Chee59: They preserved the farm yield, the ones they didn't sell and also preserved the animals they caught in preparation for winter. Nice take but I am not talking about the food they ate, I doubt if they suffered from food scarcity even during the winter. I am talking about how they survived the extreme low temperatures with no clothings. |

Lukuluku69: They survive by hunting these animals in Large numbers to cater for their survival needs.
Bisons, Mink, Bears, animals with furs and woolly animals were massacred in large numbers. What Europeans are doing now to protect the Environment were done with reckless abandon back then.
But with Technology and discovery of large Gas Reserves and subsequent exploration, this reduced drastically. At the bolded, the hypocrisy. I imagine those days would be brutal, a total case of survival of the fittest. |

I'm just curious on how they were able to. |

I have always wondered how people were able to survive in areas with cold climate hundreds of years ago, before even the crudest technologies that could weave clothes existed. I know about using the skins of animals like bears for covering but how many of these animals could they catch? |

bobbiiee: If half of their subscribers boycott their services for a month. Wisdom will dawn on them.
I don't understand why organizations arrive at policies without using their brain. My mum wanted to do transfer from 1st bank to another bank. She said they won't give her audience because of the sum she's transferring. I asked her for the sum, she said 82k, I told her I will show them vawulence at counter.
Getting there, the teller she approached said, ma, you can use your phone to transfer it. I screamed at him and every teller there.
Expecting 80 year old woman to be doing her bank transfers online is wickedness. Is it every youth that has a smartphone? Is it everyone that has data? How can you tell me that you attend to customers transferring 200k and above?
They brought out transfer form. Yes, the problem was not caused by those tellers. The useless bank came up with stupid and unfriendly policies.
Let us boycott mtn for a month and see who wins. Name the bank. |

If you come from a poor background, I think there are some courses you better not study in Nigeria even on a full scholarship. If you are not able to get a professional/lucrative course, you'd be better off acquiring lucrative skills or learning trades, then enroll for a degree after finding your feet if you are still interested in one. |

seunny4lif: Yes of course In fact, I think USA is the world largest importer of hard drugs. Do we even have border in Nigeria . The only Nigeria border, I haven’t used is Eastern part of Nigeria. Our border is dead in Northern and Western part of Nigeria including our sea ports and Airports. |

Crime › Re: Mansion Used As Warehouse For 13million Pills Of Tramadol Busted At VGC Lekki by DrBrainstorm(m): 11:31am On Oct 03, 2022 |
seunny4lif: Bro, those drugs sometimes passes borders legally because those are the top and many of those border agents knew, and one of the reason many customs officials are killed. Same agents will not record it and then come back few weeks later or years later if the drugs lords or the border agents have new Boss, that refused to cooperate or DEA or for example just like Nigeria anti-drug officials. Drugs business is a massive business worth Trillions of Dollars meaning there is money there to kill, rape and buy anyone over I get you, my point is if they can pass through the US borders is it our borders that apart from corruption are very porous they can't get through. |

rickleye: Certainly not through their front doors. But rather through tunnels and huge land borders with their southern counterparts. You have no idea how sophisticated some drug traffickers are, they go to great lengths in concealing their consignment among legit goods, that only a "whistle blower" would blow their cover. |

benuejosh: So they want to tell us that this huge amount of drugs passed the ports and it wasn’t detected? Nigerians sha oo.
Secondly, I am sure this can be traced to Developers who have suddenly forgotten about their country and are suddenly in love with the zoo and want the president given to them.
We can do better. The illicit drug market is worth hundreds of billion dollars, tonnes of kilos still make it through the borders of the almighty US regularly even with a strong agency like the DEA. So yes, they most likely were not detected. |
