Jamb need to open more centres and should stop making registration impossible for candidates. Somebody needs to call jamb to order, maybe the NASS. Imagine the impact of this restriction in terms of finances, time and dangers of long distance travel.

Same here too. Says "RESULT NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CANDIDATE IN THE SPECIFIED YEAR". The only explanation to this is that they are still uploading.

Ask first frm banks near unilag or yabatech before embarking on d journey to ado ekiti.

Simply start as a fresh applicant if you have not input your e-tranzact PIN. If you have input the PIN payment start as continue application.

When you pay at the bank, they will log into yabatech website and automatically register you for the PUTME. All your records are already with yabatech if you choose them as first choice. And that is why they will not consider second choice because you do not have any way to enter your details if you choose the college as second choice (they don't have the record for second choice).
Once the bank gives you the payment slip printed with yabatech logo, you have concluded your registration. It is not a scam. No one can register JAMB candidate without the access code.If about 1.5 million candidates registered, then a lot of cybercafes were registered and given the access codes. However, their emails are poorly managed. But, did you send the scanned teller of your payment to them as instructed? The other matter is that, would JAMB ever return the ten grand deposit? Or JAMB don chop that one clean mouth?

9am, still 'server unavailable' and everyone is in a rush to register because today is expected to be the last day for registration. There is even no official record of the closing date anywhere except the one on the scratch card (they even use the tiniest of prints to do this so that nobody would notice it). What is the game plan JAMB? This is frustration at the extreme. Nigeria where nothing is expected to work, even ICT proffs are compromised.

Yea, the dough is really important. This is just a business venture and profit must be maximized. It is very likely that it will be extended. They must have extension in mind since they change the former card to this new one with a new date. Just my opinion.

@specialiss, the text in front of the new scratch cards at the lower right hand corner states that "Please note that this Card CANNOT be used after 11th March 2012". This looks like a new date, different from the Feb. 2nd earlier indicated on the older cards. Is March 11th 2012 the closing date for registration of candidates? Please help to confirm. They've been selling these cards for some time now.

And this mean that JAMB registration can only be done at the registered Cybercafes? Which means, even if you have all the facilities you cannot do your own registration by yourself. This policy is rather retrogressive in this ICT driven age with so much increasing computer literacy and awareness. Though there maybe the need to regulate but this is rather too restrictive. Thumbs down for JAMB on this one.
