On the issue of food, I've visited the mami for about 2 times in two different stands and their food doesn't exceed 200 naira a plate. But am not certain if its the same with other sellers, but it has to be the same. Maybe additional contents (you know what I mean) might increase the price. You can get a good plate of food for nothing more than 200naira.

My dear, don't bother yourself by coming with those things. You don't need them at all. Just come early and be very smart during the registrations and in general. The camp is very very ok.

You know there's nothing like perfection. Though there's water but the its rarely enough. So the secret is as early as possible, you should try and fetch your water or to always fetch after using the one you have; possibly a night before the next day/morning. You would be surprised that people wake up as early as 4am to get water.
We had light non-stop in the night till this morning. If you have a power bank pls bring it along. I use it too. Let's hope it gets better with time.

Well, since its on health challenge, why don't you try and get a very good medical and doctor's report from a recognized hospital; while coming to camp. There will surely be an avenue for those with health challenge/Marital issue to submit their report. Get the report first. You'll definitely see officials to present the report to.

While in the morning parade, few guys were cautioned. Some wore shorter shots while some others where putting on the 'three quarter shot' that is above the knee. As regards to shots with extra pockets, I believe its allowed as long as its not above the knees.

We are yet to hear from any other stream 1 members, pls your own side of the updates and advice would be appreciated too. Is there any case of seized items, like mugs and I heard from someone that they sieze extensions, how true is dat? Erm...we wont mind if you upload pics of how u look like as fresh otondos. I learnt from d gen house that without pics, its adonbelieveit. Good night house especially those peeping...lol.

Lol. Anyway, they seize items they feel isn't necessary. My steplar was seized from the gate after searching my bag, but to be collected when leaving on the last day in camp.

Thanks. Sorry i've been unable to reply your mention.
The truth is, registration is definitely going to be stressful depending on the crowd/population. Standing on a long curved and zig zag queue esp if checking starts outside the gate. That's why one needs to be at the camp very early if possible a day before in other to do your early/quickly when it starts.
Your statement of result, call up letter (original) and I.d are the three major things to present during the first stage of clearance. Next, you'll proceed straight with your returned signed call up letter to the ICT section where you'll thumb print and a new printed slip will be given to you which contains your state code, platoon etc.
Finally, you'll now have to locate your platoon. 4 passports, Call up letter, Green card (both original), printed slip, about 2 photocopies of your statement of result, 1 copy of your call up letter & green card. You can still ask them questions esp on the doc to bring. Do the necessary documentations and your kits will be issued to you immediately. Don't waste so much money making so many photocopies. We used just a maximum of 2 photocopies of each documents in the platoon section. In case of miscellaneous, you can do not more than 5 unless otherwise. That's how the reg was done.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any question that needs clarification. Stream 1 guys, you can still add yours or make any correction where necessary.

Just by seeing the large crowd during registration, one would think that everybody in stream 1 has arrived; but no! So many corp members were still trooping in during the registration.
Our fellow guys in stream 2, try to be in camp early to avoid some unnecessary delays during the registrations and to even see someone to exchange their over sized and undersized kits (especially the tennis and jungle boots with. Am yet to see someone to exchange my over sized jungle boot.

Hey guys, pls be mindful of the weight or number of luggages you are coming with. Cos the kind of exercise we just did this morning......wasn't funny. Moving us from one position to another all with your bags/boxes. Registration is about to begin now and everybody is on the queue. If you're still on the way, pls hurry up.

Wow, thank God for journey mercy granted to me to ogun state nysc camp. Its really a nice place. From what I've seen since I arrived, the camp is cool. Well tiled from the gate down to the individual hostels. Mami market is on-going. After checking you (your call-up letter and luggage(s)) from the gate, you head straight to where you'll be given a bed and then locate your hostel and a bed stand. Registration starts tomorrow. I will stop here for now. Wishing other stream one members on their way a safe trip. Warm regards
