The Management of St Joseph Hospital Adazi Nnukwu, Anaocha LGA in Anambra State, has come out to dissociate itself from rumours making waves that a patient suspected to show suspected symptoms of covid 19 absconded from the Hospital and whereabouts unknown.

According to the hospital's administrator, Rev Fr Jerome Okafor, the patient came in for some cardiovascular problem, but his persistent coughing out blood and high temperature aroused the curiosity of some nurses attending to him.

His blood sample was finally collected after some persistent appeals to NCDC who could not respond immediately, but through the direct intervention of the Chief Medical Director of Chukwu Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital whom some delegation from the hospital where sent after.

According to Fr Jerome, the patient was discharged against medical advice, paid his bills and left.

A TRUE SERVANT LEADER WORTHY OF MORE TRUSTS AND ACCOLADES.

Ever since he took saddle as the Hon. Commissioner for Health Anambra State, Dr Vin Okpala continue to paint the picture of a hardworking, serious minded health official, leaving no stone unturned in providing assesible health care delivery services to Ndi Anambra, especially those affected by natural disasters in our rural communities.

The zeal and dedication he attaches to his assignments is being felt tremendously in our health sector, were flood and fire disaster victims can attest to his prompt response in emergency situations, were he provides them succor, with relief materials and consolations.

What sets Dr Vin Okpala apart from other public officials, is that he prefers to be at the forefront, coordinating relief and emergency activities unlike sitting in the cozy confines of the office and issuing orders. He insists on feeling what the people felt, being present in that harsh environments that has caused them much grief.

The soft spoken, calm and calculated medical practitioner, with many years of experience in emergency services as his area of expertise, is the best among equals. A visionary, motivator, and team player, Dr Opkala is among the best hands in this present administration, working for the good and benefit of all, proponents and opponents as well.

A walk to his office will leave the visitor impressed with his decorum, understanding, and empathy towards the plight of the underprivilegedes.

In a short while, Dr Vin Okpala has already paid his dues in the service of our dear state, taking the health ministry to an enviable height of Ideas, Innovations, Responsibilities and a Successful Management of our State health apparatus.
