International disgrace loading... Identify thief. Ebola They may not push this to front page, I have a similar thread that they refused to push to front page. https://www.nairaland.com/7806056/u.s-gives-tinubu-deadline-justify |
tete7000:I still ask you whether it is okay that they don't be Petroleum ministers and at the same time not getting enough of what God gave them? |
Facebook is still the best, connects you to real people. Twitter Abi X is a mad man's house, the hate, tribalism and childishness is too much. Instagram is okay but... Nairaland is just the definition of Nigeria, mad house of tribalism. |
tete7000:How does not giving it to them help them? Since this is the much they can get in the midst of the abundance they have, why not let them continue to have it? |
IconicR:The problem is that you lot has elevated the most corrupt and incompetent to a god status. Is Tinubu the most competent person to be president from Yoruba? The answer is big no. I was in Lagos when Tinubu was governor and I was also in Anambra when Obi was governor, I saw it all. Tinubu's few months as president has even exposed him more, there is nothing he has upstairs. |
The oil is only in the Niger Delta, they don't even own it. The north has monopolized every aspect of oil exploration in Nigeria, they own the oil blocks, they are the majority staff in NNPC and the rest. Buhari was petroleum minister for eight years and this man has the guts to say Niger Delta shouldn't be producing petroleum ministers. How do you compensate the people you have been destroying their lands since 1958? I wish oil can dry up in and maybe our senses would reset in this country. |
IconicR:Tinubu can never lace Obi's shoes in terms of achievements as governors. What are Tinubu's achievement as a governor? |
raskymonojendor:Reno Omokri is an opportunist, a stomach infrastructure politician. So you believe that anybody can just walk into Chicago State University and ask for another person's record and it would be handed over to him. Reno Omokri that has been caught lying severally. If a woman is sure of the father of her baby, she would not fret when DNA test is mentioned. He is under obligation to provide his educational credentials, the moment he made himself available to contest for a public post. He is accountable to us, his life can no longer be shrouded in mystery to the people that he claim to lead. He is our president and he must prove to us that he is qualified to be president, this is not a monkey republic. |
Nlfpmod and Mynd44, I attended University of Port Harcourt and because I have nothing to hide and it was actually me that attended the school, if anyone should go to court tomorrow and ask the court to prevail on Uniport to release evidence to show that I attended the school, I will not bother myself to even go to court to stop them, I will only file application to watch the procedure because I'm very sure that I attended the school and graduated. Clear conscience fears no accusations. |
The Court also ordered Atiku to respond to Tinubu’s argument by September 9, two weeks after Mr Tinubu’s response was anticipated. AUnited States court has set August 23 as the deadline for President Bola Tinubu to present persuasive arguments as to why Chicago State University should not be ordered to release his academic records to Atiku Abubakar, his rival in the February 25 presidential election in Nigeria. The deadline, which is contained in a court filings seen by Peoples Gazette, was imposed on August 9 by Jeffrey Gilbert, the new magistrate judge assigned to the case at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago. The Court also ordered Atiku to respond to Tinubu’s argument by September 9, two weeks after Mr Tinubu’s response was anticipated. According to the report, the timeline shows the court is racing to rule on the matter before September 21, when Nigeria’s election petitions tribunal will likely deliver its judgement in the suit challenging Tinubu’s election victory. Atiku and Peter Obi of the Labour Party and their parties had filed petitions to challenge the outcome of the presidential election. On July 11, Atiku also filed the petition seeking to obtain further details of Tinubu’s academic records at the Chicago State University. Documents sought by Atiku, through his counsel, Angela M. Liu, include record of his admission and acceptance at the university, dates of attendance including degrees, awards and honours attained by Tinubu at the university. Atiku informed the court that Tinubu subpoena was to test the truth and veracity of Mr. Tinubu’s assertions, adding that he is currently Nigeria's President and facing various court proceedings concerning his election and the authenticity of documents relating to his attendance at Chicago State University. But Tinubu has filed a motion to prevent the school from disclosing his educational records. Tinubu’s counsel, Victor P. Henderson, asked the court to strike it out as no judge of the court heard and granted Atiku the subpoena. He contends that the petition was invalid for providing only six days for compliance, which was less than 14 days provided under Rules 219 and 137 of the Illinois Supreme Court Rules. He said Atiku engaged himself in an “improper fishing expedition about a foreign public official utilising the Illinois court’s subpoena power.” Source: https://saharareporters.com/2023/08/16/us-gives-tinubu-deadline-justify-why-chicago-university-records-should-not-be-released |

maasoap:African leaders should sit up and make coup less attractive, if the leaders are not looters, the citizens would support them against coup d'etat. Check everywhere that there had been recent coup, the citizens are always in full support. |

There is a thread on the front page on torn rectal muscle known as anal fissure and there are so many ignorant comments there and I wish to correct some things, hence this thread. Overview An anal fissure is a small tear in the thin, moist tissue that lines the anus. The anus is the muscular opening at the end of the digestive tract where stool exits the body. Common causes of an anal fissure include constipation and straining or passing hard or large stools during a bowel movement. Anal fissures typically cause pain and bleeding with bowel movements. You also may experience spasms in the ring of muscle at the end of your anus, called the anal sphincter. Anal fissures are very common in young infants but can affect people of any age. Most anal fissures get better with simple treatments, such as increased fiber intake or soaking in a warm-water bath. Some people with anal fissures may need medicine or, occasionally, surgery. Symptoms Symptoms of an anal fissure include: Pain during bowel movements. Pain after bowel movements that can last up to several hours. Bright red blood on the stool or toilet paper after a bowel movement. A visible crack in the skin around the anus. A small lump or skin tag on the skin near the anal fissure. When to see a doctor See your health care provider if you have pain during bowel movements or notice blood on stools or toilet paper after a bowel movement. Causes Common causes of anal fissures include: Passing large or hard stools. Constipation and straining during bowel movements. Long-lasting diarrhea. Anal intercourse. Childbirth. Less common causes of anal fissures include: Crohn's disease or another inflammatory bowel disease. Anal cancer. HIV. Tuberculosis. Syphilis. Risk factors Factors that may increase your risk of developing an anal fissure include: Constipation. Straining during bowel movements and passing hard stools increase the risk of tearing. Childbirth. Anal fissures are more common in women after they give birth. Crohn's disease. This inflammatory bowel disease causes chronic inflammation of the intestinal tract. This may make the lining of the anal canal more vulnerable to tearing. Anal intercourse. Age. Anal fissures can occur at any age, but are more common in infants and middle-aged adults. Complications Complications of an anal fissure may include: Failure to heal. An anal fissure that fails to heal within eight weeks is considered chronic and may need further treatment. Recurrence. Once you've experienced an anal fissure, you are prone to having another one. A tear that extends to surrounding muscles. An anal fissure may extend into the ring of muscle that holds your anus closed. This muscle is called the internal anal sphincter. If this happens, it makes it more difficult for your anal fissure to heal. An unhealed fissure may trigger a cycle of discomfort that may require medicines or surgery to reduce the pain and to repair or remove the fissure. Prevention You may be able to prevent an anal fissure by taking measures to prevent constipation or diarrhea. Eat high-fiber foods, drink fluids, and exercise regularly to keep from having to strain during bowel movements. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/anal-fissure/symptoms-causes/syc-20351424#:~:text=Overview,stools%20during%20a%20bowel%20movement. |
DonroxyII:See this olodo, like Tinubu like supporter. Between 2003 and 2011, Nigeria contributed $918.7 million (N138 billion) to the running of the Community, followed at a distance by Ghana at $225.7 million (N34 billion), and Cote D’Ivoire at $107.5 million (N16.1 billion). For years, Nigeria’s funding to the 15-member body stood at three to six times what other nations contributed. That ratio rose recently to over 60 percent of ECOWAS’ total revenues, with the introduction of community levies, according to data showing annual state-wide contributions. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/118585-nigeria-ecowas-largest-donor-continually-outsmarted-by-smaller-west-african-countries.html?tztc=1 ECOWAS is going to war that is largely funded by Nigeria. Your ignorant self doesn't know that Nigeria houses ECOWAS and a point even threatened to stop funding the commission. |
The West African proxy war, Russia vs West in our own soil. If France wants to fight Russia let them do that on their own soil not on West African soil. Ebola Tinubu is the catalyst. Why not leave Niger alone. What is the economic importance of this war? civilians and soldiers are going to die in another man's war and the idiots in Abuja will continue to feed fat on the blood and sweat of the nation. |
African leaders are bereft of ideas, that's why we will always be exploited. It's only Africans that can develop Africa not West or East. We were "okay" until we had Buhari, he borrowed Nigerian future into oblivion, he was wasteful and unintelligent, the corruption they said he came to fight was worse than ever in his government. His ministers had free rein and stole whatever they borrowed. Ahmed Lawan was there to approve every loan he asked for and now we are so broke. The new president, instead of cutting cost of governance is proposing a bloated cabinet of Ali Baba and 47 thieves just to settle his political elites and in three months we've see that the master strategist is equally clueless. They tell us to bear for a while and move in convoy of tens of cars and senators share a 'little token' for their holidays. The citizens are the worst and I have no pity for the suffering masses because in the next four years they will go and vote based on ethnicity and religious divide, they will vote people that have weaponised poverty, religion and tribe. Those boys in my street that argued non stop that they are standing on his mandate are all sitting down on hard benches with empty stomach now, I still have my salary even though the purchasing power has reduced but no matter the economy of the jungle, the lion can never eat grass. Next four years, vote another fossil brain and we will continue to suffer it, all of us with no exception. |

JobNeededUrgent:Just do normal registration like anyone, as soon as you submit it, they will tell you that you have been exempted. |
NairalandSARS:A very useless school, everything just hard for them to do. They said they will upload today or tomorrow. I graduated since 2014, saw no need to serve but I mobilised this batch to collect exemption letter. |
Timmi:Which past president is worst than Buhari? Even the past military leaders were far better. I didn't vote for Tinubu by he's here now and I believe that the worst of him will be better than the dullard that just left Aso rock |
tesppidd:Just watch, the blood shed under his watch is coming for him |
Timmi:Shut up, enablers of corruption and bad governance. Of what good is applauding a man that left a country worse than he met it. |
I'm particularly happy with the creation of the taskforce to clean Umuahịa and Aba, it's a noble step in the right direction. Ferdinand Ekeoma's appointment as special adviser on media and publicity is not a surprise, the guy has always been the mouth piece of his excellency over the years and he's good at it. It's morning in Abịa.

For destroying this country, nemesis and karma will always know his address. Under Buhari over 60,000 persons were killed when Nigeria is not at war. The economy is dead as we know it Dollar is ₦800. Under his watch, companies left Nigeria in droves, youths migrated like a flock of birds. He has borrowed more than all government put together since 1960. Nepotism was highest, he killed federal character in the appointment of government officials Buhari ran the most corrupt government ever. The man's on agenda was Fulani supremacy. May history never be kind to him. |
