As far as I'm concerned, no medicine aspirant with 15 points has been admitted yet,they are all on AIP for like 2weeks now

He put in for medicine and his status changed to admitted today

So I'm a DE applicant... I changed to Unilag few months ago around August and then when the DE form was out I tried registering but I couldn't pass the portal always saying my details were wrong.. I. Wasn't the only one that had this issue.. I have a friend with the same issue.. So we kept parading unilag's admission office and they kept telling us they'll rectify... Until the closing date.. No changes observed....Even on caps, it was still my initial school that I picked it was showing... So I gave up...

Surprisingly..my friend which we had the same issue called me tonight and said he has been given admission today through caps..he said I should check mine.. So I checked..although my school has changed to unilag but it reads not admitted..

Note: my a levels result is Cambridge with 16 points.. I applied for elect elect
My friend wrote jupeb he was given medicine with 15 points

So...my question is.. Any hopes.. Can I still be given admission

I guess short term visas are processed faster.. Right?

see what you need from him:

1. statement of account
2. sponsorship letter
3. copy of his int'l passport or valid government I.d card.
4. bank reference letter addressed to the embassy where you are summiting

I think you can just put a signed letter from the company saying they’re sponsoring you that’s what I did when I used a company account

thanks for the reply. I called vfs lagos today and i was told all I need after the statement and sponsorship letter is reference letter from the bank.

Hello house, my dad is my sponsor for my study in S.A and he is using his company's account statement cos the account has a very goood cash flow and turnover.
My question is: Is he meant to state that he owns the company in the sponsorship letter he would write and does he have to submit any proof that he owns it??

Why is your dad accompanying you. Are u under 18?

Family accompany are more of immediate family like spouse or children, don't complicate matters. Just apply for study permit, then your dad can put up application for visit in the nearest future.

No, I'm very well over 18..but I'm going for undergraduate studies in which the school has orientation for parents.. So my dad wants to maximize the opportunity

Apply for your study Visa alone first, when you get the visa, you can then apply for visiting Visa for your Dad.

I'm about to submit study permit visa but my dad wants to accompany me.. Will he apply separately for visa? If he will,what type.. Is it visiting visa cos I can't find any option for accompanying visa on the form I'm filling..
In addition, what is the duration he can apply for?

There are two types.. Momentum and compcare..from the little I know I feel momentum is better but more expensive tho and the registration is online compared to compcare that you'll have to download the form and fill manually... Not much difference in price sha
You can pay through debit card or EFT..electronic finds transfer (bank wire)..i haven't paid too

About requirements just go through their website everything is there...

Hello bosses.. Please I have a question concerning hotel reservation..the school I'm gonna be attending sent me an off campus accommodation letter directed to the SA embassy which I have attached below... Does the content exempt me from hotel reservation??

Hello guys please I have a question.. I wanna apply for a study pemrit..my dad is the sponsor.. Can I use his company's account for financial requirements or his personal account....or are both acceptable..

In addition, about the medical insurance... Must one buy before leaving country..what if someone buys and he I is denied visa?

Is it not acceptable/legit to just get a quote/invoice from the company that dish out the medical insurance and use that for visa processing??
