blank: Most of those our "teething signs" are actually due to infections they pick up by putting dirty things in their mouths. I learnt from my first son and thus with my second, i was very careful of such. He had no symptoms except excessive saliva. We just woke up one morning and saw two teeth up. No diarrhea, no fever. He didn't get the flu till he started school. Totally agree. Couldn't have said it any better. Even wrote a post on this. Oh and you know you can tell a child's age from the number of teeth? Later guys. Have to start preparing the kids for school |

omosezy: Hello mamas, pls my 3mths &2wks son has low pvc 29%. He's on bM n formular. I'm really worried If Your baby is fine all through and through with no yellow eyes, then there is no need to worry. 3 months is the time the PCV is at its lowest in every baby. It will pick up again. Just continue Feeding him like you are doing and the PCV will pick up again. |

ibiboss: PLEASE HELP ME! MY BABY WAS BORN WEIGHING 5.5KG AND YESTERDAY SHE WAS WEIGHING 5.6KG AT 7 WEEKS. WHY IS SHE NOT GAINING WEIGHT DESPITE DOING EBF FOR HER. 5.5kg!!!!! Wow, that is BIG!!!! I did the maths though. At dt age, your baby should be 6.46kg. So, at 5.6kg, your baby's weight is 88% of expected. Perfectly normal. You need not worry and please don't be tempted to overfeed him. Already her weight is close to dt of a 3 month old so I say she is doing fine. Quick question.... Were you diabetic during pregnancy? Or are your babies always this big. |

comtem2011: Hello Mamas in d house, pls what is d effect of using a baby formula that has been opened for more than 4 weeks on babies. quick response pls. attention:DrAda, Zaynie, Kaffybill and other lovely mamas. Personally, I will not give it to my baby. I will be so uneasy and will worry that any little problem is due to the milk. Instead of discarding it, you can use it for your older kid's breakfast eg tea or pancake or something. My opinion though #nofoodisawaste# |

IryNky: She was 2.57 @ birth 3.4 @ 6 weeks. Tanks from my calculation, the ideal weight for your baby at 6 weeks with 2.57kg birth weight is 3.53kg. Right now, she is 3.4(i am guessing you measured without pampers) which is 96% of expected. Your Baby is absolutely fine. |

mumsgirl27: It is...very sugary, I couldn't even finish d tin, had to throw it away looked it up and really the sugar content was ridiculously high in peak 123 compared to other milk. I hope they change this soon cos too much sugar does indeed cause problems in the long run |

Onegai: Not always. These are guidelines which several children skip or change the timing. As long as it happens then there's no cause for alarm.
My baby couldn't crawl but stood up supporting herself on furniture and cruised around the house. Then learned how to crawl after that. She's just learning to stand unsupported and she's 10 months. A few of her cousins never crawled in their lives but cruised and walked. True that. I know a couple of babies that never crawled. I only outlined the norm. Of course, there are a few exceptions |
