I'm not a huge fan of money heist, but please don't wake up one day and compare Arrow, Flash and the ridiculous Lucifer to money heist they don't come close. (in term of popularity). Money heist has trended on Twitter since the very first day it was released till this very day. The last show that did that was the witcher. I use Twitter alot, and I can't remember at any point where lucifer, flash or arrow was trending for weeks on end or a major discussion on Twitter, or had any major impact on social media like money heist does. some of you are so quick to down play it and call It a telenovela simply because they spoke Spanish. That an obvious prejudice against the TV show. Some of you need to get over your high horse and stop tagging every Spanish speaking tv series a telenovela and melodramatic. Money heist isn't the best show out there, infact I think the show is full of unforgivable plotholes,like that scene where Gandia manage to escape after killing Nairobi while they all had assault rifle pointed at him and shot at him, somehow he still manage to escape. But we can't denial the show has been entertaining so far and has manage to keep viewers glued because of the suspense and antics in the show. Yeah the show has been dragged on for far too long and should have ended in season 3, but all said and done these TV network are in the business of making money and they would do all they can to have viewers subscribe to their service and to bring money in.if season 5 get released, it would still have the same impact, simply because the show is entertaining and already has a massive cult following and bring money in. Even HBO is already consider a season 2 of the Outsider because of the impressive following it had and how well it did. Please let be guided.

Tbh I don't know what the hype on this Lucifer is all about oo. The series bore me to death. Just the way Lucifer behaves alone irritates me like fukk, behaving like arindin, slowpoke.
I had a complete season 4 on my system for the whole of a semester and couldn't finish it. Initially I wanted to try and finish it to see if I could fall in love with it along the way but I had to delete it cos I can't force what I don't enjoy on myself.

90 percent of Twitter trends were about Christmas, in UK there was a trend about the Queen's Christmas speech in England trends, on boxing day,
In the US, there was a weird trend in the US about being glad Christmas is over
No sign of Witcher anywhere
That doesn't mean it isn't popular but when you release a popular show at once like Netflix does, people immediately watch it and the trends dies in days, same happened to stranger things.
Doesn't mean it isn't popular or good, when ever one has watched it and freaked out, they calm down and the world moves on.
As for flash, the only time it trended on Twitter was the next episode after the crisis on infinite earths episode
For arrow, it trended then too, And when the day the show ended.

How do you tell which trends are solely about the Netflix series? I mean it's the same characters. So apart from news that will be specific, the trend could basically involve both book, game and series.

I'm a programmer who speaks multiple programming language I know how apps work
I spend lots of time in a trend looking at an average of over 100 tweets and before I move to another if I choose not to be a part of the trend
So yes I can tell when the trend isn't what we thought it was
I stay on trends so long that I start to see tweets that has being tweeted for weeks

I don't think anyone's disputing it's popularity in Spain, I mean it's a Spanish series for one thing. But it's not really as worldwide popular as folks here are making it out to be. It has a great following from a lot of countries, mostly in South America and Southern Europe. But it's really not as travelled as most of the best series of the last decade.

There's a difference between being popular and being the best show
MH is a mega hit in Spanish speaking countries
It then is a mega super hit in other regions too
Europe, Africa, south America
You name it
You can't say MH is better than BB, but it has a much much larger fan base.

The hype And demand is so high real that millions of people watched it hours after it came out and it trended world wide
There is no MH fan that hasn't watched season 4 now
It's a Netflix series, even the Witcher, sex education, you, on my block, and stranger things all trended for a couple of days
That's what happens when you release all your episodes at once

Damn, this is a comedy GOLD, from start to finish no relent. Hardcore R rated comedy at its peak, gives no sh1t about the violence too. DC Universe killing it.
The thing I love the most about it is that almost all the main characters and even most side characters are top notch engaging and entertaining to watch.

You don't get about 2-3 characters who are well developed but got about 10 characters! With solid personality devt and being individually funny and unique in their own way.
