HealthWhen You Enter A Pharmacy!!! by Dozis(op): 7:08am On Sep 14, 2024
What you find in pharmacies are drugs and poisons not foodstuffs and groceries, a single mistake by the pharmacist can cause you your life, the pharmacist's licence and freedom.

If you have a prescription with you, please kindly hand over the prescription to the pharmacist, stop trying to make sense of what the prescriber wrote and wasting time that could be used to attend to other patients, many prescriptions are written in codes, it would be an effort in futility for you to start deciphering such codes, just hand in the prescription and let the pharmacist handle it.

A very foolish question to ask is "I hope what you're giving me is exactly what the doctor wrote?".
A patient left because he was given "Zinnat" instead of "Cefuroxime" that was written in his prescription, personally I'm tired of explaining this part, as funny as this may sound to people that understand, this is a daily occurrence in the Pharmacy, both in community and hospitals.
No pharmacist will substitute or change your prescription without the consent of the prescriber.

Some medications are Prescription Only Medications "POM" and would require you to bring a properly written prescription by a MEDICAL DOCTOR!!! emphasis on a medical doctor, please when a pharmacist tells you to bring a prescription for a particular drug, it's not because he's wicked or doesn't want to make profits by selling such drugs, it's because the laws of the land do not allow him to do so and when you come with a valid prescription, he may ask you to sign a poison register and also retain the prescription after dispensing the drugs or poison, these are in order.
A woman left because I told her I wasn't going to give her back her written prescription after dispensing Lexotan (Bromazepam), she said it's her property, that I was wicked and heartless, whether I would have done same to my elder sister if she was in her condition. I wasn't being wicked, just that I don't feel like losing my hard earned licence or going to jail because I want to satisfy her.

If you have a bike or cab waiting for you outside please go to the place you're going first and come back later when you're not in a hurry, like I said earlier, pharmacies sell or dispense drugs and poisons, these require meticulous attention to details and are not required to be dispensed in a hurry and there could be others in line before you, unless it's an emergency, please go to where you're going or use the pharmacy there.

Google is not a healthcare practitioner.

When a pharmacist is done attending to you, please kindly go to your house, avoid all those unnecessary chitchat, you're not the only one doing it, there are several others doing it too and the pharmacist is tired of all of you.

Doctors, please you should know better, your ID card or licence is not a prescription paper, please endeavour to come with one. You all know what I'm talking about.

PoliticsOhanaeze Ndigbo Lampoons Bayo Onanuga Over Protest Allegation On Peter Obi by Dozis(op): 6:39pm On Jul 22, 2024
The Igbo head organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has reduced President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on information and strategy, Chief Bayo Onanuga’s allegation on Mr. Peter Obi as Igbophobic, deep-seated hate for a Nigeria tribe and an act of uncouth repugnancy.

Onanuga had alleged that Peter Obi, the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, was responsible for the rumoured nationwide protest plot by Nigeria citizens from the month of August.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo therefore recalled that Onanugu’s allegation against Peter Obi was not the first time Onanuga showed his deep hatred for Ndigbo, recalling that the president’s aide had during last year’s presidential election also made an unapologetic ethnic slur against the Igbo.

Ohanaeze spokesman, Dr. Chiedozie Ogbonnia, in a statement he made available in Enugu, on Monday, said that Onanugu confirmed himself as a “true to type” and one who Ohanaeze Ndigbo views his bizarre dispositions towards anything Igbo as unthoughtful, loathsome, cantankerous, uncouth, repugnant, inflammable and full of deep-seated hate.

Ohanaeze informed Onanuga that Nigerians of all persuasions, North, South, East and West were in pains of diverse forms: excruciating hardships, poverty, Naira downward spiral, incessant kidnappings, banditry, farmers-herdsmen conflict, most terrifying insecurity, joblessness, rising food prices and cost of living challenges. And that the prevailing hardship in Nigeria is blind to ethnicity.

It is necessary to inform Onanuga that this is a time for the Presidency to initiate policies, programmes, activities and a body language that will appeal to or assuage the downtrodden, dispossessed, oppressed, the deprived, including Obidients.

And to also inform the Onanugas that issuing threats to masses, the hungry and angry, the vulnerable and indeed those who no longer fear any fall is the most inconceivable line of action for any government in a fragile society. In other words, instead of broadening the minds to creative thinking and welfare programs for the masses, the Onanugas are chasing rat when the house is on fire,” said Ogbonnia.

He reiterated that Ohanaeze Ndigbo had earlier this year asked all Igbo not to participate in any protest against the administration of President Bola Tinubu because anything involving Ndigbo have always been treated negatively different from other tribes in Nigeria.

When youths from other tribes of the country are involved, they are reprimanded and forgiven; but when the Igbo youths are involved they are arrested, incarcerated and even charged for serious offences. For example, the arrest and detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu generated a lot of problems for the Igbos” amongst others.

Emphatically, the current hardship in Nigeria is the comeuppance of Igbophobia. It is an unavoidable outcome of an orchestrated injustice, marginalization, callous conspiracies, corporate shenanigans and ethnic bigotry against the Igbo.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo stands on a firm wicket based on reason, history and experience, to state that there can never be peace, progress and national development when there is a deliberate government policy of injustice, tantrums and brimstones against a vibrant, capacious, resourceful, resilient and populous ethnic group such as the Igbo.”

Ogbonnia recalled that former President Olusegun Obasanjo had condemned the persistent aversion to the people of southeastern extraction, which Obasanjo described as Igbophobia.

“Obasanjo added that unless Nigeria throws its doors open to merit and full inclusion of the Igbo in national affairs, the country will continue to flounder and grope in the dark.

“Finally, the Igbo are once again requested not to join the forthcoming nationwide protest. When President Muhammadu Buhari appointed about 15 service Chiefs in Nigeria and Igbo was secluded, did the lopsided policy abate the security situation in Nigeria? And have we died? And many more…?”

We are not protesting because sell outs like Umahi said so or because Tinubu is doing a marvelous job. We are not protesting because we told Nigerians from the beginning that the fraud in Aso Rock has nothing to offer and also we are tired of being made a scapegoat which they have started already.
Northern groups are planning to protest and Ronu rascals are here spitting saliva on Igbos instead of facing the people that called for the protest.

When he was abusing Tinubu before the election you didn't also have this type of view, what has changed now?
PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri On The Culture Of Cutting Of Yam To Sell In Nigeria by Dozis: 7:01am On Jun 07, 2024
Omokri is feeding fat on people's emotions, the more comments on his post, the more he smiles to the bank with Twitter engagements money, that's why he chose Peter Obi as a target because people will always passionately defend Obi.
He's not doing all these to get in the good books of Tinubu, Tinubu rewards only his long term allies and loyalists or people that will have immediate impact in a project he's embarking on, like Wike.
Stop commenting on his post and he will fizzle away.

You said the ₦ is depreciating because we are not exporting and only importing.
During GEJ'S time parallel market was at best 300 or 400,so my question which you have shifted the goal post on is this:what was Nigeria exporting during GEJ's time that we are no longer exporting.Or did the amount of fuel Nigeria export suddenly drop after he left office?
Secondly,so since he left office Nigeria has been importing far more than was happening during his tenure? How could that be possible I ask you when the ₦ had far more value, making imports cheaper for individuals and businesses and when there were no restrictions on what could be imported during his time.
As I said I am no supporter or fan of Tinubu, but these argument being chorussed that the ₦ is depreciating because Nigeria is suddenly no longer exporting and is mainly importing,is not only nonsensical but is like what children that just entered JSS 1 would put up in a theatrical debate
I've told you that GEJ and Buhari were backing our currency with the external reserve, read it up, don't let me spoon feed you. The stoppage of this is called floating the naira which Tinubu has done.
During GEJ's time we were still exporting enough crude oil more than now.
Buhari sold crude oil in advance which means that our Forex inflow reduced significantly, you can also read it up.
The strength of your currency depends on Forex inflow and outflow, Forex inflow includes your export in which people other people are buying goods from Nigeria thereby increasing the supply of Forex into the country, diaspora remittances and FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) all these have been in decline since 2019. There has to a balance of inflow and outflow to stabilise your currency, our inflow is far lesser than our outflow because we produce virtually nothing and import virtually everything. I hope you get this and stop asking me useless questions because I've broken it down to you like a baby.

Clowns.
I am far from a Tinubu fan or believe in his competence but this argument guys like you sometimes come up with is laughable.
So when GEJ left,Nigeria crude exports declined.Gej wherein ND militants were stealing crude like there was no tomorrow and ministers were siphoning part of our export earnings into their private pockets and foreign bank accounts?
GEJ tenure when people were travelling abroad to Dubai for everything possible reason, even to buy Okrika and bags to sell and people were travelling abroad for every manner of reasons, birthdays, get together, school child enrollment, graduation, parties etc.
Funny lots
Look at yourself in the mirror very well and see the clown 🤡 that you are.
You've been fed with propaganda about GEJ government. If you are literate enough, you can check the indices of government and see that our economy was growing steadily under GEJ until the criminal Buhari came in.
Buhari and his gang of thieves stole Nigeria dry, the worst part is that he borrowed and stole what he borrowed, plunging Nigeria into the worst debt we have ever been in. Now we have another proper kleptomania that will finish the country finally.
BusinessRe: CBN Bars MFBs, Opay, Moniepoint From Registering New Customers - Gazette by Dozis: 10:23pm On Apr 29, 2024
seborrhic:
What was Nigeria exporting during GEJ and Buhari's time that saw the Naira pick at ₦650 at the parallel market?
The converse question is:did Nigeria suddenly stop exporting when Tinubu came in,to make the ₦ depreciate so bad?
No matter how you look at it,an objective person will know that at least 25% of the Naira's depreciation has been caused by speculators and hoarders, not due to any sudden loss of export and increased imports because Nigeria was even importing more during GEJ’s and Buhari's tenures when ₦ still had some reasonable value.
My only grouse is that the CBN is not doing anything about politicians, goverment officials and even government agencies that mop up the dollar, hoarding it in order to make profit from it or just store till heaven knows when
Nigeria was using her external reserve to support the exchange, that is what Tinubu said he stopped when he floated the naira.
During the time of GEJ, Nigeria was equally selling enough crude that we were seeing enough Petro dollars revenue. Go and check, Buhari has even collected advanced money for the crude we are yet to produce.
It's a simple math, you currency gains value when you have products that people are buying from you, they exchange their currency for yours, this adds value to your currency.
