Nothing can shock me any longer again after I was selected and shortlisted for DSSC 28 Navy training and all of a sudden they lied I am not fit again after I have passed all stages in Ojo Lagos to get to that point. It took me a year and some months to get another job. Train yourself to be strong. Don't depend solely on one thing.

"Today and Monday" is the average of "this week or next week max" as speculated by those who have a "credible source".
That is assuming that mails won't be sent on weekends. But information from previous threads says mails have been sent on weekends. So what is the source of your feelings abi na sauce? You just dey cap?
However, I feel very strongly about your feelings irrespective of its source.

This will be my major challenge if finally considered for the scholarship. I don't have my Msc. transcript, even during interviews, it was my progress report (issued by my department after course work) that helped me. Lucky for me the progress report included my CGPA. If finally selected, I have no option than to differ the offer because end to ASUU strike is not in sight. Sadly, one can't apply for admission without that transcript.

Typically PTDF issues an award letter stating that they will pay your tuition and your upkeep and that will be used to apply for the student visa and is sufficient evidence of proof of funds

Transcripts optional? I think you mean "official" transcripts are optional before admission but required afterwards. Some schools accept student's copy of transcripts for admission.

You guys are still dragging this issue? Wow! I thought we've said it several times before here that PTDF could decide to do whatever it wished with anyone's application. What then would we say about people who didn't even apply or submit their applications, yet they were called for interview while some probably go on to win the award?

Each one should just go and intensify his/her prayers. Anything can happen... Any one can be favoured.

Who said he didn't perform better than those in the other list? His performance might have been outstanding but he was still bettered by a few in the UK category, so rather than waste him, they pushed him to the other category. Why waste a good candidate?
That could be a good reason for giving him rather than dropping him because he didn't pick any FGM country.

Always remember, the helper(ptdf) is at liberty to help however it see fit to whoever it chooses.

The published interview list clearly shows a clear demarcation between UK applicants and GFM applicants. This shows that the final shortlisting is done based on those two categories. Though there are exceptional cases were a UK applicant is given one of GFM award (Emphasis on exceptional cases) but not vice-versa . It doesn't mean he performed better than those of GFM. It also doesn't mean you're competing with the whole over 150 or 250 applicants from your state .
