Saw this somewhere and decided to share it here. Just for the fun of it and don't take it too personal.
If you were to be posted to a State or State capital which starts with the first letter of your name or surname, which state will it be? Mine will be either, Bayelsa, Bauchi, Benue or Borno. Lol. If the first letter of your name or surname doesn't match any of the state or capital we have in Nigeria, then you'll be posted to Maiduguri, Yobe or Adamawa!!! thank u very much for ur responds, the person in question graduated since 2011 when she was 28 but refused to serve due to some activities, but now she has decided to serve now with A15, she was mobilized last year but she was so busy with some programs and couldn't make it. Thanks for ur respond.

Exemption or overage from National Youth Service is determined by the age you entered during your year one registration. What it means is that if you are 25years in year one and you are expected to graduate at 29 in a 4year course. That status quo maintains whether unforseen circumstances of strike or extra year that might turn you above 30. The age you entered during your first year in school is all that matters.

Yes. To make a little bit clearer, let's do it this way. Both ways you stated are basically the same thing. Exemption actually is when one is 30yrs and above as at time of graduating/when one is (at least) 30yrs as at when being mobilized. A person may graduate at the age of 29yrs but due to delays of any sort, he/she might eventually hit the 30yrs mark before mobilization which now makes him/her to be exempted. Simply put, as long as you've not clocked 30yrs while waiting for mobilization. Let's use A15 for instance, as long as he/she has not reached 30 on or before march/february (depending when mobilization starts.

Yes you can. First it depends on when you concluded your final exam(s) and when the result will be ready; and when your school's senate will seat for approval. Make SURE you don't relent. DISTURB/FOLLOW-UP your department so that your result will be ready and sent to the senate early enough. If these things are done on-TIME, I believe your name should be among those to be sent to your DSA for further mobilization status. I repeat, never you relax until you have achieved your goal there.

i don't think you have to re register online again. A vast number of us here did that and also printed our slip while we were hopefully waiting for C14; the previous one you did will certainly be used for next A15 batch whenever the site re opens. The most important thing is you've done the registration successfully. We'll all carry ourselves along ok.
