True, I believe you. I do combat sport, kickboxing specifically, a huge amount of money was once staked on one of our senior fighters to fight in one of their competitions but after the first fight the remaining dambe fighters refused to fight him and requested he be taken out of the competition .

I remember some years ago when this particular bout was going on in my neighborhood, we brought a guy from the stadium to fight the hausa local fighters. This guy was a professional wrestler who later became a silver medalist at the commonwealth games. Despite huge sums of money staked on him, none of those local fighters agreed to fight him. Till today, I'm still wondering why they all refused to engage him in a fight.

Also, if you did physics in high school it would make more sense. Nuclear fission/fusion, plutonium/uranium, radioactive fallout and other technical jargons would not make sense to you if you don't have at least an Introduction to nuclear physics.

Unrelated, but if you're yet to watch Oppenheimer, I'd suggest you read the Wikipedia article on "Manhattan Project" first before watching the movie. It'll enlighten you about the events surrounding the creation of the world's first atomic bomb.

I read the article a day before watching Oppenheimer which helped me understood the movie very well.

Learn C# though it has a steeper learning curve compared to other stacks.

The magic is your phone actually not the sim card. The sim card is a chip that has switches that activate the inbuilt circuits in your phone.

Computers and phones are mainly arranged circuits that on/off at prearranged sequences (that's the programme or software). The screen is also a panel comprising of arranged very tiny bulbs that can turn on/off according to the prearranged sequence (in line with the programme).

When you put in your sim, it merely turns switches in the phone on/off. You can also use the phone to programme the sim which is the information you store in it like phone numbers and messages. When you put the sim in another phone, it activates certain parts of the new phone as you have programmed it and display the results on the screen.

The sim also contains your phone number. Your phone number is an activation sequence. When you dial this number that is unique to you on a phone, you are actually turning switches inside the phone on/off. The 0803 for instance turns the phone's antenna on and activates it to look for signals from the nearest Mtn mast.

The on/off is what computer scientists and mathematicians call binary system. That's what is used to programme a computer or phone application. You've heard it that computers only understand 0 and 1. 0 and 1 simply means on/off. The magic in computers is nothing but turning switches on and off. That's what the sim card does.

That's it in a nutshell. The magic happens in the phone
