Hello, @edofirstborn and @mysmartnetwork no need to insult each other, I'm sure you're both good individuals. My name is Baba, I'm a co-founder of Dragnet and a colleague of mine just sent this thread to me. Glad to read that most of you have moved on to do good things. For those that will soon own a bank, we say AMEN to that, and hope to pitch our services to you one day sir/ma. Just to address a few points, abd perhaps support the point where someone said our own is "oversabi": 1. GMAT is predictive of academic performance and not workplace performance, which is why it is used by schools and not recruitment consultants (well at least the ones that know). 2 Workforce is a good company with clever people running it, so I very much doubt that they would turn candidates away for wearing a tie, unless the invite categorically stated so. The context needs to be explained. Their goal like ours is to identify the best candidates and they put a lot of effort into doing this well. 3a. @cdieli it is uncharacteristic (highly improbable) of our staff to act that way, especially in front of a client, and so I apologise incase you got the client name wrong. However we have not conducted interviews for Fidelity Bank, YET. Perhaps your first comment about Dragnet leading to significant GMAT prep, is unrelated to the comment about your interview experience at Fidelity Bank. We try to meet or exceed client standards, and would have shown the type of emotional intelligence exhibited by the excellent Fidelity bank staff, especially because the best people (the ones that we are trying to get for the client) have options, and their experience of the recruitment process impacts on their judgement (alongside salary, location, etc). 3b. Our interest in universities is real. We offered them everything from free CBT software when nobody had it, to a free electric/hybrid car to help students see first -hand where the world is going. However connecting candidate performance to university is done empirically/objectively, not through such an engagement at the interview you say that you experienced. Our last work on this saw us take the results of over 800k test takers, filtering the data to pool those that took the tests under identical conditions, from which we ranked the universities by candidate performance, to know which one came top. The answer was Covenant University. We also enjoyed that exercise because it informed us about new things we did not know, like FUTA and FUTO are in the TOP 10 of institutions in Nigeria, producing grads for the workplace. (Note that this information does not tell you who has the best programmers, lawyers, doctors, data analysts, ESG course, or entrepreneurs. Yet it is useful information). 4. @octopusbottle getting good sleep before a test is very important. The brain needs it in order to be optimal. (PS: you're not an olodo). Please help explain the "collect people phone number". Thanks for the memories, I definitely recall the EM experience of 2012, and having to redo the test. It helped shape the company we became, and definitely tested us. As for where we are now, you may no longer see us because you are not chasing graduate recruitment jobs, but I hope we will see more of each other as we've expanded to handle Nigerian and international certification exams. Those that are now in a bank doing the Chartered Institute exams, or those in Personnel management or Taxation, will engage our technology for certification exams (which you can now do from the comfort of your home, securely). For other certification exams you can go to www.dragnet-solutions.com/dptc where you will find for example the Canadian exams for doctors, and many more global high security exams. So those experiences that you recall, taught us a lot, it cost us a lot, but helped us grow. This is too long sha, hope it was at least informative. Baba |
Greetings to members of the house. My name is Baba Ikazoboh of DRAGNET. msmalawi, Thanks for your comments. We currently have over 8,000 signed up applicants and we treat each one with great importance, that is why I here respond to your comments. I am not aware of anyone (paid or sponsored) that has the problems you describe. In the month of December, we apologised to applicants, we tore down the portal, and rebuilt it with a significant number of modifications. It was back up mid January. If your said visits happen to have fallen in this period, the answers you claim you were given would make sense. If your problems occurred after that period, then I suggest to you that it is not possible. I am not sure how Senior your contact is at the bank, but PlatinumHabib Bank PLC signed up on 06-08-2007. It is no good confirming via just anyone in the company, but any Senior Recruitment Personnel, Manager or Director, will confirm that the Director for Corporate Resources Oshoke Imoagene, signed on behalf of the company on the date stated. We have no need to make up members. I ask that you send details of your payment (transaction ID if via Interswitch or Etranzact, OR, bank name, payment details, if paid with cash), and your DRAGNET ID, to info@dragnet-solutions.com for my team to look into it. At this stage, I cannot confirm your claims to have visited us several times because I know neither your name nor your Dragnet ID, but assure you that we will look into this, as soon as you send the details as requested above. Baba Ikazoboh |
Good day to members of the house. My name is Baba Ikazoboh of DRAGNET. DRAGNET notifies all applicants of all job vacancies. If you are interested in the job, then apply. This way only employers with job opportunities you are interested in will get to see your details. Once you have applied, your scores are presented in a table to the employer, alongside all other applicants. The employer is provided with a filtering capability on the portal, and can drill down into your DRAGNET profile (CV, Aptitude Test Scores and Personality Profile). They will then contact you directly if they are interested. We do not charge the client and therefore this makes it a lot easier for them to reach you. Over the next few weeks, the number of recruitment campaigns on the portal, will increase exponentially. Check regularly, or simply wait for the DRAGNET notification. You can register on DRAGNET without paying. The only problem is that this prevents you from applying for jobs that require an aptitude test score. These type of jobs usually require experience, e.g. Senior Managerial Roles. Employers use the Aptitude Test Scores to differentiate between lots of young graduate applicants from Universities of different standards and levels of integrity, and different courses too. The standardised aptitude tests allows you as the applicant exhibit you current level of aptitude in 3 areas, Numerical, Verbal and Abstract reasoning. In addition, your personality is mapped to also guide the employer. Be truthful in doing the personality assessment. Some employers might be looking for someone with your genuine personality. Good luck with the job hunting. We are doing our best at this end to support you. Any ideas you have will also help us improve. Kindly send them to info@dragnet-solutions.com With best regards, Baba Ikazoboh |
ben68 and clutch162, Good evening, my name is Baba Ikazoboh of Dragnet. There is useful information on the following links. You can see people's reservations and Dragnet explanations. Some positive, some negative, but it is always good to have both before you make any decision. The good news is that Nairalanders do not have to pay for Dragnet before the end of November so you can minimise your risk by taking advantage of this opportunity. You can get more detail on these links: www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-94539.0.html www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-94544.0.html www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-76964.0.html www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-89015.0.html www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-84264.0.html I wish you good luck in your search. |
Pammymela, thanks for your patience. Your last login attempt was on the 25th of October. Check that you are login in with the right Dragnet ID. Use the one that ends with 21 and not the original pre-payment one that ended with 91. Your mail was received on the 15th. You were one of 7 people that had a problem that was not the straigth forward deactivation (i.e. your reasons for deactivation wasn't the usual "3 wrong passwords" . Aira replied on the 15th to tell you we were looking into the problem. On the 16th the issue was rectified and you were reactivated and sent your new password. I would recommend that you check both your inbox and your junk mail. Systems Admin confirm that your log-in works and your results have been visible to employers since the 16th. I was reassured that you were treated specially when you came to the test centre, allowed to do a test at a time when tests where not going on, because that was the only time convenient for you. I was also told that the Building was put on Test Mode for you. (All staff phones to silent, switch from NEPA to the 110KVA Gen to avoid downtime regardless of the fact that the Inverter will keep your system and internet link ON, etc). We have checked your log-in history which suggests you only tried to log-in once using the correct Dragnet ID. Unfortunately we cannot check the old ID number as this has been replaced with the new one. You may contact Aira, or info@dragnet-solutions.com, if you still have problems. Hope this helps. |
Pammymela, there are over 6,000 people registered and 7 with the problem you mention (some contacted us and others we identified ourselves after the 1st person contacted us). It is being rectified which might explain why your ID is not currently recognised. You will be contacted as soon as it is corrected. I will find out and update you on the progress made on this issue, as soon as this response is completed. On the other point, there isn't a pass mark. Each employer sets their criteria and contacts you through the email address you gave to Dragnet, if you meet their test score or personaility demands. |
Pain, Dragnet would not need to do that. We have always address issues raised by the house using our own name. We do not impersonate house members. Let "Olayeni" share his views just as you are allowed to share yours. I do not for example, accuse you of being a competitor of Dragnet trying to instigate uncertainty amongst young Nigerians. I do not know Mr. Ribadu personally, but he is a close friend of many close friends of mine. I am sure he too would struggle to see how Dragnet could be a scam considering the millions of Naira that has been spent on building a world class facility in Lekki. Considering the collaborations with media houses like the Silverbird Group, and banks like First Bank PLC, Bank PHB and First Inland bank, on the provision of banking facilities for Corpers to spread the cost of the Dragnet Tests over a period of 6monthly installments. Stop locking yourself away. See the New Nigeria, or at least see the direction in which Nigeria is moving. Don't remain locked in the past. Not everything is a scam. If you see the value in what we are doing and you think it is worth the price (N15 per company that your CV, aptitude test score, and personality profile is sent to), then you must be ready to pay for it. If you do not, then don't pay for it. It can't get simpler than a simple 'exchange of value' decision. |
Good evening, idnoble73, its impressive that you find an offer of a FREE TEST to be 419. Not too sure of your logic my good Sir/Madam. You tarnish our name in your line "This is a scam and 419 stuff from dragnet", an accusation which you have no right or grounds to profer, particularly when you seem to base it on your past experiences which have no link with Dragnet. This is particularly insulting when we have gone through the effort of getting tests for members of the house, FREE. In just a few hours, the number of Nairalanders that have sent in their emails, has been remarkable, so thankfully they too (like me) cannot make sense of just how this fraud would work. biolabee, thank you for your contribution because it has good intellectual content. You rightly point out that the culture of recruitment necessitates having "contacts". This is one of the major changes being targetted by the Dragnet Revolution. Championing the cause of MERITOCRACY is a role we have embraced. On this note we have spoken to a vast number of HR departments, who are tasked with the challenge of bringing into the company; the best applicants, but hindered by the culture of "Connections". They find this very constraining and are using Dragnet as a means to revolt against this unfair practice. When I listen to them, it is not lip service they are paying. They are professionals, and they wish to do a professional job of recruitment. Dragnet in 2008 is rolling out another portal for the 'experienced' market, borne out of requests from these same employers. Your second recommendation is addressed in this project. But suffice to say that yours are well thought out suggestions which we have considered in articulating our business concept. Dragnet is a test used by employers to ascertain the aptitude and personality of aplicants, just as JAMB is an examination used by Universities to ascertain the ability of young Nigerians. The difference is that with Dragnet you have a choice to do it in order to signal to employers your ability and personality traits, or to go through the current (soon to be old) recruitment path. It is not compulsory, but we want as many people as possible to use it. That is why we encourage as many companies as possible to pay on your behalf. Silverbird for example, for Rhythm 93.7FM's 10th anniversary, are giving away 1,000 free test. We encourage and applaud such gestures. Meggy, like with idnoble73, the reasoning behind your sense of 'caution', on a FREE OFFER, eludes me. Oluchia, thank you also, your contribution was very constructive, however one correction is needed, Dragnet is absolutely not like other recruitment companies, we offer vastly different services, and they are users of our service and partners to Dragnet. They get our service for FREE, just like the companies they recruit for. An analogy: Before cars, people got from one location to another using other means of transport, but we must not mistake one mode for another. I'm not quite sure where to start but note the following: With test centres nationwide, Dragnet offers equal opportunity to all Nigerians no matter where they live. Dragnet offers employers a wider pool to select from. Dragnet reduces the cost of search for applicants by giving them a on stop shop. Dragnet will increase the employment chances of applicants by increasing their visibility to employers in a manner the employers themselves prefer. Dragnet engenders this “culture of meritocracy” that I mentioned to "biolabee". By completely eradicating the screening and testing burden from employers, and making it much easier to short-list graduates, employers would increase the quantum and frequency of their graduate intakes having a positive impact on employment at a macro level. There is no limit to the number of users – applicants and employers. The Dragnet Portal will serve as an effective and efficient clearing house for Graduate Recruitment in Nigeria. Integrity of test results is guaranteed as there is no human interface in the Dragnet Process, from the time your seat the test to when you walk out of the gate of the test-centre, the results are on the portal, fair and square with your picture, no cheating. It will restore hope to graduates many of whom today feel quite despondent about their prospects for employment. The provision of biometric (finger-print) and digital photo for identification will check-mate the prevalence of test mercenaries. The provision of conducive test centres (fully air conditioned) will put an end to the ‘brutalisation of applicants’ at aptitude test venues. Elimination of duplication of efforts and costs as applicants would now only need to take one test. Do the maths, N7,500 for being made available to the TOP 500 Nigerian companies and more, is N15 per company, its like texting them your CV, aptitude test scores and personality profile. Information flow is on-line real-time guaranteeing immediate feedback to the applicants and ensuring transparency in the process. The test tools all meet international standards and as a result Nigerian Graduates can become attractive to foreign firms. No we are not like other recruitment companies. Since however they are FREE, applicants may continue to pursue as many paths to a job as possible. This is advisable. But do not mistake the type of service provided, as "same". Segunb, the test is for everyone that has graduated. On the CV module you will be asked if you have completed your NYSC. Employers who require you to have completed your NYSC will filter using NYSC as a criteria. These employers will not see your scores. Employers who are after the most able applicants regardless of NYSC (e.g. might want you to do NYSC with them) will not use NYSC as a criteria. |
Good Morning, My name is Baba Ikazoboh of Dragnet. Dragnet exists to give employment an easier process. We realise that for a better Nigeria, for a better society, for a better economy, more people need to be in jobs, busy, working, developing themselves and the environment they live in, but the process for employment is always too tedious for the employers. We have discovered a lot of jobs are out there, but the employers go through such a difficult and expensive time trying to reach you. This is why we were set up; to ease their route to you, and to eliminate their cost of hiring. If easing the process allows them hire you faster, and eliminating the costs allows them hire more of you, then it means more of you will be unemployed for less time. This is of good benefit, and this is what Dragnet brings. With due honour to Mr. Oluwaseun Osewa for building this house, and to "SMAZ" for doing the honourable thing (visiting Dragnet Test Centre 1 to verify our claims), I have been authorised by my team, to offer FREE TESTS TO INTERESTED NAIRALANDERS UNTIL THE END OF NOVEMBER 2007, each worth N7,500. Please follow the steps below if this offer is of interest to you: 1. Send an email to NYSC@dragnet-solutions.com The email address that you send this from, will become the address that the Dragnet portal and employers will reach you on. 2. In the subject of the email write: Nairaland Offer, "First Name" "Surname" e.g. for me this would be: Nairaland Offer, Baba Ikazoboh 3. In the content of the email, kindly send the following text: And always remember, Follow the rules, Use 'Search' before posting Post in the correct Sections Do not spam the board Respect other members First Name - Surname Telephone number email address Then anything else you want to write. 4. We will collate the information and contact you in the 1st week of December, enabling you on the portal to enter your CV information. 5. When you have completed this, you will be invited to the test centre for your personality profiling and aptitude test (numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning). It helps if you are prepared for the aptitude test. 6. Come to the test centre with a copy of the email sent to you by the Dragnet Systems Administrator. Quote your Dragnet ID to security at the gate who have a list of those invited. 7. When you into the test centre you will have your finger print and digital photo captured. These images will be stored with your results so do not send anyone else to attempt the test for you. When the employer is interested in either your results or your personality type, it is the test taker they will be expecting through the interview door, and not you. They have the pictures. 8. When you are scheduled for a test, do not bring any materials with you. The tests are sat online and are linked to a server in the UK. For calculation and rough work, pen, paper and calculator will be provided by Dragnet. No need to memorise or copy questions for a friend that might be sitting the test later, because questions are randomised. 9. Once you have sat the test, results are posted unto the web for employers to view. This is done real time so that no-one can manipulate your scores or scores of others. There is no human interface. I wish you luck as we jointly endevour to get you working. |

DIPPY and FRANKOKO: You comments are linked, and thanks for sharing them. I hope that with time, young Nigeirans, not just Nairalanders, would see that Dragnet HAS come to help both Graduates and Employer, and with time, each group would think they benefit more than the other. It can't be done for free and to have offered it for free at the start, only to later introduce a fee, would have been in my opinion, rather misleading. Besides, no company gives anyone a product or service for free for a year. It is what it is, and it comes at a cost. That said however, we are here to help Graduates and we are fully aware of the spending power of young graduates, hence we set the price as low as it can go, and furthermore we have approached, and are in talks with, a few of the major corporates that support the concept, asking them to offer Dragnet grants by paying on behalf of you (not just Nairalanders but young grads in general). Will keep you posted on this. DIPPY: The purpose of paying for 2 people is so that as a House we can send out our own, to go and be witnesses, and report honestly to the house. HOUSE: I think I have done a fair job in this forum, of attempting to explain the reason Dragnet charges. I have further gone on to give you an idea of the benefits of going our way. Then eventually, came the issue of if we were real or a fraud, and there I tried to suggest ways you could use to verify this. Now, I ask the house to wish us goodluck. Dragnet is a new company that has so quickly been embraced by the blue chips. It is run by young determined Nigerians like you, and destined with your prayers and our performance, for national, continental and global recognition. |
SMAZ: Since you started this, I'm glad you brought the good suggestion. Kindly call 0700DRAGNET (07003724638) and we will through one of our sponsors arrange a test for you immediately. EMPEROH: As part of your authentication excercise, it would be worthwhile extending the same gesture to you if you are interested. AUSSIE: I only joined Nairaland when I heard that a bunch of IT literate young Nigerians were discussing Dragnet. I wanted to see the conversations and have the ability to respond on behalf of the company. To guide your misconceptions. But frankly, I do not see the link between joining Nairaland on the 10th, and declaring that the Dragnet Solution which has cost investors over N61m so far, with "in-pipe-line" investments of a further N436m in test centre roll-out alone, is therefore a ruse. The logic beats me. I discovered that it is a very good forum and I sent a message to its creator, congratulating him on this success. SMAZ and EMPEROH, I look forward to hearing from you. |
I thank the house for your feedback. The fact that I make the effort to respond to the house is out of respect for your freedom to be heard and your rights to clarification, and not, as a small number chose to believe, because of a scam. Xvenus: Although a good suggestion, we unfortunately have only between 30 and 40 seconds of advert slots and so we try to capture as much of this information as possible on our website. Thanks to Nairalanders we are also going to include excerpts from my last response on our website. Tejutaiwoh: Sorry you have been a victim of one scam or another. The world is full of it, not just Nigeria. You are wiser now, so I recommend that you display it by doing a thorough verification of the company Dragnet before you pay. Some tips: 1. Check with the companies we work for. Try to avoid Lekany2k's approach of broadcasting what would sound like factually based statements, without first contacting the company in question. (For NNPC who signed up on 21st August 2007: contact the General Manager Group Learning Department, and acting General Manager Human Resources, Abuja). 2. Check with the company that is our psychometric testing technical partner: ASE Solutions Limited. http://www.ase-solutions.co.uk/ Our Technical Associate is Jeremy Pemberton-Pigott Granada Learning Limited, Chiswick Centre, 414 Chiswick High Road, London, United Kingdom 3. Check with the company that has spent the last 2 years developing our Portal and integrating with our partners overseas to allow tests to be taken and marked real time: Socketworks Limited, 20 Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos www.socketworksglobal.com 4. Check with the company that provided business advisory services from concept creation , feasibility studies, and have acted as consultants to the deployment phase. Nextzon Business Services Ltd www.nextzon.com 5. Check with the CAC in Abuja, we have very credible directors as I'm sure you have seen from the site. Olayeni: I'm sure you do not expect that there is money that can be paid that would guarantee anyone a job for life, especially when as you say, job performance is not good enough. What we are doing is putting your details firmly on the tables of recruitment decision makers in the format they want it so that they can see you in the first place. Lekany2k: I have not researched your response, but frankly, if its true then that is surely proof of how impressive Dragnet is. NNPC signed up to Dragnet on 21st August 2007. But why won't they, it is free, and allows them recruit based on MERIT rather than through connection. Emperoh: Please do not look at it as grammar. A lot of thought has gone into this and that is why the answers are not as simple. For example, if we truly wanted to speak grammar on justifying this, it would sound more like this: In Economic Theory of Imperfect information whereby the information set available to transacting parties is asymmetric, one side knows better than the other, you know your competence and abilities better than the employers do. To correct for this, signalling and screening strategies are adopted. Most times they are costly especially when the information has been so bastardised and the volumes in question are overwhelming. In Nigeria, some youths and some universities have through nefarious activities totally rendered the degrees grading system difficult to objectively interpret, the population size of our youths also further complicates the issue. The onus is on the party that broke it to fix it. The onus is on the applicants to bear some of the costs of correction to the information set. This is straight laced economic logic. This is the way a free market economy corrects for imperfections. We do not run a socialist order in Nigeria. If we stop worrying about the money for a while and start being positive about the opportunities that will open up through the Dragnet Revolution, as there is no HR department we've spoken to that does not love the new way, especially as it will help them take up more people with little effort. This is better than any sentimental argument we may make about N7,500. The tests are not free. The costs are on the website of our test partners. This is a more efficient way to allow deserving graduates signal their quality to at the very least THE TOP 500 Nigerian companies. If you were to attend individual tests for even 100 companies, you would spend more than N7,500 in transportation alone. Be positive and see the benefits. I absolutely agree with you, do your search on Dragnet, we're going to be here a while. I refer you to the comments on authentication given above. NAIRALANDERS: Visit the 1st "best in class" computerised Dragnet Test Centre at 7 New Market Road, Lekki, Lagos. Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. You can also call 0700DRAGNET (07003724638) for enquiries. |
Happy Eid el Fitri My name is Baba Ikazoboh – of Dragnet. This debate did not start now, it started back in 2004 when the concept was being drawn up, so don’t expect a short answer. Why charge the applicant? Dragnet is a standard recruitment examination. Like JAMB, GMAT, WAEC, ICAN, etc, it is positioned as an extra qualification profile. However, the cynic in me says that it’s simply another pre-condition for getting a job. It is yours to have but just for a year. You can choose to do it, or you may decide that it’s not for you, but we believe it will give you a better chance of being seen, and thus, of being considered for job opportunities with the firms you want. Many companies like the concept and are switching, because like it or not, it’s a better way, a major advancement. It saves them money because we give it to them free; but that’s because we want them to get your CV for free. We want them to get your aptitude test scores for free. We give them your personality profile also free. We do that with the TOP 500 companies and that’s part of what you’re paying for. Infact, it’s the same as how you pay for all the exams and tests mentioned above. Even the degree you have is not free. Very far from it, lets break it down: N48,500 annual tuition N30,000 rent per annum N100,000 a year for food, handouts and stationary, clothes, small drink, credit, handset, etc, etc…. Lets even say the total, is a minimum of N100,000.00 per annum, over 4 – 7 yrs striving to obtain a qualification from a tertiary institution with which we hope to use to signal our quality (and ability to bring value) to these employers. A total cost of between N400k – N700k. Today, I’m certain that the top employers do not take the results of your N400k degree as absolute proof of your intellect, because they ALL (ok maybe not ALL, but most) test you again before they give you a job. As we say in our brochure: Employer’s perception is that the number of graduates completing higher education (university and polytechnics) has expanded significantly over the last decade. The institutions for higher education are of varying standards and varying levels of integrity. Their graduates are also of varying standards. As a result, comparison across candidates from different institutions is difficult to achieve under these circumstances. In other words, the degrees obtained and grades achieved are not a sufficient indicator of their true quality. Hundreds of companies around the country today use aptitude tests in their screening process with a view to ascertaining true quality of the intakes. Having a University Degree or a Polytechnic’s National Diploma and composing a CV is not sufficient. The recruitment process of top employer’s now requires Aptitude Tests of all candidates to allow objective comparison between candidates. As a result, applicants now spend a great deal of their job search effort chasing Aptitude Test opportunities with organisations. Dragnet Solutions is the solution. Dragnet is today providing a central testing and assessing solution, which allows fresh graduate applicants take internationally accredited standard aptitude tests and personality assessments, results of which will be presented to the top 500 employers in Nigeria in a format in which they require it. Complete with CV/Resume information, Aptitude Test Results and Personality Profile Sten Scores. That’s why Dragnet demands a payment of N7500 for registration. Dragnet Solutions makes sense due to the following: 1. Job search for graduates is a major challenge 2. To be considered for employment, you must apply and be visible 3. CV information is no longer enough, aptitude test is now the standard 4. Dragnet will take the Dragnet Profile (CV, Aptitude Tests, Personality Profile) of applicants to the Top 500 companies The advantages of Dragnet is that it offers you a one-stop-shop for your search thereby drastically reducing the cost of search and the cost used in pursuing and attending individual company tests as well as soliciting feedback. The cost associated with missed opportunities is also there and if you don’t know how to even commence your job search there is an intangible cost for hopelessness and attendant stress. SO why pay? What are the benefits? 1. Dragnet gives you visibility to the top 500 Companies and helps you eliminate cost of search. 2. Our tests are professionally designed for work based assessment not like GMAT which is for academia. Ours is a true assessment. 3. Personality profile gives you a good chance if your test results are not as good 4. We bring feedback instantly on your test performance 5. We open a vast new horizon of opportunities//unparalleled visibility 6. We bring you hope in an organised and stress free manner as our tests are all taken in a conducive environment. 7. We bring about equal opportunity for all ensuring that recruitment screening is now based on meritocracy. The costs are positive value creation costs. They result from the need to meet the following costs. The costs of development and maintenance of the portal. The costs of the tests which are paid for from our partners in the UK in POUNDS. The test provider is a UK based firm (see Technical partners on the website), and the cost of sitting this test with them (if you go direct) is far more than N7,500. We pay for serious volumes of the test, that’s how we can bring the price lower. The test centres cost a lot to configure and set-up as well as to run. Back-up generators, diesel, staff etc. We also need to pay for adverts and other communication that keeps you informed. Today, there are quite a lot of vacancies in companies but the thought of mounting a recruitment/screening campaign with the difficulties involved keeps the exercise at bay. If they use consultants, they will have to obtain internal approvals to select and pay the consultants which carries some bureaucracy, effort and time delay. In short, it is not easy for them to recruit fresh graduates. With the Dragnet approach we try and make it as easy as possible to bring people in. With Dragnet, its so simple, the employer doesn’t even need to advertise, they just come to the database for free and shortlist. Full stop. We all need to be on the same side here, to make it as easy as possible for them to employ so that many more of you can get employed. I am biased, so I suggest you join and support the Dragnet Revolution in screening. This will ensure that you no longer need ‘connection’ to take any tests. You will get feedback on the test (Meritocracy and Transparency). You don’t have to travel about pursuing test dates, simply send an email or call 0700DRAGNET. More people will get employed this way, because many employers are switching. Furthermore, there is no pass mark. One employer might require a person that scores 80% verbal test score for a marketing, while the same employer for a different role, might require just 50% verbal test score. If this essay does not make the point, here it is: The recruitment industry has changed shape. Dragnet is the new way. We make the applicants visible to more companies than they would by themselves have been able to reach, presenting all their information to the companies in a format they desire/require (and more), and then we make it too easy for the companies and their recruitment agencies to reach these applicants for free. |
