Politics / Govt. Should Be Proactive: Long Time Storage Of Chemicals Can Explode (Video) by dregmaster: 1:21pm On Jan 24
Government should be proactive by ensuring that various warehouses across the country don't contain chemicals that have been stored for a long time. Such chemicals can explode anytime and the force of such explosion can be devastating, depending on the type and quantity. Especially in densely populated areas like Lagos, Abuja, Kano, etc. The one that happened in Ibadan maybe a child's play.
The video below was viral some years ago in Lebanon. May we not experience this type of explosion.
Government at all levels over to you.

Strange but true.

Did you know that today the whole world is of the same age! Today is a very special day and only happens once every thousand (1,000) years.

Your age + your year of birth, every person = 2022.

It's so strange that even experts can't explain it! You check it out and see if it's 2022. It has been waiting for a thousand years!

Example:
If I am 19 years old.
And was born in 2003.
So 19+2003= 2022

Another example:
Born in 1967 and I am 55 years old.
1967 +55=2022

Magical isn't it?

Let's all join hands to salvage the situation, at least for the generation coming. To surrender to fate is what the detractors want from us.

MadamExcellency:
This is even an understatement. Two very great tribes (Igbo, Yoruba and their ethnic neighbours) that should team up to storm Africa and the World with modern civilisation and neuroscience/Artificial Intelligence/Robotic technology are here messing around with tribalism and partly religious intolerance.

Bunch of repressive.

Let them continue, our children will curse the hell out of them for being this foolish and ruining their future and generations unborn.

By Taju Tijani

Today, Ndigbo and Yoruba are faced with a stark choice: either work together to defeat a common enemy or stay aloof and allow Fulani invaders send us to untimely hell.

There are two ways to conquer a country. Either by sword or death – John Adams

Yoruba and Ndigbo the two valiant ethnic groups that made the third leg of the tripod are now trapped in a tight corner. It seems like Yoruba and Ndigbo are sitting targets waiting for the Fulani fusillade to start raining on them. It is my observable paradox. Anywhere you go, the talk of the town is the ubiquitous and armed Fulani roaming our forests, carving out territories everywhere and putting everyone in fear. We are all caught in the web of a well-coordinated Caliphate agenda obsessed with dipping a mythic Northern Quran into the Southern Atlantic Ocean.

Insecurity has raised our stress level. Frightened Nigerians could no longer manage their high blood condition. It is now permanently high. Social life has gone into the cooler. Night life has taken a dive. All roads are not safe. A trip out of town is like daring death in the face. People I spoke to dream of fleeing Nigeria for a safer pasture. Nigerians have lost faith in our security forces and the manner they execute our security architecture.

We are now paying dearly for the evil amalgamation of Southern Nigeria with the North. Western education has not shaken the North from its theocratic hell hole. The Fulani clan still feed their heads with murderous caliphate shenanigans of Islamic domination, violence, control, and subjection.

Primitive sharia’s supremacy matters more to them than nation building. The religious ideology that encourages a man to marry 13-year-olds finds resonance with our Northern enemies than sending these girls to the moon as scientists. Sharia has reduced the North to a wasteland of Islamic backwardness, social and economic stagnation, decay, poverty, and perpetual death. The Fulani social tribe dominate the government but what has that done to the abysmal condition of the people of Katsina, President's home state? Naffing!!!

Therefore, as we sail into a seismic moment of inevitable Jihadist take over, what is then left for the Yoruba and Ndigbo as a response? From now on,
they must be denied the privilege of deciding who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. No more Southern timidity. We have reached a tipping point where Yoruba and Ndigbo must now begin to buga. Buga in the sense that we must join hands together to fight a common enemy that is making assiduous plan to annihilate us. This is the time to end our generational tribal animosity and suspicion.

We must rest the ghost of Chief Obafemi Awolowo as the architect of Ndigbo’s war time misfortune. No more tribally fuelled and self-aggrandising tosh of who is superior. We must shut down all incendiary narratives of mutual hatred. We have been paying dearly for this state of perpetual media-scripted war against each other. The change has begun with Peter Obi. Millions of Yoruba are regrooving behind Peter Obi as the deal rather than Tinubu. Pa Ayo Adebanjo has staked all his bet on him all the way. There is no myth so dangerous and insidious, as the narrative that Yoruba and Ndigbo cannot work together.

Today, Ndigbo and Yoruba are faced with a stark choice: either work together to defeat a common enemy or stay aloof and allow Fulani invaders send us to untimely hell. This is an epochal moment that requires us to fight for common interest and survival. We must treasure a new partnership based on collaborative protests, uprisings, and armed self-defence system for the masses, on a military level that equals the invading Fulani fighters. Nigeria has entered a revolutionary moment that would lead to the reformation of our society. Our level of aggression must be higher than the threat posed by Fulani fighters.

The Fulani foot soldiers have vowed to destroy us block by block until Kashim Shettima Mustafa is imposed as leader of Republic of Boko Haram. Tinubu, if he ever gets to the Presidential palace, will be a mere ceremonial, siddon look leader, on a life support machine until his life is switched off! The agenda of our collective buga, boldness, courage and sacrifice will be to conquer and drive out Fulani from every inch of Southern Nigeria. The Indian uprising led by Tupac Amaru II in Peru at the end of the eighteenth century is a well-known self-defence. The Indians rose up, by tens of thousands, drove out the criollo invaders and land grabbers, killed the Spaniards on the spot, and recovered the land stolen from them by the encomienda system – equivalent of the aborted RUGA plan.

There is no more pretence. Nigeria is at war. It is not conventional, and trench led. Though the true character of the war is being concealed, but we all know that it is Fulani surreptitious armed rebellion to overrun Nigeria and perpetuate their Islamic hegemony and dictatorship. In response to this Armageddon, Yoruba and Ndigbo must play important rescue role in the formation of forces of liberation – armed self-defence, sabotage, guerrilla warfare, mass uprising, endless protests, tactical encirclements of Fulani forests, spontaneous insurrection, strikes and workers’ demonstrations.

Nigeria is currentlly at the last stage of degeneration. Fulani terrorists have sharpened our teeth. And we are now ready to bite and bite to the death. So, no more mugu. Yoruba and Ndigbo must now buga!!!

Ochyes:
Top 10 Countries Where Government Beg Citizens to Have More S*x

This might sound ridiculous, but do you know that there are countries where citizens are being begged by the government to have more s*x? Have a look at the s*x-starved nations.

There are few things more important than fertility in determining a nation's future viability.

Demographers suggest that a country needs a fertility rate of just over two children per woman to hit "replacement fertility" — the rate at which new births fill the spaces left behind by deaths.

But because of certain cultural and economic forces, only about half of the world's 224 countries currently hit replacement fertility.

For those that don't, encouraging people to have sex can involve strategies that range from highly explicit to downright bizarre.

1. Denmark

If you aren't going to have a kid for your own family, Danes are told, at least do it for Denmark.

No, literally, do it for Denmark.

The small Nordic country has such a low fertility rate — about 1.73 children per woman — that Spies Rejser, a Danish travel company, has come up with ingenious incentives to persuade women to get pregnant.

First, it offered to provide three years' worth of baby supplies to couples who conceived on a vacation booked through the company.

Now it has come up with a sexy campaign video titled "Do it for Mom," which guilt trips couples into having kids to give their precious mothers a grandchild.

2. Russia

Vladimir Putin once brought Boyz II Men to Moscow to rile men up right before Valentine's Day.

Can anyone blame him? As Tech Insider recently reported, the country is experiencing a perfect demographic storm. Men are dying young. HIV/AIDS and alcoholism are crippling the country. And women aren't having babies.

The problem got so bad that in 2007 Russia declared September 12 the official Day of Conception.

On the Day of Conception, people get the day off to focus on having kids. Women who give birth exactly nine months later, on June 12, win a refrigerator.

3. Japan

Japan's fertility rate has been below replacement since 1975.

To offset that decades-long trend, in 2010 a group of students from the University of Tsukuba introduced Yotaro, a robot baby that gives couples a preview of parenthood.

If men and women begin thinking of themselves as potential fathers and mothers, the students theorized, they'll feel emotionally ready to take a stab at the real thing.

4. Romania

The 1960s in Romania were a perilous time for couples.

Population growth flatlined, prompting the government to impose a 20% income tax for childless couples and to implement provisions that made divorce nearly impossible.

The idea was: If you weren't contributing to the communist state by creating future laborers, you had to contribute with dollars instead.

The 1980s weren't much better, however — women faced forced gynecological exams that were performed by "demographic command units" to ensure pregnancies went to term. When Romanian leadership changed in 1989, the brutal policy finally came crashing down. But at 1.31 children per woman, the fertility rate is still well below replacement.

5. Singapore

Singapore has the lowest fertility rate in the world, at just 0.81 children per woman.

On August 9, 2012, the Singaporean government held National Night, an event sponsored by the breath-mint company Mentos, to encourage couples to "let their patriotism explode."

The country has also placed a limit on the number of small one-bedroom apartments available for rent to encourage people to live together and, presumably, procreate.

Each year the government spends roughly $1.6 billion on programs to get people to have more sex.

6. South Korea

On the third Wednesday of every month, South Korean offices shut their lights off at 7 p.m. It's known as Family Day.

With a fertility rate of just 1.25 children per woman, the country takes any steps it can to promote family life — even offering cash incentives to people who have more than one child.

7. India

India as a whole has no problem with fertility — the country's ratio of 2.48 children per woman is well above replacement.

But the number of people in India's Parsis community is dwindling — it shrank from roughly 114,000 people in 1941 to just 61,000 in 2001, according to the 2001 census.

That problem led to a series of provocative ads in 2014, including one that read "Be responsible — don't use a condom tonight." Another, geared toward men who lived at home, asked, "Isn't it time you broke up with your Mum?"

The ads seem to be working: By the latest measure, the population has inched back to 69,000.

8. Italy

With a fertility rate of 1.43 — well below the European average of 1.58 — Italy has taken a controversial approach to encourage citizens to have more kids.

As Bloomberg reports, the country has been running a series of ads reminding Italians that time might be running out and that kids don't just come from nowhere.

"Beauty knows no age, fertility does," one ad said. "Get going! Don't wait for the stork," another said.

Couples haven't responded positively to the guilt trip. Francesco Daveri, a professor of economics at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, has called the ads a failure.

9. Hong Kong

With a fertility rate of just 1.18 children per woman, Hong Kong faces the same challenge as many industrialized countries: Without enough young people to replace aging citizens, populations are dwindling and economic growth is slowing.

In 2013, the country proposed giving cash handouts to couples to encourage them to have kids.

The idea took its cue from Singapore, where parents receive a "baby bonus" of about $4,400 for their first two children and $5,900 for their third and fourth.

But in Hong Kong, the plan never came to life.

10. Spain

Fertility rates in Spain are creeping downward while unemployment is rising: About half of all young people don't have a job. It's the second-highest rate in Europe, behind Greece.

To combat the worrying trends, the Spanish government hired a special commissioner, Edelmira Barreira, in January 2017. Her first tasks are finding the myriad causes of the trend and devising macro strategies to reverse it .

"We have a lot of work ahead of us," Barreira told the Spanish newspaper Faro De Vigo

Family / MIL: How To Bear The Faults Of Your DIL by dregmaster: 5:09pm On Jul 18, 2022
Saw this somewhere. MIL no suppose dey fight DIL.

“Barely three weeks after my son’s wedding and honeymoon, I noticed a rather unusual pattern of him “stopping by” my place on his way home in the evenings. I thought he was just missing his original home. I asked him why but he gave no reasonable answer. He always asked for dinner when he came around, which was rather odd for a newly married man.

On his fourth visit, he came with one of his friends who was well known to me. I confided in his friend, who simply told me that his new wife “cannot cook”. In fact, on the days he doesn’t stop by, he eats at that friend’s house or he eats out.

This was fire on the mountain, the choice was between me encouraging him to eat outside at another household and risk ending his marriage or save the day. I opted for the latter.

When he showed up again on Friday evening, I told him to tell his wife to see me on Saturday morning, we needed to go somewhere together, it was a woman’s thing. She came as I requested and I told her I was entertaining my Church Society members and needed to cook for them. She was to assist me with shopping for the cooking. I noticed the fright on her face.

After returning home from the shopping, I told her she wasn’t cooking because the people involved had very peculiar tastes, she was however to pay attention to all that I did in the kitchen. We finished (or I finished) all the cooking in about four hours. I made four different soups that I knew my son loved, made different stews with chicken, fish and beef and steaming jolls of rice.

After finishing, I told her to divide everything we cooked into two equal portions. She was surprised when I told her to take one portion with her when she was going home. I knew the food would last about six weeks, and as predicted, my son did not show up at my door until week seven. I knew the food had finished. So I repeated the same process again, telling him to tell his wife to see me when he got home.

By the third time we did this, I let her do the cooking whilst I supervised her. I never mentioned anything to her. By the fifth time, she had gotten a hang of things, even better than I imagined. On her way home, she hugged me passionately and said “Thank you Mum, you saved my marriage and you never even scolded me.”

I am told that with my son’s encouragement, she is now contemplating on opening a restaurant.

Rather than being the catalyst to scatter my son’s marriage, I opted for encouraging them in love for them to attain a better and deeper understanding.”

Encourage someone in love today, you just might be saving something very fundamental.

What do you think?

TINUBU AND ATIKU DID NOT STOP: WE THE IGBOS STOPPED OURSELVES.

Ebonyi State had 39 delegates in the APC presidential primary election that just ended. Out of that figure, Engr David Umahi got 38 votes; Dr Ogbonnaya Onu got 1 vote making it 39. Imo had 52 delegates. Rochas Okorocha got zero. Emeka Nwajiuba got only 1 vote. Where did Imo votes go? They simply voted for Tinubu of the Yoruba extraction. Anambra State had about 100 delegates, Ikeobasi Mokelu from Anambra got zero vote. Where did Anambra votes go? Simply they went to Tinubu and Amaechi. They didn't vote for a South Eastern aspirant. Abia had about 100 delegates. They didn't vote for a South Eastern aspirant. They voted for Sen. Dr Ahmed Lawan of the North East. Enugu had about 50 delegates. They didn't vote for a South Eastern aspirant. They possibly shared their votes to Tinubu and Amaechi.

Tomorrow, South East will be chanting the song of marginalisation when it's clear that apart from Ebonyi State, other South East States are a sellout in the struggle to have South Eastern persons grabbing presidential tickets of major political parties in Nigeria. This they replicated in the presidential primary of the PDP. Only Ebonyi State delegates delivered a South Easterner --- Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim 100 percent. Anambra, Enugu, Abia and Imo States sold theirs. It's important that people of the South East who aren't into politics note this. When we talk about the state that has interest of the Igbo at heart politically, only Ebonyi State comes to mind.
With this kind of mentality by the other four South East States, the Igbo man doesn't stand a chance into the Aso Rock apart from a situation of the Yar'dua and Goodluck Jonathan repeats. In the Enugu-Onitsha expressway construction project linking the West African states, Ebonyi State constructed its own portion. Enugu and Anambra States did away with theirs. Today, these sections are almost in a state of impassability. I hope Igbo people are taking record of this so that by tomorrow, whoever is complaining should know the quarters to take their complaints to.

Igbos are the ones marginalising themselves and when the judgement comes to fore, Ebonyi State should be excluded from the statistics of the South East States that are mercantile in politics and anti Igbo political movement and philosophy. Congratulations to Ndi Ebonyi for the exemplary outings they have undertaken so far.

When a lady is very comfortable with you, she will look for your trouble because it gives them joy. They are quite emotional and the next minute they will tell you sorry or they really don't mean or can't you take a joke.
And most women are like that. Meaning you must learn to live with it.
What should be your response as a man?
You should be angry with them but know it within yourself that both of you are just catching cruise. Never respond in violence.
Surprisingly, she'll show you her best side the next minute.
Know it, she's just catching cruise, enjoy it.
This is part of the knowledge you need to live successfully with women.

You may disagree but try it. But please don't ever beat your wife o.

Ghostcity:
Hello everyone I have been wanting to share this good new with guys since last month, but I had to wait till I receive my visa which I got this morning, just picked up my passport this afternoon from the embassy. mehn am so happy finally leaving this country, What started like a dream is now reality.
So how did I get this job from Nigeria, I was surfing the net this particular day, then came across a post talking about becoming an ALT (assistant language teacher) and working in Japan.
So I read the article carefully, research more about ALTs in Japan. Then I started applying to various japanese company. The good thing about the whole process is the requirements are very basic like having a bachelor degree, received at least 12 years of education in English language and lastly *coming from an English speaking country* ( you most be a native English speaker) is the main criteria for applying for this job.
*Who are ALTs*: ALTs (assistant language teacher) are basically people from native English speaking countries i.e Nigerians, American, Canadians, British etc. That are willing to move to another country that's not an English speaking country i.e Japan, china, south Korea etc to teach English as foreign language in elementary and middle school in Japan.
So if you Nigerian, you hold a bachelor degree (from any discipline) and you passionate about teaching especially young kids. *Then Know you very much needed in Japan*.
*Note:* The Job is very competitive, so try applying to as much japanese companies as possible to increase your chances of getting interviewed via video Skye and hopefully securing the job, afterwards.
If you have any teaching experience or TEFL (teaching English as foreign language) certification is an added advantage for you. so I used my nysc teaching experience and got the TEFL certificate from teacherrecords.com just sign up take the classes and exam then you get the certificate. This helps to boost your chances of securing the job. The certificate is completely free on that website. Mehn am tired of tying, lemme go celebrate. feel free to dm me about any question or inquiry.
Lastly the work is contract based and so the company renew every year, if they pleased with your performance.
My starting salary is about 280,000 yen roughly 2500usd per month (basic salary plus other bonuses added).
There's no application fee for this job so apply to as many as possible. Just Google about it to get started and free to email me if you having issues applying at successforever321@gmail.com
