle name, you shouldn't have a problem as long as the first name and last name are still there, it shouldn't be an issue BIGBENB: The name of parents and child wasn’t in full as same on parents bank details and applicant’s documents too. |

Yes I understand that there will be a transition period but understand that during the transition Period, the United Kingdom is no longer a Member State of the European Union or of the European Atomic Energy Community. As a third country, it will no longer participate in the EU’s decision-making processes. It will also no longer be represented in the EU institutions (such as the European Parliament and the EU Council of Ministers), EU agencies, offices or other EU bodies. LagosismyHome: Even though UK left EU in january 2020, there is 11 month transition period. During this 11-month period, the UK will continue to follow all of the EU's rules. So technically UK still under EU till 31 December 2020
However the original post, doesnt seem to be posted anywhere apart from punch and Sahara. I would have expected to see it on more sites . |

Even if this is true which I strongly doubt because its not available anywhere on any news site except this showing that it's a fake news, the UK has left the EU in January 2020, so this does not apply to UK. Stop spreading fake and unverified news that will cause panic please Simran94: https://www.nairaland.com/5957381/covid-19-no-entry-nigerians-americans
This is most likely going to affect students resuming school in any European country this September |

Don't know about university of Huddersfield but I can vouch for UWE, Bristol. School is top notch one of the best schools in England, however most of their programs is starting by January 2021 so you might want to think about that BIGBENB: Hello Nairalanders
Which of these two Universities and study Location is best
1. University of Huddersfield (Middlesbrough) 2. University of West England Bristol
I await your responses.
Thank you. |

femoric: Like I said, there is/are human factor in what I wrote up there. For a fact, my source is a strong person in ODBIR, but he ain't the chairman of the board, so he just doesn't have all the details. For now, I just wanna advise that everyone don't put all their eggs in one basket. Cos I learnt this portfolio was supposed to be signed by the ex governor, but he didn't reckon with it, so who knows what the current governor is up to as well okay thanks... yeah I think I agree with you cos this is taking too long. However, my source told me there would be a training for the selected candidates and not interview like you said. I don't know what form the training will take though |

femoric: Please note that the below information may also be verified.
Fact gotten about this job * The job isn't contract based, it is permanent * The Autonomy Bill for the portfolio has been signed by the Gov * For now, about 200 candidates will be absorbed. * There is going to be another interview for successful candidates * Job description - Land Use Taxation
No specific time was stated about when candidates will resume or get appointment letters.
I hope these info helps And if I may ask, how did you gather all this info, is your source verified from bir. The reason I'm asking is that I have a source from bir and some things he told me are quite different from what you wrote here |
