sharpman1: Guys,
I think it is important and helpful for us to share our interview questions or transcripts for others to learn irrespective of the outcome. I say thank you to those that have shared theirs in the past and also encourage those that have not to please share. It is always helpful and insightful. Others can learn from mistakes and be better prepared regarding the type of documentation that will be useful.
I had my interview on June 24, 2019 and was asked to submit additional documents which i did the next day (June 25) as i had them at home but did not think they were useful or needed for the interview. They have not gotten back to me yet.....and I submitted what was requested a month ago.
See the interview questions below:
1. What is your relationship with your petitioner
2. Tell me what you know about her
3. Who does she live with?
4. Was she married before? No
5. Does she have any child? No
6. Do you have pictures of you together? Yes (i had over 20 new pictures plus the over 40 i submitted with the initial petition)
7. Tell me about the last argument you had together?
8. Do you have pictures of you and your son together? I don't have them here
9. Where is his mother?
10. Any secondary evidence of your ex-wife's death aside the death certificate?
11. Who proposed? How did you propose?
12. When / where are you going to get married?
After all the questions....she says
Before i can approve your visa, I need to see some secondary evidence.
1. I have your ex-wife's death certificate and certificate of cause of death but i need additional secondary evidence like program for funeral, death notification, screenshot of social media posts, pictures, etc.
2. I have your son's birth certificate but I need to be sure of your relationship with your son. So send pictures of you together at different times of his life. She also asked for his hospital records / immunization records but i told her i could not get those for some reasons.....she said okay send pictures.
So if you have kids, know that they may ask for more than birth certificates. If you lost a spouse, they may ask for more than death certificates and so on. You will get a positive response soon bro. Did you the ceac website yet? Wish you good luck bro! |

mekusa10: Okay bro thanks. What of the validity of the medicals or police report? Do they still play anything as long as visa has been received? Note, once you get your visa in hand, your medical records are tied to it. In short, your visa starts counting from the day of your medicals. Police records are valid for one year and medicals 6 months I think. |

simpleAg: You’re so right, it’s a long dysfunctional structure and things just keep getting worst by the sec; just imagine having kids.
I have always said rich or not have a backup plan coz it only takes a different political p to come in and all your asset and wealth goes straight down the drain except you’re very rich I mean the elite. group. Yes. This thread started in 2014. 5 years later, it became the poverty capital of the world. Even the rich have backup plans just in case |

Ugosample: Exactly
back in the day
I have already smelt the rat that this would happen TODAY but many were arguing with us then especially that 2013 time now we have a COMOLETE IDIOT as president taking out country further to the abyss many who defended Nigeria have lost their jobs and are now emergency marketers and living in worse conditions than they were in day 2012/2013....
Anybody who has the means to relocate better do. If not My brother, only a fool will see how things are in Nigeria and not plan his life out now. Like I always tell my Nigerian friends in the UK or here, Nigeria is a destiny killer. A country where nothing except corruption works. |

peerless0012: Hey guys, There is this lovely, Nigerian-American we be talking for many months now. She is single mother. We been talking about getting married when she comes to Naija and then process a visa that will bring me over there. She said it only take between 2-3 months to get the visa after processing.
Please, how long can this take? And what other vital informations do you think I should know regarding this.
Thanks Kindly check Uscis.gov. All you need is all there including the processing times. Goodluck |

Lol this thread is hilarious. Would love to know those arguing about staying in Nigeria then now to know their current position. Are you happy now and fulfilled? You like the security situation of the country? $1-360. Inflation over the roof? Most of them have even deleted their accounts. Deh there deh shout patriotic 9ja. The most useless country in the world! |

Thedream1900: Wave is way better than xoom. As of today 7/23/2019 (9AM Mountain Time), the exchange rate for xoom is 1$ to N350 plus $4.99 transaction fee for sending $100 to Nigeria.
However, for wave, the exchange rate is $1 to 353 with no transaction fee. With wave, sending $100 will deliver N35,300 to your recipient in Nigeria and you pay no transaction fee. In contrast, sending the same amount with Xoom will deliver N35,000 with $4.99 as transaction fee. World remit is 353 per $1 and 4.99 charge. |

mekusa10: For my fellow journey men and women who are married to their USC, this is me trying to think aloud. Do you think a courthouse wedding and a ceremony/party afterwards with family and friends would look like a legit marriage before the CO and in future AOS/greencard interview? Depends on your pocket. Most do court house and when they are financially buoyant, they can the whit wedding afterwards. Nothing to be Afraid off. I did court too. |

Manni0011: I have tons of picture of my Fiancee together with my Families and friends when she was here it was never asked of we will be going through that route do you have any idea what type of Visa to filled for i heard k3 is not available anymore and will it affect if her family is not here for the wedding thanks for the response so far. Sorry about the denial brother, I am trying to see things from the perspective of the CO. He was thinking you have never married, she was here for 3 months, you could have gotten married in front of your friends and family(just saying things from the perspective of the CO). But everything is just guessing from us here, only the CO knows why he denied you. Please have your fiancée write the uscis to cancel the I-129F and come to Nigeria and get married. So sorry about the denial. Stay strong bro. |

LegitBachelor: Yeah it's the last step of the K1 but it's just the beginning of the journey....still a lot of hurdles to cross (social security, marriage, drivers license, health insurance, work permit, green card, naturalization). But I'm not trying to scare anyone. We'll all make it in Jesus Name. A big AMEN to that! |

mekusa10: I don't see anything wrong with it too, I think it was on the basis of lying... Do they ask to login into your social media accounts at POE? Or they hack in cos they can? Bro, once they have you phone, they can see anything I guess. Not scaring anyone but I think passing through the customs is probably the last step of this K1 into the states. |

LegitBachelor: This is serious. I hear they can even see deleted messages. Trump is not joking. This is why its best to always say the truth at all times. There's nothing wrong with having US contacts. I told them I did and I wasn't denied visa. Theres also nothing wrong with working in the US with the K1 as long as you get married to your fiancee on entry and get a work permit or greencard. So the guy just shot himself on the foot by lying. It's well. Yes, they can see deleted chats. We all know you can’t work until you have ead card but dude was probably telling his dudes to get him a job before filing aos |

mekusa10: Please how do you mean no chats about working? Is it talking (with fiance(e)) about working in the states when you get there? Are they scrolling through phones now? Like I said I wasn’t with them, I think the K1 guy was talking to his US contacts about working. |

NeyofeedNigEnt: Can you please tell us more about it..... Not much to say about it, the dude was taken in secondary screening which is normal during poe. And when they came out back, the other customs guy was telling the one I was with that dude had chats about coming to work with K1 and he had US contacts on his phone when he stated he didn’t in his da-160. |

Hi guys, I got something to share about those who are coming to the states soon. Please if you have someone in the states and you said you didn’t in your ds-160 please start deleting their numbers and all, and please no chats about working or such. One dude was deported yesterday because of this. Just throwing this out there. God bless. |
