@sharpman

Thanks bro, actually i submitted all the documents required and up to date, we sent pictures, chat logs, video calls etc. I guess the problem started from how we met and blah blah, using his psychology and how he was trained, maybe he thought my story wasn't sound enough but in reality everything is real. You know every case differs and circumstances can decide how your relationship will pick up, most of all these COs don't understand this though I know they are doing what they were trained for and coupled with the fact Nigeria is a high fraud risk country when it comes to immigration , i totally understand with them ..... Remember, he didn't check the documents I came with. How Kong does CR1 take? Do they deny people on CR1 too? The while thing is son frustrating .
Hi, I am so sorry about the denial, I am always sad when genuine applicants are denied. First, how long did she stay and how many weeks. Did she front load? Did she visit again? How did she migrate to the US. The CO gave you a chance when he asked for the second divorce certificate, he probably made his decision from the file in front of him and he never bothered about the evidence with you. They will send your case back to uscis and leave it there to expire. CR1 takes 1-2 years and they deny it too but you can fight that but K1 can’t be fight for. Best advice is for her to visit you again and you guys should figure out your red flags and file for CR1. Like I always say, make your research, the embassy guys are always looking for ways to deny. It’s not a walk in the park anymore. Best of luck bro. Please visit visajourney.com. That site is heaven for immigration.

I made sure i filled every damn form.....and got her to sign where necessary. I didn't want to hear that any mistake occurred.

One needs to be carefule as those guys are looking for any excuse to delay or deny.
Lol, I am telling you, I don’t wanna hear “I didn’t know”. Reviews have dropped considerably on vj. These guys ain’t playing. They just cancelled asylum for Central Americans.

And the funny thing is that he did not have to write anything. I did not even tick anything on item number 38 on page 4.

I simply typed

'N/A (FILING I-129F FOR MY FIANCE TO BEGIN K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE).'.

That's why it is good to look at sample forms or ask questions when filling those forms.
I think my wife wrote she is going to support me til I am a citizen. US immigration has changed now. People shouldn’t think because K1/CR1 is filed, it will be a walk in the park. Make your research, everyone case is different.

Hey Guys I was approved!
Thank you all for your contributions on here and my special appreciations goes to Drenimarcus and LegitBachelor

Documents submitted:
1. Police Report
2. Affidavit of support
3. Medical Report
4. 2017 $ 2018 Tax Transcripts

Documents with me that was not checked or asked for:
1. W2
2. Pay stubs

I was interviewed by a lovely/friendly white lady. She was the CO I actually wanted grin because she was friendly. My interview was less than 7mins and the following questions were asked:

Who petition for you

How did you meet

How does her parent feels about your relationship

When did you start communicating

What’s Your mode of communication

Show me some chat histories (I had loads of screenshots from WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.Like I had over 250 copies of A4 papers with each paper containing 9 screenshots.lol She went straight to the middle of the A4 papers. She picked a sheet, started reading and questions were coming in left and right from that single paper) I almost messed up but thank God for his grace and mercy.

What do you do

Tell me about your role

I can see you have B.Eng, what field?

Then she said, I will approve your visa. It will be ready in 2 weeks time and she gave me 2 white papers. She did not check our pictures
Congratulations bro! Glad it ended in praise. Start packing your bags cheesy cheesy

I had my interview and was approved but I was given a slip that says I should get a joint sponsor and submit it with my passport via DHL. Please how long will it take to get my visa after submitting the document
Get a joint sponsor and do what they say. Issuance of visa depends on when the embassy is satisfied.

I am not against people travelling out of naija.I think people should get acquainted with recent immigration laws in whatever country they wish to migrate to inorder to avoid immigration embarrassment.
That’s it. All western countries are tightening up immigration now. No one will wanna house an illegal at the moment

despite your closeness to him . You made your plans and was relying on him. Why can op do same . Sigh
honestly i researched for 2 months or thereabout, he is in texas, i am in midwest, we havent seen each other since i came in. US that is vexing at the moment on immigration, you just cant come here and think someone will house you when ICE are raiding illegals up and down.
Travel › Re: Why Do Nigerians Abroad Always Discourage People From Traveling? by Drenimarcus(m): 7:48pm On Aug 19, 2019
lol this thread tho i don over laugh cheesy cheesy cheesy grin grin grin grin grin. Let me give my own one cent. I had a big brother(not blood) i stayed with for 4 months in Lagos, we so connected and so attached that he tells me everything in his life and i same, he got married, went to the US with this wife for honeymoon, man was always lamenting about Nigeria bla bla, he came back home, spent 2 months and left again with his wife and hasnt come back. He obviously overstayed and i dont know how, he adjusted his status and last year his wife did same. I dont know how but he sent me pictures of their gcs(we all know how). Now here is the thing, he was always telling me on phone when we talk, man dont waste your time, there are options, K1, CR1, but he always says please come in LEGALLY!!! i told him, well with naija reputation who go wan date or file for me? he said try, all these talks were in 2016/17. Seeing the admin i was in 2017, reading blowjobs, franknetter, ukimmigrant and one of my closest pals leaving with Canada with his friends, i started researching on how to come LEGALLY. It narrowed down to 2 options, marry/engage or school in the US. 2018, i kick started my plans, fast forward 2019, 01:42pm i am currently in the US, happily married and i came in LEGALLY! I could see the joy in his face and his wife when i called them on whastapp video call. What i am trying to say is, someone who migrated illegally will advise and explain how hard things because he has no valid papers. Till now, he still calls and advises me on the jobs to do, how to get stuffs done but all legally. some folks back home are not only ignorant but lazy, you want to go to a country that issues you I-94 immediately you are in? i am not trying to dissuade anyone, just saying things from my own side.

for those who are saying they dont want them to come because of competition or they dont employ 9ja, back home, we have had stories of employees ruining companies alot, US is so expensive, why employ people you know that will give you heart aches or you cant trust?
