Just got admitted into IPAN, looking forward in being a public analyst ,also have a certification on QA/QC you could kick off from there if you don't have any certification. SAP in quality management isn't a bad idea too since most company are now into it.

my dear pls can you elaborate more on it. I'm also a graduate of microbiology and will be going for service next month. I'll like to know what and what is needed to work in such and related industries, and also a good professional certification/course i can do during my service year to be an extra boost to me. Also, what skill(s) can one work & develop during this period for these industries. Thanks in anticipation. Hoping to learn from you all.

I have 2.1 in Mechanical Engineering. I was part of a team ( as a fitter operator) that fabricated, welded and installed glucose line, malt line, hot water and cold water line, steam line, skids, and other heat exchangers in Cadbury Nigeria PLC.
I finished service last year October and I must confess, it's not easy as I thought it would be. My believe when I was about completing the NYSC was that I would get a job before the end of last year but I was wrong.
My focus is not actually getting a job with huge salary right now, but in getting a job to keep my body and soul together, and also provide me with the needed PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE that will avail me the opportunity to negotiate for a juicy salary.

I feel it depends on the duration you would like to use it. Some buy mainly for the three weeks orientation, while some others buy with the intention of still using it after camp (Service year). I suggest fred frank Tees will be a better, thicker quality that will hardly slack.

Initially the 3k was optional but from recent info from those who registered not quite long, complained that they can't proceed further in printing their green card without making the payment. Its obvious that one has to pay in order to complete their registration.

I also registered with C14, but I had to re-register afresh after I tried login in but it showed invalid. Hope you've seen your name on the nysc senate approved list.

No you can't be mobilized without a valid Jamb number. With the recent changes in the nysc mobilization procedure, a valid/regularized jamb number is vital for any prospective corp member before you can even do the compulsory online registration.

Mine went well and stress free. Though i had to register afresh since my email displayed 'invalid' yesterday. I didn't receive my call-up no. by sms, I had to log in to my account this evening and saw it on my dashboard.

login to your account, i guess it should be there. I experienced the same thing after i registered since noon today, waiting for the sms only to login to my account this evening to find it there. I suggest you do the same. Hope this helps.

I actually thought about supplying my then email and password since my profile is already on nysc archive but it displayed invalid.

So i was left with the register as a fresh option. I opted to register as afresh and it all went smoothly. I took a passport with white background, i have my signature scanned, i actually made the payment when the system pops out the message to do so, that was before i printed my green card.


After the registration, i was still chilling with oliver and mayorsweet when i got my mobilisation number, that was like two hours after the scene.

Just got off the phone with one of the officials and it was reaffirmed that you need not register again if you've registered during C'14. Just login with the email and the password you used while registering back then. You will see a link to print your green card from the dash board. If you can not sign into your account due to one reason or another, proceed to the senate approved list to see if your matric number is in use or not. If its not in use, please register again. But, if you can't access your the portal and the matric number is also in use, shoot Sidmach Tech an email (nyscsupport@sidmach.com). They will send a reset password link to your email... This is to enable you print your green card.

I would advice that y'all go back to the senate approved list to see the status of the matric number. If its not in use, please go ahead and register again. Though, you may have to let go of the 4k you paid before. I just want everyone to be on the safe side.

Yes, according to the boss that's what we should do esp now that its showing 'Matric no. not in use'. From what I can see, a lot of us who registered previously have that 'matric no. not' in use showing on the database.

There is no way the portal will accept your email address or matric number/jamb reg twice. If you re-register, the 4k you paid from the last batch is gone. That email part was our major concern but he (the nysc official) still insisted that we'll have to re register. Though, I skipped the payment part of it and then completed the registration successfully and even printed a form/slip. That also reminds me, he said its only those who were mobilized/got their call up online but didn't go and those who did the online reg with C14 and paid the 4K are those to revalidate. Boss, Pls still confirm. And to all who attended their respective institution's briefing, what was their response as regards to this issue cos I believe some of you had similar issue.
