How many tons are in 1,000 cubic of sand? For example how many trips will a 30ton truck have to make per 1,000 cubic of sand?

ANSWER:

First of all, lets note the follow:

* Dry Sand ( fine) 1.2m MT/ Cubic meter
* Dry Sand (Course) 1.6MT / Cubic meter
* Top Soil (Some moisture) 1.44 MT meter
* Ballast .......................................... 1.76MT meter

These meas sand texture defers , so depending on the type of sand realized in your Lagoon , borrow pit or Lake.

In Iyane Era, the sand there is fine , to get a fine course , it has to be dry plant or stock pile to dry before it is sold.

with this 1,000 cubic x 1.2MT = 1,200tons
1,200tons / 30tons = 40trips
