The police have been accused of taking sides in the herdsmen saga. Residents explained that in instances where the terror herdsmen were either intercepted or nabbed, the police usually shield them at the expense of the locals who are the victims.

1- recruitment already ongoing
2- legislatures of 3 states have already legalised amotekun, to be ratified by their attorneys general.

3- gun licence has been applied for, and would be out by next week.


There's no going back. They need to fulfill every legal means and that's why they haven't started operations yet. Massive recruitment also ongoing. Funding would be from both the government, corporate bodies and private individuals.
