It is disgusting that some on this forum trivialize what is a very seriuos problem. From a psychological, emotional and physical/anatomical point, it is wrong to take a MINOR as a wife. In many civilized society such will not be tolerated. In US and Europe it is a crime that carries significant jail time. Clearly Tinubu will like to be VP. The reality is, he is not acceptable to Nigerians. The days are gone when you can hide your true self or past, the internet and social media makes that impossibe. Tinubu's past in Chicago and as governor of Lagos is now catching up with him. The details are clear, no amount of denial will change the facts. Prof Osinbajo has impecable pedigree from Igbobi College to UNILAG to LSE. He is articulate and NOT corrupt. He has significant support from christians and lots of support of high net worth Yorubas. I personally don't like Asiwaju, but if it is true that he pushed this choice, its a master plan. I will be very worried now if I am in PDP camp.
This choice is also good for Nigeria. The Prof is just insanely smart and will help Nigeria to be a better country. I had doubts about how he will stand up to other world leaders initially, but the more I read about and learn about him. I for one THANK GOD for this choice. I am so delighted about the choice, I am even willing to forgive Tinubu for ALL his CRIMES against Lagos.
With Buharis tenacity and Profs sophistication and intelligence it appears 2015 will finally be a turning point for our great nation. Well done APC. YOU GOT MY VOTE!

It will make sense to have a young man or woman who can represent us in the world with distinction. Fashola cannot stand up to Tinubu, and he shows that he can be corrupted. Oshibajo is learned and smart but this is out of his league, he is not politically matured, and he is unable to stand next to dynamic world leaders. The others are not capable of managing a revolution, that will challenge the corrupt status quo. There is not a single person on the list that deserve to be VP of a country like Nigeria.
At the end of the day, the criminal leaders of APC will find one way or the other to give Tinubu what he always wanted - The VP spot.

Congratulations to Gen Buhari on his victory, but don't rejoice yet, the real challenge is yet to come. Gen Buhari will loose the election for the following reasons.
1. He is NOT a politician. He is very open and direct. He will eventually be betrayed by the likes of Tinubu.
2. Atiku will work for PDP to undermine him for profit. It will not be in Atiku's business interest to have Buhari as president
3. IBB does not want to go to prison, he will work to make sure that Buhari does not become president
4. Those who support BOKO HARAM will make sure that he does not become president
5. OBJ cannot dictate to him and will work to stop him.

I have followed National, State and local politics for some time now. The political landscape is diverse, however the most important and consistent attributes of our political elites are :

8. Ability to kill human being for profit

There are still some responsible politicians, who are good Muslims and God fearing Christians. They remain in the minority.
