They are even popular than half the list of series I put out there. They've got millions of fans watching those shows worldwide despite it's

Bad decisions with the intent of making one? Because it wasn't an accident. Palermo knew he was making bad decisions, he wanted to destroy and sabotage the plan, which made his actions unbelievable and impossible in the real sense of it.

The season 4 should have been named "the chronicles of gandi" because calling a truce made the police useless, no pressure whatsoever by the police from start to end to get them out of the bank of Spain. It was only Gandi the gateman that gave them a tough time

1.)You weren't shocked that after Nairobi recovered, she got killed?
If so, I must commend you
You have one hell of a sense of predicting events, cause even I didn't see that coming
I saw Easter eggs that hinted at it but I didn't think they had the balls to kill of a main character like that

2.)With him (Palermo) being tied up, Rio still suffering from PTSD, Nairobi still recovering and manilla still playing under cover meaning they were short on members
And also with gandi on the lose, it might have prompted them to restore him back to his post since he was originally the leader ,and quite frankly Tokyo is incapable of leading, she's too impulsive.
That was the intent,
And it made sense, from his point of view atleast.

3.) As to the bad decisions I referenced, I was referring to everyone in general, not just Palermo.
But his intent was definitely not to sabotage the plan.
Even when he wanted to escape, he had no plans to.
Hence the muffins in the briefcase
There were Easter eggs through out the episodes that suggested that he wasn't going to do so(even saying it himself)
I'm sorry you didn't spot it
And if you still think that he wanted to sabotage the plan, feel free to do so
But I must assure you that it's merely your opinion and not the show's take on the character.

4.) As to the chronicles of gandi stuff, you're probably joking.
The new inspector in charge of the operation, Sierra was a much more formidable opponent than Raquel , cause she didn't even let him play his mind games, she got Nairobi shot. Almost got Raquel to call her mother before the guy came with the watch signal, and even buried Rio alive.
So It wasn't only gandi that gave them problems
But he most certainly was the most stubborn one.

-The professor is starting to look like a PhD holder .... How will the "professor" not know about a panic room with such hi-tech war gadgets in it. Also be so careless with the car that pregnant cop (Alicia) used to get to him.

-Why waste our time on saving Nairobi only for her to be eventually shot in the head by one riff raff (gateman turn Rambo)

-That Palermo character is quite unbelievable, Even if he is an egomaniac, his actions are quite impossible given the circumstances and the love he had for Berlin

-The heist now should have passed just mere willingness to screwing things up intentionally (Palermo) that cost them, but an unavoidable slightest of mistakes that will cost them

-The heist should have been more serious than something you toy with when you feel like it.... The heister's should have known better by now especially Palermo....

- When professor said war in season 3, I was actually expecting war, but they decided to call a truce...

- Season 4 wasn't bad though but season 1-3 was better

I'm not going trying to counter or condemn your opinion
But I'd to add to it
And give my opinion
1.) The professor didn't know that there was a panic room in the bank of Spain because it wasn't in the plans
Maybe he should have anticipated it is another issue entirely
2.)Nairobi off after she recovered was part of the plot, many other really good shows have done it
The plot was intended to mislead viewers with the intent to pull of a shocker
After all everybody thought the worst was over for her, besides gandi did promise to kill her a couple of episodes back.
3.)As for Palermo actions, it's not impossible because the professor voiced his concerns about him during the flash backs
And Palermo himself told the professor that he was only loyal to the plan, not the gang.
He told gandi how to free himself so he could be the leader again
A course of action that unfortunately led to the demise of Nairobi (intended plotline)
4.)As for Palermo being an egomaniac
That's his character attributes
Someone like that isn't expected to make rational decisions in situations where emotions are doubled or tripled even
If no mistakes are made, the series won't be believable or even happen for that matter
I strongly accept the bad decisions they make, because they are human beings with flaws and their mistakes stay true to their characters
Because their flaws and unpredictability is what made the series worth watching in the first place.
5.) As for the professor saying war,
I fully expect that in the season 5
It was definitely a writers room decision to include a truce , cause it allowed them to be able to make another season
If the war happened in season 4 , and extended to season 5, it would have being a bad decision people would have lost interest
The same mistake the walking dead made in seasons 7&8
Money heist is by no means a perfect show, but I understand the story telling techniques and decisions
But like I said,
I'm not trying to blast or condemn your opinion
I'm just adding my two cents to it.

I think a lot of producers strech some Series un-necessarily.

Same issue I have with HTGAWM, show should have ended in its 3rd or 4th season but what did Shonda do? She dragged it till the 6th season and bored our lives. Into the Badlands suffered this same disease.

Unlike Breaking Bad, it got better from its first episode till its final episode.

Even Greys Anatomy that is in its 16th season, a lot of people jumped off that ship at Season 5.

Just finished money heist season 4 and it was pathetic to say the least. Series should have ended with season 2.

We have Palermo who decides to revolt cos Tokyo took charge helping the head of security Guendia to break free (this makes no sense my matter how I try to see it)

Guendia is John wick, the punisher and superman rolled into one. All those shots and man didn't die. Lol. So no one thought to use the governor as leverage to end his supposed madness before it began.

Cheesy dialogues, childish fighting. It was annoying in season one and two but one could argue they just got to know each other.. It was pretty lame how they'd all point guns at each other and throw tantrums and the most minimal things.

The CNI are pretty dumb for guys named central national intelligence. The inconsistent and movement in timelines was bizzare. One moment Marseille is in Algeria, the next he's back in Spain and several other examples.

Nairobi should have died from the sniper shot.

All in all this season was a filler of some sort cos they're back to the beginning again. The heist itself took second place cos all we had was Guendia (John wick) running around causing chaos that shouldn't have existed in the first place for like 4 episodes and Lisbon broken out of jail.

Some would enjoy it. Others wouldn't but this is my honest review as someone who liked the first two seasons and even recommended it to friends. It's just dumb at this point. My two cents.

1. They should have left Rio to die. Himself and Tokyo broke the rules yet again. That is how he got caught.

2. The era of serial bank robbery is dead. Most bank jobs are single attacks. Modern technology and investigations make it easy to catch physical criminals. Once you rob a bank, you become a fugitive- a wanted criminal.

3. Yahoo is not bank robbery. Bank robbery risks death as one can be immediately shot by police. Bank robbery requires teamwork, efficient planning, efficient time management and efficient execution.


4. Following from point number 2, how would it be possible for fugitives to travel around a modern city like madrid in order to rob the bank of Spain. Madrid has many CCTV cameras around its city. How do a group of wanted criminals get into Spain from other countries in the first place when they would be caught on sight if they use any ports? Just being in Spain is a risk. How would they sign up for a second job knowing this?

5. Just look at heists in real life today. All of them are one-hit jobs.


6. Prison break became rubbish after the escape on season 1 and the evasion in season 2. You can see the drop in ratings from season 3.

But after about 15 or so episodes in season 2...it was clear the series was going nowhere...
It had a very good premise but no direction to move it forward...I didn't even feel the death of his wife...
The entire series lost direction in season 2...
Same way Blacklist lost direction

The two series have the same thing in common... wonderful premise but storylines without direction...
