Lezzlie: Rarely does Nature bequeaths humanity with the gift of beauty, intelligence, decorum, humility, grace and manners.
I am privileged to be part of this golden moment, like an eclipse, we have witnessed Mimzy in our midst as she takes us through the winding and smooth plains of her enthralling life.
A life full of kindness, compassion and brilliance, and good judgement and tolerance.
After the scathing attacks, doctored reports and avalanche of abuses from the vying camps conveyed by alternate monikers, she maintained her cool and compusure; The hallmark of a true queen who is intelligent, strikingly beautiful and composed to be the face of Nairaland.
My august friends, please join me in appreciating a lady who has weathered the storms of life and has braved out the falsely edited story in NL to shine forth in radiance and hope.
solomonbrown64: .... ..... Sorry bro, I am also just recovering too from an illness. ... I thought Ethan fvcked up, Vanessa's own is a whole lot worse. ...now,the series ends on Sunday with a two-hour finale. I am so gutted, can't believe it's just nine episodes, not cool at all. ....Hunnydropps, Elymoney....
I wish you speedy recovery...I believe it is due to the current weather.. I will try not to expose myself to the cold and avoid been biten by too many mosquitoes...Lol
Well, i feel saddened that Hecate had to die the way she did..They would have given her a proper witch death and not just being killed via gun shot. Ethan is confused and annoying no doubt but i was truely suprised that miss Ives could still fall for dracula despite all that has been said..That was so shocking...How can miss ives who withstood lucifer for 2 seasons now fall easily for dracula I am disappointed.
As for Lily, it is high time her brain was wiped, she is raising evil female soldiers that needed to be crushed...imagine she even sidelined dorian...Well lets see how things unfolds.
solomonbrown64: ........ ... My goodness, Ethan does deserve to die.... I am so, so, so disappointed with his resolve.... How can he give in to that witch so easily.... Vanessa has her sins too and has been chased by two demons since forever but she has held her ground.. ... The guy should be shot, what's the need for forgiveness.... Mtcheew.... I am so angry right now... ... Sorry for the spoilers jawe... .... Hunnydropps, Dragonking, khanivorous.......
Hunnydropps: ....Ethan....my heart doth break ....thats all I can say for now. I'm at a loss for words
I have watched the latest episode and am so wowed!!!!
Thumbs up to Hecate...She got my respect now. Damn, this girl is ready to die 10,000 times for ethan.. See LOVE!!!!!
To the extent that she followed him to the desert and almost died...Am speechless. Will miss ives ever win ethan's love back with the kind of love Hecate just displayed in this episode? Who knows.
@solomonbrown64 and @Hunnydropps , i dont know why you guys are angry with ethan? Right from time, ethan has always stated that he is a bad guy with a dark past.... now we know his secret, as for me, am not surprised. lol....I doubt if his dad will kill him as it is of no use because ethan is ready to die.
A standing ovaition to dr frankestein, what he just achieved in a twickle of an eye is what dr jykle has been researching and eventually lost hope on...See what the power of love for lily can do?
But did anyone noticed that the guy sir malcolm killed was in the picture with ethan and his father? I hope sir malcolm didnt kill ethans brother oo, that will be another problem.
Overall, i loved this episode, especially how hecate showed her undying love for ethan.
solomonbrown64: .... .. OMG!! .. I thought as much.... Sorry bro, God's speed..... ... I pray you get better... We miss you already...
Thanks bro, it wasnt funny at all but it still didnt stop me from watching episode 4, but i couldnt assimilate much of what i watched ...Will watch it again along with the next episode
Elymoney: Present! Superb acting, never a dull moment, I was captivated in every moment, Dracula's is showing his menance, but I guess that's why the devil wants Ethan by his side so much, SMH, he needs a beast and I hope the little witch doesn't deliver, Vannesa showing them Evil was everything. speaking in tongues elevating and then finding herself. How did John die.. how how? I am glad Vannesa didn't kill him, can't take that twist. Only 3 actors. .such elegance. Monday loading.
solomonbrown64: ..... .. Yeah. Sure... It just can't better than that.... A blade of grass has to be the best episode till date.... I have never seen acting so real before.... Christ!!! .... Eva Green and John Claire acting were just too good.... They both deserve an Emmy for that performance.... ... Well, tomorrow is another day, will surely download it on Monday morning... ... Hunnydropps, Dragonking..... Where are you guys?
Hunnydropps: Hi @solomonbrown64 I'm here...been a really busy and tiring week. Hope you've been cool? The thread been kinda slow this week.
*Roll call : @Elymoney @Ginykamark @Sammypedro18 @Cao (Are we all caught up on the episodes and ready for the new one tomorrow?)*
... the last episode was very good, wasn't it? I was impressed with the acting and the way in which the scenes were set up and filmed. It's very difficult for actors when it's just themselves or one other person in a scene and it's even more difficult when there are only a couple of settings to work with but they did a fantastic job. I did not get bored of seeing the white room at all... they kept that story line jumping back and forth. You didn't know if you were getting the real John Clare or Satan himself and it had me on the edge of my seat!
...Then the tenderness John showed Vanessa, getting her to open up overtime was so touching. The way he brought in the makeup and asked his wife to tell him how to apply it so Vanessa could get a sense of normality and feel beautiful for a while...brought tears to my eyes. I give kudos to the actors...they did a great job.
... what did you guys think of when Dracula came on in and squared up with the Devil? I didn't think the devil would cower in the corner like that but once Dracula started to explain why it's like that I was like "WOW!".... I thought the devil would scare Dracula more than Dracula would scare the devil but you know how our show does....always throws us twists and turns.
... who and what will they focus on this week?
@Dragonking hope you're doing ok? Haven't seen ya for a while.
Hi guys, sorry have not been around for a while..Currently am very ill and down with Malaria and catarrh... It was so bad that i couldnt even move.
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria has asked Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State to show statesmanship over the recent alleged herdsmen attack on a community in his state.
The Secretary General of the Association, Baba Ngelzerma, made the appeal on Wednesday while reacting to the Governor’s ban on public grazing and cattle rearing in Ekiti State in southwest Nigeria.
“The statement that the Governor issued, I think he has to exercise some restraint (and) he has to show statesmanship on solving this issue,” he said.
Mr Ngelzerma said on Sunrise Daily that the association was making efforts to meet with Governor Fayose, adding that the association was in contact with its branch in Ekiti State over the matter.
He admitted that there were bad ones amongst them but urged the public not to put blames on the herdsmen until an investigation was conducted.
“Like every other community in Nigeria, we have our own criminals too but then, you cannot jump to conclusion and just apportion blame on a particular group even before an investigation is conducted,” he said.
One-sided Dissemination of Information The Miyetti Allah Secretary General disclosed that the association had convened a meeting last week, to look at ways of solving the lingering crisis between the herdsmen and various communities across Nigeria.
Ngelzerma stressed that the media had a major role to play in solving the crises while he commended Channels Television for giving them the opportunity to tell their own side of the story.
He condemned the one-sided dissemination of information to the public, urging other broadcast organisations to emulate Channels Television and balance their stories.
With the latest inflation as reported for the month of April by NBS, hitting a six-year high of 13.7 per cent , having spiked from 12.8 per cent of the previous month, Nigerians are in for more difficult times in the short term as the recent increase in pump price and hike in electricity tariffs, among others, continued to drive up inflation.
NIGERIA economy shrank in the first quarter of 2016 as oil output fell and the manufacturing, financial and real estate industries declined considerably. This was coming at backdrop of further increase in unemployment rate in the country. The National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, report on the economy released yesterday said that the gross domestic product, GDP, contracted by -0.36 per cent from a year earlier suggesting that the economy is now entering recession as second quarter is also projected to turn out worse GDP position given some recent developments.
He said, “Food prices have gone up. The amount to fill up my car fuel tank has risen. But my income has not. Now, I have abandoned my car. I have to face reality. I now go to work by public transportation. I go by Bus Rapid Transit. The convenience is no longer there like what you have when you drive your own car, but what else can one do?
Firefire: As much as I detest APC, I have no hope in PDP.
We should stop henceforth to recycle politicians in Nigeria who have no two agenda but to amass wealth for their generation yet unborn at the expense of the Nigerian people.
Imagine Bukola Saraki's 2nd child having 4 Billion Naira as account balance at age 13 in 2003? What do you think his account balance would be as of today using Geometric Progression (GP) ?
wristbangle: We don't APC and PDP in Nigeria again
To be honest, both APC and PDP are TOTALLY USELESS!!

FemiFaniKayode: Why Dont We Igbos Appreciate Our Evergreen Musicians
It baffles me our we igbos have failed in celebrations of life, awards, events to appreciate the likes of
Chief Osita Osadebe Bright Chimezie ( Duke of African Music) Emeka Morocco Maduka Chief Dr. Oliver Sunday Akanite (Oliver De Coque) Oriental Brothers Chief Pericoma Okoye
I stay in far away United States and I know how much goes out of my pocket heavily every weekend just so I can sit at some bar and listen to great songs like
Its a different story back home as i rarely hear the songs of these great artist at events whenever in Nigeria compared to the South Westerners who cherish and treat the likes of King Sunny Ade and Chief Commander as Kings and gods
How many youths of nowadays can boast of turntable discs of these great artists I have personally enforced on my kids to revere, cherish, appreciate and listen to these music at home and spread the knowledge and wisdom sayings in these songs wherever they are rather than these contemporary music that only preaches sex violence and women
These artist those days were gods and mouth pieces of the gods compared to our modern day Pastors and Imams
Lets do all that we can to spread the richness of Igbo highlife and traditional Nigerian music
You are complaining about igbos not appreciating Igbo songs when even you yourself dey use Yoruba moniker. Smh
