Any day any time, I belong to that old school method of raising children. That was what moulded many people of our generation.

Am happy that my children are undergoing that tutelage, they will only appreciate it when they are independent.

Sometimes when I read why some undergraduate committed suicide I will just shake my head, I read about one that he committed suicide because his lecturer frustrated him about his project.

You can't undergo old school treatment and fall for all those crap, I know so many guys that were expelled in the university as a result of miscarriage of Justice, they put it behind them, wrote another JAMB these are guys in ( 400 & 500 level) went to other varsity, they are doing great today.

Their upbringing prepared them for the worst.

Sacking of OLE is imminent, November to be precise.

However, going by the next 5 fixtures of Man utd, which are.

Toteham
Man City
Watford
Chelsea
Arsenal.

The above is sufficient to measure whether he will stand the test of time, based on the current performance the best results he could gather from that 15 points is 7points as such, it will not augur well with the team, thus, he would be sacked.

AMIR of ISWAP don turn death sentence, i like the tempo, in as much as we can maintain this, definitely we have put fear in their minds.

once your enemy are afraid, you are an inch ahead of them. Besides, when no one can assume the mantle of leadership (AMIR) that means they have been polarised and big vacuum set in. we should take full advantage of that.

Sorry for replying late.

The Lake Chad is a large river with so many islands spread across.

Baga area covered by Military is just 20% of the Lake Chad Basin.
Most of these locals live in IDP camps controlled under military, Government and INGOs. Let me be frank with you all its not sustainable staying in camps with barely three square meal. The Government cannot feed its people and solely depends on NGOs to feed them. But how many people can NGOs feed? In my area of responsibility we have of 70,000 individuals in IDP Camp. Its definitely not easy feeding 70,000 everyday. we aint even talking of clothing and other stuffs.

Now ISWAP comes to you that you can come fishing in their territory and just pay tax. while the Government and Military keeps you in Camp waiting on crumbs.

An average fisherman in Lake Chad can make not less than 400k in fish sales now. Lets assume from the 400k ypu are taxed 100k monthly by ISWAP and you have 300k For your needs.

If you are from the Bunduma clan and you are given option to stay in a camp waiting for crumbs or make 300k which option will you go for? grin grin.

I was tempted to get into that business. You buy fish at very cheap rate from coded fishermen and give to drivers who use illegal routes at midnights to Maiduguri. However, those illegal routes they must still pay checkpoint fees to ISWAP.

From the cash outlay i did. with an investment of one million naira in it. I should coast home with 6Million as profit before month end.

Fear no gree me take the risk shaaaaa
Baba, you for give am trial, fear wey no say make you no take NGO in NE.
EducationRe: My project supervisor wants to take credit for my research work by Drefaithful(m): 10:04am On Oct 25, 2021

My final year project supervisor called me to summarize my research work of 2 years for publication. He sent me a copy of one of his ex-student work that he published. It was only his ex student who did the work with guidance from my supervisor, but the published paper has two authors; my supervisor (main author) and his ex student. Only my supervisor's contact was also in the paper.

I strongly believe that's what he will also do with mine. Should I give him the go ahead? If I don't publish it, it will probably rot. Or is there a way for me to publish it myself?
Your lecturer is a good man, most Nigerian lecturer leverage on the work of their students, majority of them didn't notify those students.

Besides, in the course of writing the project most of them will guide you towards the direction they wanted, sometimes they will be the one to give you the topic and tailor your research towards their needs. Is never a new thing in the academic arena.

Both Command Secondary School and Army Day Secondary School located in a Barracks, but the former is administered by Nigeria Army Education Corps (NAEC) whilst the latter is Governed by the State of government of any state is situated.

Every command school has a good standard in term of discipline and education though the school fees is a little bit higher, whereas, Army Day is at the mercy of the state government, we all know what the state owned school look alike in our various environment, except for few of them.

Some cadets went to make trouble in KASU yesterday during matric because of a girl, if not for God they would have been lynched to death the vehicle they came in with was destroyed. I just hope the news dosent get to Aca cos them fit allow them reach final year before expelling them. One would have thought that with the security issues in kaduna cadets will lie low for their own safety but some of them still go AWOL despite knowing the consequences of their action.(No be juju be that?)
Those boys............
" ka bari kawaiii "

what some people struggled hard to earn, eventually they could not make the list, sometimes if you see the way some cadets behalf in spite of 200% discipline in ACA, you will just shake your head.

I was a member of 69rc, my coursemates are current 5th termers in the academy, was withdrawn last year when I was hanging 3bars. The problem now is that I applied academy again and I made it(73rc), but I'm supposed to be happy, I'm not happy, I'm sad, I'm depressed, can't get it together, don't really know what's wrong with me, is it normal guys?
My advice for you is to be on a low key, those boys you chawus when they were clowns will come for your head and mind you your former course mate will not even look at your side, give it a thorough thought, wish you all the best.

Let me share this story with you.

Sometimes in the Academy more than 10 years ago, there was a young lecturer who taught cadets but he decided to join via SSC , he eventually got it.

Could you believe that his students almost killed him, to the extent that he couldn't continue, he served job through out the night for 3days consecutively he couldn't sleep for 72 hrs, Baba almost ran mad.

Baba later dash.

The essence of my epistle is that you should know what you want to get your self in. Though having spent 3years in the Academy is sufficient for you to prepare for the worse, but you never can tell what those boys in the Academy are up to.

By and large, I wish you all the best in any decisions you eventually taken.

If you hear the crimes/atrocities some of the dismissed cadets commited you would justify their dismissal. It's better they're flushed out of the system now before they get commissioned and bring disgrace to the army, we can all testify to the uselessness of the NPF today it was acts of indiscipline that was left to fester in the system that brought them to this state.
FYI some cadets even go as far as raping their junior female cadets, some came in with forged credentials forget matter plenty, cadets no dey hear word.
As much as I agree with your submission but some Cadets were withdrawn as a result of miscarriage of Justice.

Above all, if you are not meant to hang the peep forget it, you wouldn't.

So this evening I was just going through my phone when I noticed an unread message. I opened it to see the details in it were 90% correct. The name of the messanger is different from what truecaller gave me. Without reading the message twice, I knew it was a scammer at work. I've never been scammed and I don't pray I fall victim of any of their tactics. The surprising thing is how accurate the little information about me he gave out in the message.

Please let us all be careful of these scammers.

I've been working in a bank for 6 months+ as a Marketer, but just last week I was called from KPMG to know if I'm interested in an intern role for 1 year...

What's your advice for me??

Do you know anyone with Intern experience with KPMGhuh
You don't need a soothsayer to tell you this, 1 year experience as an intern in KPMG is far better than 5 years experience as a marketer In the bank.

Please young man, don't miss the golden opportunity, the Big 4 ( KPMG, PWC, E&Y and DELLIOTT) are CV booster any where in the world, I have a friend who worked in PWC in Nigeria, he relocated to Canada, he got employed in Canada to the same PWC, Canada.

My offense was that my sister called me that my mom fainted and they rushed her to the hospital that her left leg and left hand paralyzed.

I asked for permission in school just to go see her since she only have me and her sister but i was denied the permission.

My mind was not at peace knowing the way my younger sister was crying on phone and she has no one to stay with her.

I left without the permission and was close arrest after a week of being abs in sch.

I was charged for awol and was surprised to see the outcome as dismissed.

I have accepted my faith

I look forward to seeing myself in a better place again. cry

Please pray for my mom, don't want to loose school and my mum.
