Don't ever see yourself to have failed otherwise, you have failed already. You have to be steadfast in your dealings and never look down on yourself, if you do that means you have inferiority complex and it weigh one down more than cancer.

At your age i was in 200 Level, i graduated exactly 30, to God be the glory, here i am today gainfully employed, even most of my Secondary School mate who were fortunate to had gotten admission and graduated before i entered University were today envy my achievement, indeed is not how far but how well.

The bitter truth is that, the soldier is suffering from post war syndrome.

Ideally, any soldier that experienced the agony of war should be psychologically certified, before being posted back to their units. Because they will definitely misbehave when they are back from the front line as a result of war experience.

This remind of my days in Federal polytechnic Offa, During one of our Aluta in
2004, we marched enmass to the the Rector's office, Dr Razak Bello then, He came out and addressed us, having exhaust all our agenda, we requested that in his capacity, he should try to help us fight the Dichotomy between Bsc and HND, his reply was what led me to go to University. he says '' even at the entry level, Polytechnic requests for 4 O'level Credit while University requests for 5 O'level Credit '' since that day, i had already made up my mind for varsity education, which i eventually did.

This bill is long overdue and is a welcome development, Because of the scarcity of varsity admission which has been prompting most students to opt for Polytechnic education, all of us cannot go to University.

The bitter truth is that, the compliance level will be very low, though in Public Sector they will comply, but i can tell you ahead of time that in private sector, the discrimination continues, most especially the multinational companies, like Big 4, we have in accounting. the likes of PWC, KPMG, Ernest & Young and Delliotte.

I could remember vividly on nation wide news few minutes pass 4, the announcement of New COAS was done, when I first heard the name it sounds like Bukar Yusuf, I was even telling my Uncle whom we were watching it together that the man must either be from Borno or Yobe. Alas! When they wrote his name Lt Gen Luka Yusuf was boldly written. He was a member of 14 RC a seasoned Artillery officer.

By and large, let me state categorically without mincing words Lt Gen Luka Yusuf was appointed by Umar Yaradua, the duo are of a blessed memory, I watched it live in 2017 " as e dey hot"

37RC, ALLAH ne ya baku. Maj Gen Faruk Yahaya, May God guide you through the hurdle as you are about to take the mantle of leadership and take us to the promise land, as everybody knows this is most difficult time to paddle the canoe of the Nigerian Army.

As much as i agree with the allegation that majority of the appointments, PMB did, he chose the North above every other region, which is very bad. In respect of the position of COAS, there are a lot of factors, that come to play when the appointment of service chief is about to be unveil. The bitter truth of about this position is that is PURE POLITICAL, and as such a lot of factors are consider before conclusion is made. As soon as Lt Gen. Attahiru died i know that, the next COAS is from the North, though we have some senior officer that are course mate of Gen Attahiru (35 RC), such as Maj Ben. Ahanotu, Maj Gen CT Olukoju and host of others in course 35 alone, so also in 36 RC, But the bitter truth is that, for the fact that in the appointment of service chief, they try to balance the equation, out of the 4 position 2 will go to the south and 2 to the north, before the dissolution of the previous service chief, Gen Olonoshakin from SW (CDS) VICE ADMIRAL Ikot ibas from SS (CNS) while COAS Lt Gen. Buratai and Air marshall Sadiq (CAS) are from the north. It is pertinent to note that this appointment is 2 by 2, North to South, it will be ridiculous for PMB to appoint someone from south in lieu of northerner when Lt Gen. Attaihiru died. Maj F Yahaya is a member of 37RC, Meaning that, 35 and 36 RC are about to retired.

Maj Gen Danjuma Ali-keffi is one of the rugged and brave General we still have in the service, he demonstrated that on several occasions in front line, he always lead by example.

However, being a member of 38RC, his appointment as COAS means a lot to very senior Generals, that is, 35, 36 and 37RC will bow out from the service.

This is indeed a national loss, May God grant them eternal rest.
The New COAS Will be announce in next 24hrs, because vacuum wouldn't be tolerated.
