Seun I'm impressed, keep it up at least Nigerians can now have their own classified site. You can add popular cities under the states you already have (covering the 4 regions of such state), let me give you an inaccurate example Lagos-user clicks->VI, Ikoyi,Egbeda,Agege,Badagry, from Ebute Mette etc then the user can post in the closest city. Also users should be able to include their actual location in the final post and it should appear publicly in their post. Another thing, users should be able to register separately except u want to limit it to nairalanders only, also they should be able to edit and DELETE their post I don't have a very good idea to give you, but just in case you never heard about craiglist.com, take a look at it, it's one of the most popular if not the most here so you might be able to pick one or two things there. |

tpia: Is it only Ekiti state that has bad news?
I'm just wondering why you decided to label it a failed state as if these thing happen 24/7 365 days a year.
Hotheadedness isnt only an Ekiti trait, last time I checked. There's another thread in this section about some people who got killed during an Abeokuta PDP rally.
the problem as I see it is we Africans tend to have poor mediation skills. Could be a result of the incessant beatings and whatnot that get unleashed on children from a very young age. We beat ourselves up at the slightest provocation withuot considering other avenues to resolve the problem. hahaha hehehehe that's funny but has nothing to do with the issue on the ground . It might not happen 24/7 but it happens too many time, and this is the exact condition Nigeria is in now. Mind you, i ain't saying EKiti is the worst of them all, just bothered about the state because it's no longer what it used to be. |

tpia: so how does this one incident make Ekiti a failed state? I'm curious.
South Korean legislators recently dealt themselves a number of dirty slaps and heavy blows.
Does that make South Korea a failed state?
I'm not saying what happened was a good thing, but what it shows is people should work on mediation and arbitration skills. Its a common problem that pops up every now and then across Nigeria and Africa. not just that, if you've been following the news from that state then you'd know what i'm talking about *Toyinrayo: Hmmmmm, omo ekiti |
Politics › Re: Lawmakers Again! Why Ekiti? by dreeldee(op): 5:11pm On Dec 31, 2008 |
KarmaMod: Plenty of organizations for that state alone, there's plenty one can do. Interesting! I wouldn't mind if you could introduce me to some of them nuzo: Simple question; why would it have to be ekiti legislators all the time? Na them like 'ghana must go' pass? However, i can only contribute by calling for all the ekiti lawmakers to be checked into a psychiatric hospital as all of them seem to be mentally derailed. Check out the pix if you think its a lie. Quick question, how's your state any better? I'm only concerned about Ekiti because it's my state not because it's the worst |
Politics › Re: Lawmakers Again! Why Ekiti? by dreeldee(op): 4:53pm On Dec 31, 2008 |
nuzo: Lol. . . . what a joke. When was ekiti state a pacesetter?
The british parliament would throw chairs on behalf of their constituencies, while their naija counterparts (especially ekiti reps) throw chairs and blows for "ghana must go" Shameless set of people. Yup with the numerous brains from the state and "Shameless set of people." KarmaMod: nuzo, your excuse is a joke
and what are YOU doing about it? Other than crying of course? Well I can't do much because I'm not in the position to effect much change but the little i can, I'm trying. Remember also that this whole thing is a result of the rulers |
