Once again another opportunity to lie to Nigerians. |
Hahaha... So I thought #DasukiGate was over. But it's just the beginning. |
[quote author=Elose11 post=41453909]I will only believe it if it's from Sahara reporters or the Punch, or the Nations news platform. The rest are GEJ/ PDP apologists. What if it's true? |
goodlifehyd:Don't bother. Just watch and see. |
So this is also in Nigeria? I thought this could only be found in Abuja and Calabar? If we had more of these in all the states and not the usual stealing and lootings, people wouldn't be wanting to go overseas often. |
BeeBeeOoh:The torture?? Very well.. The jailing?? Not this century |

Ghen Ghen!! I hope our economic team has thought this through and has an alternative solution otherwise it's going to confirm the "prophesied" economic hardship for next year... |
Nigeria may be in for harder times than previously envisaged as the International Monetary Fund has predicted that crude oil prices may slump to as low as $20 per barrel in 2016. In the ‘IMF Executive Board Concludes 2015 Article IV Consultation with Iran’ report, the body highlighted that the price of crude oil could drop by between $5 and $15 in 2016, cableng.com reports. As of Thursday, the price of crude oil in the international market averaged $37. On December 17, the price fell to $36 per barrel. The Federal Government 2016 budget had based the 2016 budget on a benchmark oil price of $38 per barrel. If the IMF prediction comes true, the country will be in serious trouble as there won’t be any buffer for the budget. Crude oil revenue accounts for about 90 per cent of Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings. Nigeria is projected to produce 2.2 million barrels of crude oil per day in 2016. If it sells at $38 per barrel, it will generate around $83.6m daily or $30.51bn in the entire year. At $20 as predicted by the IMF, Nigeria will generate $44m daily or $16.06bn next year. This will mean that the country will get at least 47.4 per cent less revenue from oil than what is projected, adding more pressure to the nation’s need to go borrowing in 2016. According to President Muhammadu Buhari, oil related revenues are expected to contribute N820bn to the economy, while the budget deficit, which is projected at N2.22tn, will be funded by foreign and domestic loans. If the N820bn expected from oil revenues is cut by 47.4 per cent as a result of the IMF projected decline in oil prices, the nation’s budget deficit will climb by N388.68bn to N2.59tn. http://www.punchng.com/oil-could-fall-to-20-in-2016-imf/

Whoa! I'm humbled and grateful to God for my complete state of health. May God bless this woman for remembering these ones and may God also remember you and your family in your trying times. Hit "LIKE" if you're grateful to God for your complete senses. |
On reading his profile, I hailed Prof. Sagay after his appointment,. However he's never lived up to expectations. He now talks irrationally and carries out only media criticism of corrupt politicians (which is what the APC is only good at). Is Prof. Sagay blind towards the present happenings in the country? Is he blind towards the long fuel queues? Is he blind towards the depreciating naira against the dollar (meanwhile #1 is now equal to £401)? What about Sen. President. Saraki's corruption case that was on, and is now being swept under the carpet, why hasn't Prof called for his arrest and prosecution? The man should just let GEJ be. |
HML to them. They look cute though. |
Yeah they really look alike. Now I trust their father. ![]() |
Sensitive issue here. I better keep mum over it for now. |
I couldn't agree more with Mr. Adeyanju. It's high time this party discipline is instilled. The problem however is that the opposition politicians who praise the ruling party might have in one way or the other, eaten our yams and cocoa yams and are therefore scared of criticizing the ruling party's style of leadership for fear of a crime visitor (EFCC). |
Indeed a wonderful piece but it's not a new thing to me. One major problem we have in this country is illiteracy everywhere. Illiteracy can be traced to the problems with boko haram, election violence, and a whole lot of other problems we experience as a nation. When our politicians want to contest for elections, none of their children casts a single vote for them because they're all overseas for solace, whereas the jobless and illiterate masses are the ones who kill themselves for the politicians. No matter how poor and underdeveloped we say the North is, the children of politicians still bag degrees from Ivy league colleges. Everyday of my life I thank God for using my dad to open my eyes to the benefits of education and my kids will definitely get to the zenith of any field they delve into. The truth be told if 50% of Nigerians especially the youths are well educated, 50% of Nigeria's problems (economic, security, etc) would be solved. Once again nice piece Mr. Smoke2015 |
