All these are very shallow details by the way. It would take some tangible time to describe the minutest parts of life and infinite time for the whole vast universe.

I'll also like a series similar to "Secret life of an American teen-ager"... Didn't finish this cos it became boring at a point

For comedy, you can check out Brooklyn nine nine or big bang theory
B. N. N hasn't ended yet, but it's 7 seasons long with over 22 episodes per season
And it's really good

I've not really followed any TV series produced after 2017. I just watch one episode to decide If I'd like to continue watching and I'm left highly disappointed most of the time.

It's pretty unfair to judge a series by its pilot episode
We mostly complain that the writers put too much information and unnecessary dialogues in the pilot
Now it's getting better
Watch 3 episodes and decide then.
There are really good shows after 2017
But you can't discover them by watching one episode

I know Defending Jacob is a limited series but I doubt there will be any asking for season 2 as it was with Big Little Lies.

Except the remaining episodes comes with some off the chart cliffhanger.

Twas a smart decision to make it one season
Nobody wants to see a show like that for multiple seasons
To be honest the only reason I like Defending Jacob is cause of the cast and I know it's just 8 episodes
So I can just relax and enjoy it

And its not ur regular law series with lawyers dropping facing off in the court.

Its almost like question and answer. I am currently seeing it, I just want to see how it will end.

I won't recommend.

You can try and see the first 3episodes if it is your kind of series.

It's a limited series
No harm in recommending it
