Hi, thank you so much for your response. But this is me genuinely asking, how does working legally in SA to gain a bit of experience after undergrad, hurtful to my application?🤔 Isn’t it potentially very dangerous to omit information on purpose counting as misrepresentation?🤔 With regards to home ties, so my father has a company, has his CaC,TCC, etc and his work is literally directly related to what I’m going to study hence I plan to write about coming back to help expand the family business? Thoughts?🤔 alphabbey1: |
Good day Everyone, I got into University of Toronto for a 2 year M.Eng In Mechanical and Industrial Engineering starting September 2026 and I have a few questions. 1. My tuition is CAD35,718 per year for 2 years while living expenses is CAD23,000 per year totalling CAD58,718 per year. My Father is my sponsor, he owns a business, in his business account he's got about #230,000,000 ~CAD232k and his personal account he's got about #30,000,000, ~CAD30k. Additionally, I have secured a loan of 41,000 USD which is what I actually want to use to pay my tuition while my father covers my living expenses. Do you think showing Loan + Business account + dad's personal account will be enough POF to convince IRCC? Do you think I should ask my dad to send about #30,000,000 more from his business account to personal so I can show #60,000,000 or more? 2. I did my undergrad in SA, graduated 2024 and been working since then, I'm leaving my job end of may to come apply for my study permit in Nigeria. When showing proof that I worked, is my employment letter and payslip enough? I'm asking because my previous expired passport with my work permit was lost and I have an affidavit that proves it. 3. How do I prove home ties because I'm single, not married, mid 20s? I plan to write about coming to manage my dad's business as he's in the manufacturing sector which aligns closely with industrial engineering. Is it compelling enough? |
Good evening all. Please who has an idea when the Nigerian embassy in Johannesburg will be opened to receiving passport applications again? |

Good morning GURUS. I have been a silent follower of this thread for only God knows how long lol. I am a very young boy who is interested in forex. I was introduced to forex last year June , learnt a few stuffs, went through babypips but it seemed like I was still missing something. I had a live account but when i got admission to study in SA early this year I left forex and broke even on my live account so I could focus on eduation at least for my 1st year. Now I'm on a 3-month holiday and I really wanna sink my teeth into this thing such that even when school resumes I wouldn't have a problem managing my education with forex and winning in both. So, I having been making some research in my spare time all year long and in the course of that I stumbled on this company called imarketslive(IML). Someone introduced me to it and to be honest it was really enticing to join(PS: I'm a very naive somebody lol). I decided to look them up and I really don't know if i should join them or not cos I have actually seen some really good reviews/testimonies an also some bad reviews. So in summary, all I'm trying to ask is how do I learn forex and be a boss in it? ![]() |

Passport got delivered to my doorstep today around 12:35pm tioday.. Lo and behold, Study permit was given!!!!!!!!!!!! ..It took approximately 9 weeks..I want to thank everybody on this platform that has been of help .. I'm so grateful..you lots are the real MVP..Thank you so much..this is my first time of applying. NO agent, just a teenager that submitted genuine documents with the help of God and gurus on this platform.. I was given 2 years instead of 4 years which is the duration of my study due to the fact that my passport expires in 2 years time, guess I'll have to renew it at SA then.. |
DrCollins218:I actually don't know whether my school contacted them or not because i never received a response from the school till now..but if you need to reach them their email is info.zang@vfshelpline.com always quote your reference number when sending them an email...or better still check this quoted post for vfs lagos helpline so that you can talk to one of their staff member Drey143: |
