The truth is, there is NO money now, students come from families, there could be 3 undergraduates in that family, they'll need transport to go to school and pocket money of 5-10k to go by(plus hand-outs and whatever else they make you pay for), where will that money come from? November salary has been paid, budgeted for and is already being spent. So except you wan make hunger use you do example, you're an only child or your papa get money, your own school dey start January. FACT.

when did your school start first semester?

safarigirl: Schools resume in January. Just 3 working weeks are left in this year before the Xmas/New year break. Before students can arrange transport money this period that money is scarce and reach school, 2 weeks would've gone. School activities will resume properly in January, but the strike will be called off before the end of the year

If they like they call it off this year or continue it till next year,'am no longer interested'.

I remember when I was in JSS1 my teacher flogged me about 40strokes with koboko, I thought I was going to fall sick, and it was a boarding school no one to report too.

D issue of switching dept is not a funny tin at all especially when u want t switch frm one faculty to anoda or frm a dept that s nt of a high rank(botany et al) to one wit a high rank(med,pharmacy),and even switching frm a dept t anoda dept in d same faculty.
Ensure that,u get concrete info frm d dept u want t switch to b4 even purchasing d form,info like,required gp,d nos of students dey will be accepting, nd if u meet up t d requirements etc.
Cos if u r signed-out of a dept nd u dnt get signed-in into ur desired dept,that means 'admissn forfeited'.
Just pray dt God blesses u wt a gud cox adviser too who wil help u facilitate ur switch,cos most of dem r always relunctant to do so.
To ur first questn,d chances of newly admittd students resuming ds yr is zero,reasn being dt we had just spent 1mont of 2nd sem of whch we wer suppose t spend 4mnths.
